Jarith (Drackon Mates #1)

What’s hotter than an alpha alien warrior? An alpha alien dragon shifter, with a body to die for...

As a Drackon Prince set to inherit the throne, Prince Jarith Rykor is a dragon shifter reluctant to take on the responsibility of being king. He only wants to fly and indulge in debauchery. But when his father makes him take an assignment that takes him to Earth, Jarith has to do his duty and visit the Gladonetics Corporation, even though he despises the humans of Earth.

It all changes when he meets the CEO of Gladonetics, human female Marissa Volander with a desirable pheromone scent that drives him crazy. But Marissa is a femme fatal and has no interest in being anyone’s mate, until she is forced to go on a mission with the prince back to his home planet.

Jarith wants her, but he realizes that his father sent him to fetch Marissa for his own needs. Marissa can’t be his because she belongs to his father, the king.

But when there’s a mutiny in Jarith’s family, he has to protect her from danger that will forever change her life. Many think Jarith should not be the rightful king and want to take Marissa from him. Can he gather enough forces to fight the battle to end all battles? Or will he fail and expose Marissa to a prison she can never escape from while losing the right to his throne?

Terik (Drackon Mates #2)

Terik found his match, but she belongs to his enemy. But it’s never too late…

Dr. Adriana Adams is a geologist with a chance to study a rock from an alien world. But the only way to get to the alien world is to register as a bride to a Drackon weredragon. She finds a registration match in Captain Mordikye Nezis and follows him to Sala, but she was not expecting to fall for another weredragon, Land Sentinel Terik Vuna in the process. His long dark hair, rugged looks, muscular form and a passion for land have her torn between two desires - her career aspirations and her heart.

Land Sentinel Terik Vuna has never found a human female match, but when he sees a photo of Dr. Adriana Adams he knows that she is the one for him. He jumps at the chance to make his first match in her. But it’s too late she’s already matched. Now, he must concentrate on arresting the illegal cargo carrier Captain Mordikye, his enemy. But when he captures the captain he’s surprised to see that the dark haired human female Adriana is with him. Terik knows that Adriana should rightfully be his, but can she be trusted?

When Mordikye breaks out of prison and takes Adriana with him, Terik will do whatever it takes to get her back. Even if it means killing his enemy who holds information that can stop illegal trade once and for all...

Drin (Drackon Mates #3)

Drin couldn’t have her, because of the promise he made. Now they might die…

Dr. Felicity Maltra is on board a research vessel that answers a distress call from a Drackonian ship. The wounded Drackon weredragons on board need her care, but their reason for being in a disabled ship seems suspicious. She doesn’t buy into Captain Drin Ky-Vesa’s lies, especially because he is constantly arguing with his younger brother about something that seems to do with her. But although she must do her duty as a doctor, it does not require her to fall so damn hard for this attractive powerful Drackon Captain, but she can’t help herself.

Captain Drin Ky-Vesa has had no interest in mating with a human female, especially after the promise he made to his father on his deathbed. But now there is a threat from a radical faction known as the purist who seek to stop the Drackon from mating with human females at all costs, even death. As an alien and human weredragon hybrid, Drin feels more conflicted than ever, but his conflict is escalated when he is drawn to the human female doctor that treats his wounds. Now he must protect her even though it goes against everything he’s ever been loyal too.

When the threat of the puri...

Terrible all around

Warning when you get the box set, only 60% is the series. Remaining is 3 other books.

Jarith **
If you want just a quick read with a little romance, little action and happy ending then this is for you. I read the book in a few hours so perfect for a road trip or plane ride. If you can get past the choppy way of speaking that is. It felt like I was reading from a translation since everything was written in proper English and very unnatural way of speaking. There wasn’t much character building, the plots ended in one page after they just began, but for a quick read it doesn’t leave you hanging or asking questions.

Terik *
So basically same story as Jarith. Female geologist sent to do something illegal, falls in love and gets arrested for betraying him. Then he forgives her within hours and they are together again. Just a cut and paste plot line with slightly different characters. And this story takes place about 10-15 years after Jarith and Marissa.

Drin ***
50 years after Jarith and Marissa.
This one had a twist with the Drackon betraying the human female this time. But it wasn’t even that serious but instead of instant forgiveness, the author separated Felicity and Drin for months before they were reunited. Again instant chemistry, quick battle and not much plot or character development. Although so far this one is my favorite out of the series.

Eniv **
Now we go back in time to the time when it was King Jarith and Marissa ruling Mooreah. Melinda is a human detective assigned Eniv as her Drackon partner to find the missing human females that are believed to be sold as slaves. There’s mystery and of course betrayals, but as a reader we can see it coming. Again only small bits of action that we only “hear” about after the fact and the crime is solved in about two pages. Not much depth to the characters so you don’t feel a connection and this was slightly closer to a love/hate relationship. But overall a quick easy read.

Kuvo **
Based off of who is King during this story and the lack of purists, I would say the timeframe is sometime after the story of Eniv but before the story of Terik. The premise behind this one definitely could have been better in regards to following a cliche’ with the ambassador and her bodyguard falling in love. Then betrayal, pregnancy, forgiveness, and happy ever after?

Kasian **
I was dreading reading this last one after the others assuming that it would have the same story lines. However this one had a different twist to it and we get to see a tiny bit of the relationship developing naturally between Kasian and Kelly. But of course, drama happens, betrayal, separation, pregnancy and then forgiveness.

Ugh same overall cookie cutter plots, quick battles, and then female gets pregnant after 1 night and all is forgiven. The women lose their feistiness, and their strength in less than 3 chapters. The worse part is that the entire series is lust alone. The MCs say it is “love at first sight” but there’s not even enough dialogue to even connect with one another.. it’s just lust.

I couldn’t get past the time frames bouncing back and forth in the series. As well as the sloppy way of writing by using months or weeks passing by instead of actually giving us a tiny bit of a clue as to what happened to either of the MCs during those weeks or months.

Jesus I thought I would never reach the end of that God awful mess!!

Why did I choose this rating? Because the books were horrible I wish I would have listened to the reviews and skipped over this but sadly I didnt. I really don't know where to begin with what was so wrong with the books so I'll just say they were very immature and the intimate scenes were eye rolling bad! I skipped over two of the books towards the end because I just couldn't take much more. The last book was the final straw for me it seriously pissed me off because Kelly decided the night before meeting her future husband would be a great time to get laid in the hotel room that her husband bought and paid for her to stay in and turns out it was her future husband's brother she slept with. I really didn't like the way she made the characters sound when they spoke even then it was all very over dramatic. These were just a few of the many things I disliked about the books. I also don't understand how she managed to overlook all the major errors first one was the name of the hybrid king he was the son born from the couple we read about in the first book, at the end of book one his mother says his name as Prince Sion but I'm the next book it's 12 years down the road and one of the men say that's Prince Caspin. Little things like that drive me crazy I had downloaded a bunch of her books since they're free on kindle unlimited but I will be returning them all I won't waste another hour of my time reading this mess.

I copied several of my highlights so you can see a few examples of what I'm talking about this first one is about how I referred to how they talked and it being very dramatic.
"Then go; do not drag out this pain for me any longer. Leave my sight. I have had enough of your torture,"

This is from the last book and Kelly is actually trying to defend her actions she's the one that slept with her husband's brother.
"It's not what you think. I didn't know who he was. He was a mysterious stranger in the hotel. I was just celebrating my last night of freedom. I got very drunk. He came up to me. He seduced me. I had no way of knowing that he was your brother. How was I to know?” I said, crying a very hard cry knowing that it did not justify my behavior. I had betrayed him before I even knew him. It was wrong, it was very wrong. We both knew it.

This is one of those eye rolling comments like this is suppose to make us swoon LoL
"You must know how attractive you are, Dr. Maltra, with your red hair and your green eyes. I could stare at you all day and listen to your saucy, pouty mouth," he whispered to me.
I don't know why but every time I read that I don't read pouty I read potty LoL

Last but not least is the God awful bedroom talk each and every book is the same and good Lord I got so sick of hearing I'm about to release LoL
"Felicity, I'm going to release inside of you. It's happening! I'm coming!"

This one had hit and miss stories in it. Some of the stories were good some of them were not. I don't remember which one's were which so you will just need to read it. I liked the idea of the Drakon's being mated to human women and finding out that not all humans are weak especially women. The were in for quite a surprise when the women didn't just go with whatever they said. However, some of the stories looked like the women were stealing information for the wrong reasons and I didn't like that at all. Though I'm sure it occurs.

Ok so I bought the whole series without reading book #1 because it was 99 cents & I love dragons. I've made it though book #1 and am disappointed it's all in passive voice. Very mind numbing and blah. The premise seems ok but it's hard to keep reading.

I thought it was draken

The stories were fine but I felt like some Draken books were missing. It has Corrillian stories as well. The stories themselves are fine but this is not like some series that finish a whole story. They all feel like stand alone stories in different order.

Enjoyed the books but not the time span just got to know the characters then the next book their son is king what happened?
Also extra book bonuses one in each series would have sufficed with a brief introduction to each book series by the author.

Umph!

Very sexually progressive human and aliens. True love comes in all manner in all the stories; love trumps past judgement calls in a couple of the steamy tales.

It was ok

While the stories were ok, it seemed like some whose first language isn't English was writing it. There were some sections that I had to reread several times to get the meaning of the passage to make sense. The timeline of the stories from jumped back and forth, it would have been easier to read them in a chronological order.

This is a great series. If you like sci-fi romance then read this. I guarantee you will love it and the author.

The series focuses on Earth making contact with an alien race of dragon shifters. They have a lack of females and are able to have children with human women. So a sort of match making is setup for Earth women who want an alien husband and are willing to go to their planet. But things are never that easy. There is always resistance to change from both sides. But when these alien men meet the women they are meant for sparks rise and some hot scenes are abound.

I love the series and only wish there was no end to them.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book.

This is a great choice for those who enjoy sci-fi romances. You get all six books in the series for this low price. The stories feature the Drackon warriors finding their mates in dangerous situations. Their mates are human women who were not necessarily looking for a relationship but find themselves very attracted to the men. The chemistry is hard to resist and many don't resist for long. I liked the mix of action and romance which keep the stories fast-paced.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

I read the first book during my lunch break one day. So bad....so disappointing... Great premise, the writing though...ugh! Seriously horrible. Don't waste your time, unless you enjoy laughing over poorly written books.
