What a sweet and wholesome book to add to my grandchildren's library! It tells a wonderful story about bullying and cheating. But through confidence and courage, the Dino-Buddies win, teaching excellent socio-emotional skills I highly recommend this book for little ones!

I entered for this book because it reminded me a lot of a picture book series I loved as a child called The Dinofours. The Dino Buddies are a band of colorful, honest dinosaurs who want to play their baseball game fairly. Unfortunately, they're playing against the Dino Bullies, who try to cheat and ruin the baseball game by stealing the second base, along with throwing the baseball before they should, and taunting the Dino Buddies on the sidelines.

At first they are discouraged, but the Dino Buddies remember to have Courage and Confidence, which the "C + C" on Ty Bobb's baseball glove stands for, and they're determined to have a fun, fair game whether they win or not. In the end, they score a home run and win the game, proving you don't have to play dirty to win and have a good time.

Being a big fan of dinosaurs, I was a little excited to receive this kids book for my children. The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous with their vivid colors and unique detailing. I did feel that for a children's book, the pages were a bit bogged down with words; so many words caused my children to become a little impatient and lose some of their attention. I thought the theme of being confident and having courage was pretty cute, but once again the theme was a little lost on the kids once their attention started to ebb due to "too many words". Still a good book that we are happy to add to our collection.

My four year old loves baseball and he loves dinosaurs. This book was perfect! As an added bonus the book has a great message about playing fair and beautiful illustrations.
