I really enjoy Walsh’s devotionals. They are always interesting, relatable, and backed fully with scripture.

There are so many things keeping us incredibly busy in our lives. But the mind and soul need a rest just like the body does. The authors have created short five minute devotionals to give our souls that rest they are craving. Each devotional starts with a little story that is then tied together with a spiritual thought. They sum up their thoughts with a quote and then give some scripture verses so the reader can spend time (5 min) in God's word.

First, the cover is beautiful and the designs have spread this look through out the book. Loved it.
I've read books by Ms. Walsh before and so knew I would enjoy this devotional. There is humor, entertaining stories and antidotes, and lots of thoughtful messages that brought me closer to God. I enjoyed the extra scripture verses that were at the end of each chapter. This is a great book for those quiet moments when you don't have a lot of time or are traveling and don't want to carry all of your study things with you. It would also make an excellent gift.

This is a really beautiful book, I love the size it its perfect it fits very well in my purse which is a big plus. I love how nice the design and color is its not to crazy and loud its very elegant. I love how this book doesn't take long to read, but it get the word and inspiring words to get you in good spirits so you can go and have a blessed day. I really love this book and would love to let everyone I know about it.

Although I have heard of Sheila Walsh a lot, I have never read anything by her before. This book was definitely a great one to start with. I kind of got it on accident, picking it up at a yard sale. But I am so glad I did. This devotional has short chapters, which even a busy person can work into their schedule. Each devotion is encouraging, filled with stories, and insight, and Bible verses. I really loved this book, and I look forward to reading more by this author.

I did not want this devotional to end

This is a fabulous devotional. I read a chapter every morning to feel the love of God, but you may wish to read it in larger portions. The author is authentic, down to earth, wise and full of love to share. Someday I will probably read it again.

Wonderful way to start and end the day

This book of short stories are very nice motivational affirmations for the beginning and ending of your day. We do not know what the day will bring from day to day so it’s nice to read of God’s amazing love for us before we get the day started and again before we close our eyes!

    Isn't this a beautiful little book? It will make the perfect gift for a friend! What a lovely addition it will make for a gift basket or any type of present. This is a new book from popular author Sheila Walsh. As the title suggests, this book is a devotional with the perfect amount of scripture and text for quick daily reading. Even the busiest of people will be able to fit this into their schedule.
Although I think one should have more time than just 5-minutes for Bible-reading and prayer, I think 5 minutes is better than nothing. This is a good incentive for extremely busy people to start fitting in a consistent devotional time.
