Bestselling author in Bulgaria Charly Wilde goes global and this is one of her first three books published on Amazon.
This short kindle book is a collection of selected poems and texts from her two other books "Speak, Heart!" and "The Day I Stopped Waiting For You".
People say they fall in love with her poetry at instant. "Stay the night" a collection of poems about love, longing, belonging, searching for the true love, missing it, finding it. Complete spectrum of emotions that tear the author and the readers apart.

Really enjoyed the poems in this book. Was shorter than what I thought but still have fun reading it. Charley Wilde has a way of playing with words, making them into beautiful poetry. Will for sure be keeping me eyes out for more but the poet!
In "Stay The Night: selected love stories and poems", Charley Wilde opens up her heart and offers us its contents. She talks of loss and love, and of change, transformation. Of coming out at the other end, not gasping for a breath, but like a butterfly ecloses, uncertain but renewed and full of hope and determination.
Two things I particularly liked in this book are the title in all its ambiguity (stay as to remain, and as to interrupt), and the short poem SLOW DOWN:
Her dreams went faster than his love.
Who hasn't had a love or two or three exactly like that...?
This is a few pages of this gal's thoughts. Hardly a " book of poetry". One showing promise was "My Inner Monologue" but poetry should be more than throwing a few words on a page. Her About the Author page had more feeling. If she has more, I'd say she needs to have around twenty for a "collection" but that is just a number.
This is a quick read, with probing depth of feeling. Once again, Charly Wilde speaks from her heart, a heart which resonates into the souls of her readers. I find much with which to identify in my favorites, No Such Thing, Too Much, and Slow Down.
Have you ever felt that feeling or, worse yet, seen a beauty missing a soul? Look at most of your stressed, food-starved models, and you’ll see it written on their hollow-cheeked faces, their too pale porcelain skin, and pulsing within the depths of their vacant eyes. Are they not robots, slaves to our desire to achieve the ultimate beauty – whatever that may be at the moment?
I think that most of us have raced a relationship ahead in our minds, clearly outdistancing reality. Our girlish fantasies went much faster than his love. We realize what we’re doing, but we cannot help it. In our yearning for love, we hope that perhaps the guy might wake up and hitch himself onto our star. Sadly, it is often not to be. Still, we hope nonetheless. We crash and burn in the ashes of dying love, only to be reborn like the Phoenix, wings flapping, head and heart in the clouds once more.
You’ll enjoy this little book and hold it close to your heart. For it is you. It is all of us.
in an effort towards reading more poetry, i stumbled across this short collection. found it to be honest and lovely. really liked the piece titled 'my inner monologue'.
This was a very short collection, more like a preview of what Charly Wilde can do, and I enjoyed it a little less than her other book "Speak, Heart! Make Them Hear". But I believe that it still shows a promising talent and some of the poems were really good, so it was worth a read.
