i expected this novel to be one of a kind. was completely misled by the high ratings. nothing unusual in the book, just your average terrorist plot, became too predictable in the end.

A nice pick for any crime readers. Great pace and a very interesting plot. After the first few chapters, I felt I could predict the end, but it turned out to be quite different and that improved the experience. Good one.

A perfect thriller novel that will make you to keep guessing from the beginning till the end. I was thoroughly impressed with the way the story was written which has taken off right from the start and maintained the same pace till the end.
Ajay comes to know about the demise of his brother Vishal Deshmukh and he senses something amiss when he saw his corpse. Though they were not in good terms prior, Ajay could not forget his little brother. He starts his investigation and stumbles upon one clue after the another. He gets ably assisted by Richa, Saif, Ashraf, Roy among others.
He also learns about his brother and regretted for not being there when he needed him the most. Ajay thought he was initially fighting against Vishal's employee Dr Nihal Kapoor aka NK but then he came to know that he was fighting a much bigger outfit.
What happens next is the story. It is a perfect movie material which would surely enthral the audience if shot with perfect screenplay and direction. A story that would make you feel happy, sad, patriotic and above all spine-chilled.
By the way, Vishal Deshmukh was aka SHOT!!

The book looked a little big before I started, but then as soon as I dived in it was very hard to put down. It's a fast-paced, action-packed thriller. The author takes you through the innards of Mumbai city with beautifully described scenes. You are part of the action, almost. The plot is good and details are well researched. Most of all, it's a thoroughly enjoyable read. I would love to see more books from the author and even a movie based on this one!
Highly recommended!

This is a very well written book considering that it's a debut. The author has definitely researched a lot and it shows in the detailing and authenticity of the scenes. The pace is quite good and the story keeps moving interestingly. There is a little bit too much emotion to my liking but this can be ignored as the rest is pretty amazing.
Ajay, our hero, in trying to unravel the mystery of his brother's death, stumbles upon bigger and more dangerous things. The scenes in and around Mumbai are so well visualised that you can 'see' it.
