My name is Zhara and I’m completely in over my head. Not only am I pretending to date all of the Bad Boy Rebels, but I’m also going undercover to help bring down one of the most dangerous groups in Honeyton.
And the number one rule to my assignment: I can no longer act like a good girl…
Approx. 15,000 words. EACH VOLUME IS A QUICK, FUN READ Series extends over multiple volumes.
The Bad Boy Rebels series is a novella series that follows Zhara and six guys who are part of a secret detective program. It contains a lot of kissing, steamy scenes, with a bit of suspense, and mystery.
Jessica Sorensen is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author from the snowy mountains of Wyoming. When she's not writing, she spends her time reading and hanging out with her family.
It was... Meh. It's just not interesting enough. And it is too short, so that makes it harder for the reader to get hooked on the story. I have to admit that, considering this was written by Jessica Sorensen, I am really disappointed. I really like her, but unless the story gets better, this is just an epic fail on her behalf.
Considering I find most of the books in this series luke warm. I don't know why I'm still reading the books. However I'm still holding out the hope that they will get better. I'm happy that Zhara is starting to grow a bit of back bone but see's naive as fvck and that kind of grates on my nerves but oh well. Despite the shortness of the stories I do find myself becoming more intrigued with each book I read. I'm a person who finishes what I start, so despite everything I'm going to finish the series
Installment 3! These episodes just keep getting better. This one has more intrigue, more danger, more questions, and more action with the hot Bad Boys. Makes me want more, more, more! I love how Zhara is changing little by little. And I love the guys so far. The pace the episodes are being released is good keeping my frustration to a minimum. Keep it up, because I am hooked.
Jessica Sorensen is an amazing writer. I rarely am disappointed in anything she writes. I would recommend for young adults and up. Fans of C.L. Stone will love. :):):)
The plot thickens. It also has a slight plot twist that leaves dozens of questions on your mind . Can't wait to read the next installment. I am super hooked.
Definitely has kept me interested. We are picking up on the action and the story is developing well. Intrigued by the BBR's and what each of their stories are.
Title: Discovering Zhara: Going Undercover Author: Jessica Sorensen Series: Bad Boy Rebels, #3 Rating: 3.75 Stars
Things are finally getting more risky and more dramatic, and the questions are starting to pile up as well.
Zhara is going undercover for the first time and for everything to succeed, she has to drop the good girl act and be a little bad, which might prove to be a challenge, but one that she accepted.
There are more steamy scenes and the guys are warming up to her, but it's still hard to assume anything as we haven't gotten to know all of them more than a little. And the ending was.... it definitely made me want to pick up the next book as soon as fricking possible.
Whooo I'm tempted to give five stars but again being short has me stuck at four. I'll call it a four and a half because it is getting really interesting and I really am excited to see what is to come and what is going to happen next. Just one thing I still wish it was a regular book so I didn't have to buy each little bit of the story. Again it's getting warmer.
