Digging, pushing, mixing and tipping! Lift the flap to see each vehicle busy at work. Perfect for guessing, prediction and memory skills and simply joining in!
Sure to be a favorite of the young truck-loving, construction site set, this board book features five different vehicles at work on a construction site--a concrete mixer, a bulldozer, a crane truck, a digger, and a dump truck--and encourages young readers to lift the sturdy flap on its right hand side. Once the flap is lifted, readers can find a label for each vehicle as well as what it's carrying. Part of the Wheels at Work series, this one encourages readers to make guesses about the function of the trucks as well as predicting what might be found once the flap goes up. It's fun for youngsters to be able to name the trucks that move through their streets. I have to say that I had no idea what some of these things were called, and even I learned something even though I am not the book's intended audience. My only regret is that the books are short.
Elliot really enjoyed this lift-the-flap board book about different construction trucks. Simple enough for infants and toddlers to enjoy, especially with the large flaps
I'm fully intending on reading this in baby storytime. Ask the grownups to interact with baby some way with each truck. Mix the concrete? Tickle baby's tummy! This is gonna be a blast.
