Archibald Alexander Hodge (July 18, 1823 – November 12, 1886), an American Presbyterian leader, was the principal of Princeton Seminary between 1878 and 1886. He was the son of Charles Hodge, named after the first principal of Princeton Seminary, Archibald Alexander.

If you’re looking for a concise argument for why we celebrate the Christian Sabbath, The Lord’s Day, on Sunday then this is it. Hodge also provides a short yet effective argument for why it is the New Covenant Sabbath, and not just a day for when we gather for church.
