Really enjoyed this way of learning, which is audio only. I definitely feel more confident in my speaking skills than before. I prefer this method of learning to Hello Chinese, but I wish this included some contextual or grammar teachings

I figured I’d give Pimsleur a try after a Black Friday sale. It’s different from the way I usually learn because it is audio only and does not rely on reading. I enjoyed it, and it was a good review. These first five lessons contained words I already knew but I have gotten out of practice and found the review helpful nonetheless.

Another thing I liked was each lesson is only about 30 minutes and easily digestible when I’m getting ready for work in the morning. It’s designed to be done one lesson each day. This method would work great before traveling.

Teaches you a lot in a short time and gets you feeling familiar with it. The repetition and focus on pronunciation is great. A little pricey.
