"Agent on a Mission" is a romantic thriller that follows the turbulent life of Naima, a Bedouin child, whose unusual beauty endangers her life. Renamed Abigail, she is smuggled and hidden away from the sight of predators during her childhood. She grows up into an amazing beauty and a renowned lawyer, who is recruited by the “Mossad”. On her dangerous mission in enemy territory, along with Israeli “Mossad” agent, Judge Adam Ayalon, both are abducted by terrorists and thrown into a living tomb. Trapped and chained up like dogs, beaten and abused, they succeed in... Yes, it is a unique story of abduction with an enthralling twist in the plot... The President of Israel, Mr. Shimon Peres's read this book and wrote to me: "Your book integrates realistic and fictional elements and deals with a complex and painful issue… Its moving plot brings about difficult moral dilemmas, both on the personal level and on the national level, whose solution involves a sensitive performance… In your book, as well as in reality…" (-) Shimon Peres The President of Israel

This is the story of a Bedouin girl who was born looking different than others in her family. Naima is taken from her family and sent to a school where her name is changed to Abigail Ben-Nun and from there she becomes a lawyer and then a secret member of the Mossad. This is only part of this story of suspense and intrigue. The author did a good job with the story and in keeping all the characters separate in the readers mind. I liked the writing style which kept the story flowing and held the readers interest in this fairly long story of mystery in a woman's unusual life.
I just couldn't get through this book. It must have been translated. The way it was done made it unreadable. It was just too long to deal with the frustration. I read some comments and people liked the story but I was lost since sentences would end without a complete thought. It jumped to a new sentence that made no sense because you didn't get to read the line before it. Too much guess work. And the punctuation. If it could be re-edited it might have a chance.
A very full book with great details that form pictures in your mind. I was half way through when even more action kicked in. You will not be disappointed with this novel. Also, excellent editing. I was impressed that this story was set in a land unfamiliar to me but I was immediately immersed.
So this book for me wasn't what I was expecting. Some of the book was very interesting. Some of the characters in this book there story didn't really make since to me. This book was like something I just couldn't stop reading but wanted it to be over. The more I read the more I became interested. Thanks
I found the beginning confusing as well as the pu ctuation a the e d of each paragraph. The character development of Abigal was capturing and kept me riveted to the story.
Such and interesting collection of tales that lead into one story. A strong woman from a diverse upbringing risking life and limb for her country always makes me feel patriotic
Wow! What a a compelling and captivating story. Rose Fox says this is her first endeavor. Kudos! You will be on an emotional rollercoaster ride from the birth of Naima through the end. I can't wait to start the next installment. I highly recommend this book.
This is a saga of triumph of one devoted man who at tremendous risk to himself was responsible for saving two Israeli hostages. He was eventually killed but the hostages were saved.
The first book was much better. As I said with the first, toJames Bond, but this book was way too convoluted and too many different stories to be enjoyable.
