this shit is so fucking funny i was about to unhaul it but then i told my pookies about how wild book one was so i decided just to open it and skim for the tea, but then we were all entertained so i read it in one sitting and its so fucking bad and terrible and stupid i had such a good time this is so bad i was wheezing of pure laughter what do you mean he basically got a UPC tattoo on his heart LMFAO
I loved it, I have a thing for everything Chloe Walsh. Honestly, I liked this book more than the first— he had such a glow up Also one love Chloe Walsh’s music choices
i don’t love this series but i’m gonna push through for the goodreads goal. it also feels like their whole relationship just revolves around sex so.. not great imo but oh well.
Leí esto en contra de mi voluntad, yo solamente quería leer todo lo que había escrito Chloe Walsh pero empiezo a arrepentirme de mi decisión ¿¿QUE CLASE DE BASURA ES ESTO??
This was a good second book in the Faking It series. The first ended with Adriana feeling heartbroken and betrayed. She's now a pariah everywhere. Her brother Jackson feels pissed off and betrayed as well to find out that his best friend and his younger sister have been together. He no longer protects her and school is terrible. Her best friend Ivy chose her brother over her. She doesn't think she can forget or forgive Nathan when she finds out something horrible.
Andi feels so lonely and destroyed. Her brother and best friend have completely turned their back on her. She still understands that her brother feels hurt and isn't completely angry with him for it. She can't stop loving Nathan but she doesn't think she could ever get over what he's done.
Nathan loves Andi and always has. He never thought he was good enough for her and tried so long to keep her away from him for her own good. But he can't stop himself from being with her. She's his everything and he won't let anyone stand in the way of that. He loves Jackson but Andi is his priority and he can't understand how his friend could turn his back on her. He needs her to understand why he did what he did and she was part of the reason he did it.
Jackson and Ivy are pretty terrible characters. Jackson is Andi's older brother and he's always protected her. But he finds out about her and Nathan and he completely turns his back on her. He allows the people at school to totally do whatever they want to her. I'm sorry he might be hurt and feel like his best friend and sister have betrayed him. But he shows what kind of character he truly has from this. Ivy has been Andi's best friend for years and knows what kind of jail she lives in and her horrible parents. But when Andi needs her, she chooses to follow the horrible older brother and not be there for her. She doesn't understand being a true friend.
Worth reading and ready to read the next part in this series.
I found even though it was a quick read, it took half way through for Nate to finally explain and give the answers to the position he was put in with her mum.
I haven't read this authors work before but I get put off on constant character names being said especially if not needing it.
Jackson's character was over the top obsessive and dramatic with hating and not wanting his bestie and 'little' sister together. Gee a whole year age difference and considering Nate seemed to be the relationship type rather than Jackson who constantly slept around.
Andi's character was still childish and had no common sense, like not being on the pill yet wanting him bare, hmm....
Awful, dysfunctional Parents and when they find out their daughters with Nate shits gonna hit the fan.
Continuing with the 3rd in series to see what this twisted family does and how it all concludes

I can't get enough of Nate and Andi. I love a good brothers best friend and this is it. They are short reads which is perfect. I can't say anything else without spoilers.
Ok, the bomb was majorly dropped, and I was sickened by the reasons, such a shame. But I'm shocked in and I'm starving for the finale! On I go and I'm so excited!
So, I read book one and I knew that if I read two it would be worth it! It did not disappoint me and I thought it was so much more intense than the first one and even better. I can´t wait to see about book 3.
The young adult novel captures some of the frustrations of being a teenager. I could relate to the whole over protective thing and i thought it was written really well. Easy to connect to them and i liked Adriana more in this one.
You Have To Read It!! So I've Just Finished Reading Off Limits And Off The Cards! When Off Limits First Came Out I Was So Excited To Read It, I'd Said To Myself 'Once I Finish The Book I'm On I'm Going To Read Off Limits'. By The Time I Had Finished The Book I Was On, I Had Seen People's Comments Through Facebook That Off Limits Had A Huuuge Cliff Hanger And I Knew I'd Be Super Angsty If I Read It So I Told Myself I'd Read It When The Second One Came Out, So I Could Read Them Together.... A Few Days After The Second One Had Come Out I'd Seen On Facebook That There Was A Bit Of A Cliff Hanger Again But In My Mind I Was Like 'Nope Danielle You Can Not Be Waiting For The Third One!' I Needed To Read Both Of These After Seeing All The Snippets Chloe Had Put On Facebook! Well I Am Super Duper Happy That I Read Them Because They Are Amazing! I Cannot Wait For The Third Book To Come Out! Yes There Is A Cliff Hanger At The End Of Off The Cards But I Can Wait, Because I'm So Excited To See How It Goes. Love Love Love Nate&Andi... Can't Wait To See What The Future Holds For Them, As Long As They're Together
Definitely better than the first one but after reading this series and BOT i know for sure CW’s favorite tropes, cause god she has a type.. Also he was so much better in this book, loved the glow up
An author that I am making it my way through as I try to do this every year - is picking an author and clearing their backlists of books. One of those authors is Chloe Walsh. Last month at the Blink 182 concert, while waiting in line - I read Book #1 in this series and so today Easter Saturday in bed this morning, I read Book #2 Off the Cards. At the end of Book #1, we had the major cliffhanger that Nate had slept with Addie's mum. This broke Addie's heart but at the same time caused a fracture in her family as she lost not only the one she loved and trusted-Nate but also her older brother Jackson and best friend Ivy stopped talking to her. Addie was suddenly all alone. Nate though isn't about to give up on the one person he has always loved and so he will pursue her and be there when she's ready to talk. I am glad that Addie pushed and Nate finally told her the true reason why he slept with her mum as it made sense to Nate's character we had seen in the last two books. It also made me hate Addie's parents even more. Again the book ends on a cliffhanger as Addie has a secret now and her parents are threatening to disown her if she walks out the door. Will Addie choose the safe life and continue to be under her parents' thumb or will she choose love and the start of a life with Nate? Find out in Book #2 of the Faking It series - Off the Cards by Chloe Walsh. I am now looking forward to reading Book #3 and I am hoping for a bit of happiness for the pair as they truly do deserve it as life has been crap to the both of them up till now.
Okay, never mind, I take back what I said in my last review. That guy is a victim. Is it just me who thinks that Jackson is a really bad brother? And Ivy too. I feel like Ivy really had no reason to be mad at Andi because she knew about her and Nathan in the first place. If anything, she was ENCOURAGING Andi to go out with him. She was the one telling her that Nathan liked her so I really don’t get what her problem was? Jackson, fair enough, he was upset about things but he was just so unnecessarily cruel to Andi and the things he said to her really did mirror the things that their dad would say to her. Also, talk about being a hypocrite? He’s literally dating Andi’s best friend — AFTER he had a one-night stand with her, because apparently it’s okay for him to do shit like that but not Andi — but he wants to get all pissy about Andi and Nathan? One last thing — the way they speak is really throwing me off. In this series, they speak like stereotypical Americans from the south in the 1990s. It just doesn’t sound natural to me?
This story picks up where the previous book finished. As the first book, off limits, finished on a cliffhanger we get some answers in this story. Although I am angry for Andi, I feel for Nate. He obviously didn’t choose to do what he did. He was protecting his family. I liked Andi and Nate together. The chemistry between them is still stronger than ever. From page one of this story, I was hooked. I read this book in one sitting. Just like book one, book two finishes on a cliffhanger. One last thing, Jackson was an asshole in this story. I was also irritated with Ivy. She was Andi’s best friend yet she didn’t stick up for her. Yet I understood her reasons. I also want to bitch slap Andi’s mother.
So the second part of Nate and Andi's story starts off with a rehash of the last few pages of the first book. Skip ahead a few weeks and Andi has been deemed a leper by her fellow students, brother and even "best friend". Ridiculed and shamed, Andi keeps going. Nathan really redeemed himself in this part. He is a strong support for Andi. We finally find out the dirty little details of bomb dropped at the end of book 1. It actually make me feel for Nathan and disgusted with pretty much everyone in Andi's family. So book 2 ended with another large bomb dropped. Interested to see where this goes ane how the couple manages to make it. I have loved every Chloe Walsh book I have read. This one was no exception.
This book is another brilliant installment of this great series . It starts where number 1 finishes with Andi reeling from the secrets Dallas unleased on her about Nates involvement with Andi mum . She's hurt and broken , she can't look or be near Nate even though she loves him . Her brother hates her and makes her life a living hell . So will Andi decide to ignore her heart and let Nate go ? Or will she take a chance on the boy she's always loved ? There is twists and turns in this book but be warned finishes on another cliffhanger.
3.5/5 Very quick read. Continued story from book 1. Lot of bombshells in this short book. Nate slept with Andi's mom so she wouldn't tell anyone that her husband (Andi's dad) slept with Nate's sister and is the father of her child..ie Nate's niece is Andi's sister. The dad doesn't know. Andi's brother, Jackson, doesn't know about any of this either. Not only that, but Andi gets pregnant. So much drama, hard to believe the last book will tie everything together. Andi and Nate.

I loved this second book on Andi and Nate. I love how Andi was more outspoken not so shy and meek. She stood up for herself and Nate. Nate is just a great guy all around. He loved Andi and vice versa. That cliffy oh my I can't wait for the next book. Chloe nailed it again.
OK, I'm not going to lie. This book had me hooked... I started it at 10pm last night, and by 9:30am today, it's finished. Mainly because I was hooked, but also because it was an extremely easy read. In some cases, the language was a little immature, and the terminology Andi and Nate use actually frustrates me.
There was also a few occasions where the names got mixed up. Text from 'Nate' when it should have been 'Jackson'. I'm one of those people that notice these things, so that can bug me.
Over all, I couldn't put the book down, and I'm waiting to find out what happens next. I will be reading some other books by Walsh, as I like her minds way of thinking, and the story line of Faking It series.
I would recommend to anyone who wants a chick lit book to pass the time, but do prepare to get hooked.
Wow Chloe's books just keep getting better, this is the second part of Andi and Nate's story and it doesn't disappoint. Can Andi and Nate overcome all the obstacles that lay a head of them including her parents and brother ! Can't wait for the next book.
Ok... I was intrigued but as I was reading it.... I thought, watch her get pregnant.... Why do all these books theme young love with young pregnancy?????
