They met on a vacation in Hawaii. She was there to try and heal her broken heart while he was trying to escape his fame. For four days they played the happy tourist couple. Only on her last night there did she succumb to his charms. Brianna Morgan was known best in her town for dumping the town's most eligible bachelor when she found him cheating on her. Now she was stuck in the middle of planning her crazy best friend's wedding. Two weeks before the wedding her reluctance to be involved became a stern no when she first spied the best man. Chase Montgomery was so over being the most talked about man for his action movies. If he never made another movie again he would be happy. He needed something real. Something like the four days with that beautiful woman in Hawaii. The first woman to ever say no to him and the steamiest night of his life. She was gone in the morning and he never saw her again. Idle thoughts of her became no more when he realised she was a bridesmaid at his best friend's wedding. Now all he had to do was convince her that their time spent vacationing together was enough to prove they were destined to be together. The chase was on and it was sure to be a thrilling ride!
Sandra Corton has been writing stories since her teenage years. She now writes for her many followers on Wattpad and for the sheer pleasure of writing. She tends to write romance that sometimes exists in the realm of fantasy. She writes both teen and adult fiction. When her characters want their story written she is expected to write it, no matter how young or old they are. She lives on the Central Coast of Eastern Australia (so now her odd spelling might make sense) with her husband, her cat and her husband’s collection of pythons (now around twenty).
Mostly, girls who watch television would fall in love with Chase. But Brianna Morgan doesn't even have a T.V. He found his interest in her, but to his surprise, she rejected him. He thought it was his job to chase her. He loves her. She doesn't, at the beginning, so Chase knows that he is the one for her. Do you think Brianna Morgan will change her mind?
I love this book, it's got a lot of difference than other books, especially the characters.
I don't mind if any of you read it, it's a really good book.
I randomly remembered this book and how much I loved it when I first read it on Wattpad in 2014. So I searched for it because I couldn't remember the name. Found it, read it, and I am surprised I didn't love it as much as I did back then. We really change, and what impresses us changes too. Loved it 11 years ago, and I was just fine with it this time.
Maturity has made me kinda dislike Chase. It's made me want to shake up Brianna . Why was she so winy and always playing victim. I don't know, reading it when I was younger, it felt so cute. Reading it as a woman in her 30s, it thoroughly annoyed me.
I think I read this in Wattpad originally so I really enjoyed seeing it get published and enjoy rereading it every so often. A wonderful feel good romance story.
I read this book when it was on Wattpad. That was probably more than 10 years ago. This book is exactly how I remember. Some things did not age well, but others did. Still very happy with it.
Guilty pleasure is re-reading books I read when they were on Wattpad that have since been published. This one definitely still reads like a Wattpad book in the best way possible.
I first read this book on Wattpad and immediately after it was taken down because Sandra Corton was getting it published. I loved this book and it is one of my go-to comfort read. I have a physical copy now and it is nice to have around but I don't understand why there are no page numbers (it drives me insane). Besides that, this book is super cute and romantic.
Brianna Morgan has had an extremely hard childhood and it has not gotten any easier as time went on. An orphan that is constantly thrown into different foster homes was not the life she choose but she puts that negative energy into her work. Despite the terrible pay and owners, Brianna loves the children she cares for at the local daycare. Her best friend Andy is her number one support but sometimes thinks she knows what is best for her. Brianna wins a once-in-a-lifetime solo trip to Hawaii conveniently after catching her horrible boyfriend cheating on her. Wanting to use this trip as a way to put her mind off of things at home, she meets a thoughtful and charming man at the hotel restaurant. Sparks fly but are short-lived as the trip comes to an end.
Chase Montgomery is a movie star who hates the limelight. He decides to take a short break between films and goes to Hawaii to try and relax. Annoyed by constant questions, autographs, and pictures he finds himself at the hotel restaurant/bar trying to escape his troubles. He soon discovers a beautiful girl who could care less about the chaos around her as she reads a book and drinks orange juice at the bar. Curious, he tries to get to know her only to discover she has no idea who he is. They spend the rest of the time in Hawaii inseparable until he wakes up one morning to find her gone. Having no way to contact her, he tries to move on.
A year later Andy is getting ready for her wedding. Brianna now the maid of honor is still overworked, underpaid, and unable to get a day off at the daycare. But as luck would have it Chase Montgomery shows up as none other than the best man for the wedding. The town is buzzing with excitement, except for Brianna. Thinking she is destined to be alone and miserable she is mortified to find out that the sexy man she met in Hawaii is famous and won't leave her alone. So Chase has to do what he does best, chase.
Chase and Brianna met on a vacation in Hawaii. Brianna decided to travel to Hawaii to forget a current love while Chase wanted to forget all about his fame. Even though they only spend a few days together. Their last night together in Hawaii she felt madly in love with him but didn't want to be with him. Brianna was a well known wedding planner in her town. At the moment she was planning one of her best friends weddings. Two weeks before the wedding there was no best man to be found. Chase could not forget the four most amazing nights he spend with that beautiful girl in Hawaii. Even though the girl did not want to be be with him he still wanted to be with her and wanted to find her. Little did he know he was soon going to see her at his best friends wedding. I really liked this story because I love reading stories that have to do with romance and impossible love. This two characters were really in love but since they lived so far and came from very different worlds they felt they were not meant to be together but faith proved them very wrong. I also love the way it was written there was a few words I had too look up in order to understand some sentences but over all I could understand mostly everything.
Absolutely loved this free book on Wattpad. It was a recommended book and I am so glad I read it. I really enjoyed the story and was sad to see it end. Brianna and Chase have their share of ups and downs but I am so thrilled with the outcome.
This book will always be my favourite book of all times! Many people don't think much about this book, but to me it's perfect and Sandra Corton, the writer, is wonderful.
I know, I know. This book is by no means a star in the literature universe, but it was very sweet, even though the writing was naive and the story unrealistic. But hey, a movie star!
