Meet The Beckett Boys. Each One Dirtier, Rougher, and Sexier Than The Next…
A standalone romance with a guaranteed HEA
HUDSON
I’ve never seen the need to get serious with a woman. I pride myself on keeping things simple -- a quick encounter that lasts a night or two, nothing more.
No attachment, no fuss, no stress.
And then she walks through the door of Fugitives. When we first lock eyes, I feel a stirring deep inside me. Dark impulses. Intense sexual arousal. I’ve never had such a carnal reaction to a woman before. I feel drunk, intoxicated, tugged toward her in a way I’ve never even remotely experienced. I want to possess her.
But even more confusing, even more unusual, is the protectiveness I feel. She screams innocence. And this town has its fair share of wolves. I should know— I’m one of them.
MARISSA
Hudson Beckett is gorgeous. Absolute perfection. Firm jawline, blazing green eyes, lips that could drive you crazy and melt your body. .
I don’t know why, but I want to be with him. Badly. I’m drawn to him. Way more than I should be. He’s so confident and self-assured -- he both intimidates and arouses me.
Hudson is dangerous, all wrong for me, but I ache for him.
What he does to me when we’re together is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. The way he touches me, the way he tastes me. But if he wants me so badly, why is everything between us a secret?
Is this really just a game for him? It seems like more than that, but then again, he is a Beckett Boy. And everyone tells me they’re good for nothing but heartbreak….
This was super dirty. I had to check my own id at a few points. But how the brothers go from being the closest ever to not speaking doesn't make sense. But I have 1 more to go. Now that dad is out of prison let's see what happens. And will we get a book on Axel?
And this had something to do with the timing references. They just stagnated going back and forth by simply referring to weeks. Time seemed to just stall, so I was never sure even how long they were together which for me makes disjointed reading material.
A quick, suspenseful romance that you won't want to miss. This has been a really good series that I've enjoyed, for the most part. There are a lot of repetitions to the storyline and the sex scenes (as I've stated in my previous reviews), which are sadly taking away from the stories themselves. If I hadn't already invested so much time into reading this series, or had I known that it was going to be this way, I would've probably stopped reading after book 2 or 3.
I'm intrigued with the sub-plot of the cousins trying to obtain the bar for their father, how they've been going about doing so, and how it will end. These are really good stories, and I have enjoyed them. I would recommend this book series, and author.
Hudson was such a great book. I enjoyed it so much. The characters are so well-written and are very interesting. The storyline is intriguing and extremely interesting. I love how the characters evolve and grow.
The Wicked Professor was a great book too. Such a taboo topic but very well-written. The characters were described so well. Totally realistic and you felt like you could feel their love. Both book were awesome!
On the up side, this story line was a little less repetitive than the previous ones. On the downside, the conflict and character depth were lacking. It is getting harder to relate to the characters in this series. I'm a sucker though, I've made it this far and plan to see how the series gets finished up.
Enjoyable, yet a little uncomfortably to read, rough in the "bedroom". Hudson is conflicted about so much. Marissa knows what she wants, and even though it might be tough to demand, she also knows what she deserves. 6 down 2 to go.
This series has some meaningful information and I can't wait to read the next book and my fingers are crossed that nothing bad will happen but I'm not convince it won't
This was a pretty interesting book. Some of the characters was really shady. I was happy to finally see Hudson admit his feelings to Marissa. Marissa had to go through a lot for him to admit those feelings. Overall I really enjoyed the book I wish you would continue on with his brothers Axel and Hale finding them a woman. Great read. I recommend this book to all romance readers.
Marissa and Hudson are one boss/sub story too hot to miss! Marissa is just passing through but needs some fast cash and figures a job a Fugitives is just the ticket. What she didn't count on was the boss... Hudson figures if you can't beat em join em so that's his strategy for taking down Outlaws. He's biggest muscle has always been his brain much to his fathers dismay, but he thinks this is the best plan for really making they fail. When Marissa walks in looking for work he knows he should say no. He can't afford to get distracted. But he is drawn to he and he can't turn her away. As they grow closer they can't explain why the feelings they share are so incredibly strong. But when plans start to back fire and things heat up quickly will the pressure to make the Outlaws pay destroy everything?
The Beckett saga continues in book 6. Hudson the quiet, strong, sexy alpha male who is now the decision maker of the family is consumed with revenge, continuing a feud and destroying their presumed enemy. But, nothing is as it seems. I love Hudson and Marissa's attraction, connection, and growing feelings for each other that has him reevaluating what is important. Their hot, steamy encounters and sensual seduction is palpable. I liked Hudson's transformation and his choice too choose love instead of revenge. This book ended in a shocking cliffhanger, and I am anticipating what happens next! I recommend reading the Beckett Boys series!
Lol Burch is coming home...cannot wait to see what he has planned. I am thrilled Hudson came to his senses and started a life with Marissa. They are living happily together until they hear from Butch. Cannot wait for that book. Will Hale stand up to his father and find love?
