Depois de conhecer Adam Quinlan e a Amy Carter em O Beijo do Bilionário, descobrimos que nem sempre é como parece e principalmente, que o amor pode ajudar a enfrentar problemas com pessoas extremamente focadas em dinheiro, destruição e guerra.
No livro O Affair do Bilionário, temos a continuação, conhecendo a história do irmão do meio, Dylan. Depois de ter um caso com uma mulher casada, Dylan precisa fugir do marido dessa mulher e agora lidar com a sua antiga namorada e a única mulher que ele realmente amou. Sarah aceita ajudá-lo a se livrar do enorme problema em que ele se enfiou, sem esperar que ela acabaria entrando em problemas junto a ele. Mágoas do passado se faz presente na vida do Dylan e da Sarah, junto com um mistério sobre uma morte os rodam, ligado a um grupo de pessoas poderosas que desejam mais poder torna todo o livro mais intenso e repleto de adrenalina, junto com muita tensão, sexo e amor.
O que começou com um caso de uma noite, depois de tanto tempo se verem, acabou se tornando algo a mais, que nenhum dos dois estavam prontos para isso, mas que um desejava mais que o outro pudesse admitir.
Dylan se vê em meio ao problema com esse grupo e tentando reconquistar seu antigo amor, todos os dias um novo desafio e uma nova tentativa de mostrar o quanto eles são especiais juntos, mesmo que o Dylan não seja capaz de dizer que a ama, ele demonstra com atos e acaba me conquistando cada dia mais.
Descobrir como lidar com tudo isso foi um enorme desafio, principalmente para a Sarah, que não confiava mais no Dylan, não depois da forma em que tudo acabou, no entanto, ela ainda tenta, principalmente por nutrir sentimentos por ele. A história é toda contada na terceira pessoa, no entanto, a autora trabalhou para que fosse compreensível na mente de quem estávamos naquele momento, se era Dylan quem tinha um foco maior ou Sarah.
A personalidade do Dylan, sendo mais fechado, me deixou mais curiosa sobre ele, além de claro, conhecer um pouco mais sobre os outros irmãos que com certeza terão em outros livros.
A capa do livro não me agradou. Me deu a sensação de ser um livro de banca, sendo que poderia ter sido mais trabalhada e explorada. No entanto, a revisão está boa e isso me fez gostar mais do livro. Com uma história gostosa, a trama te envolve e te atiça a querer saber o final do livro, louca para descobrir como vão se livrar do imenso problema em que se envolveram.

I love these types of
Stories they keep you hooked on them until you finish them. This one didn’t disappoint it’s full of intrigue and romance, love and laughter and anything else you could want. So I suggest you try this series and hope you enjoy it.

Esse é o segundo volume da Série Os Magnatas, mas não vou citar nada comprometedor que estrague a leitura do livro anterior - , mas é importante que leia na ordem, pois os acontecimentos são gradativos.
Após comprar a empresa Grafton Techs, os irmãos Quinlan estão alçando novos empreendimentos, e o mais recente interesse de Dylan Quinlan é fechar um contrato com Vladimir Orlov, o implacável magnata russo. No entanto, esse pequeno contato trará mais problemas do que Dylan pode imaginar, pois ao ser pego em flagrante com a esposa do russo a vida dele vira um inferno.
Quote: "Tinha sido incrível revê-la e ele ainda estava se recuperando desse reencontro. Mas ele não a queria envolvida nesta loucura - o pensamento de ela se machucar o afligia. A verdade era que ela era a única mulher que ele já amou."
Sarah Newell é a gerente de um hotel em Londres, que vive de modo pacato e calmo até ser surpreendida ao ouvir um grito feminino e reencontra o ex-namorado num dos quartos e precisar apartar uma briga. Mas os homens Quinlan não são do tipo que precisam esconder e nem negar seus encontros amorosos, e para sair de uma enrascada Dylan diz que Sarah é sua esposa.
Esse reencontro propõe aos dois uma nova chance de reviver por alguns dias a chama do antigo amor que acharam estar apagada. E eu ADORO romances com segunda chance... Mas o que ninguém esperava era que Natalia Orlov aparecesse morta e que Dylan fosse um dos suspeitos. E então, o enredo pega fogo; adoro uma boa perseguição, máfia russa e agentes disfarçados.

Sarah é uma personagem que agrada, vemos sua insegurança num momento tão tenso e dramático ao descobrir que o ex tem contato com a máfia, mas que também nota que Dylan apesar de maduro ainda é o mesmo homem por quem se apaixonou. É fácil perceber a paixão que ambos tem e a autora faz um ótimo trabalho nos mostrando através de conversas como foi o adeus entre os personagens sete anos atrás, e eu concordei com a decisão. Era algo maior e mais importante do que o que sentiam. Poucas autoras tem coragem de fazer um rompimento assim.
Quote: "A verdade era que ele acordava quase todas as manhãs pensando em Sarah, então por que hoje seria diferente? Mas ele se recusou a se permitir apaixonar-se por ela. O amor era doloroso."
Adorei rever Amy e Adam, os personagens do livro anterior, e saber um pouco mais como está o relacionamento deles. Também temos um presença maior do filho mais novo, Joseph; um jovem talentoso em uma área super diferente dos irmãos mais velhos e que já me cativou.
Super recomendo a leitura. A autora Julie Farrell nos leva por um passeio turístico em meio ao verão Londrino que me fez desejar ainda mais conhecer a cidade. Além de que esse romance também não fica atrás no quesito de cenas calientes - que por vezes achei que foram muitas -, mas é o gosto da autora. E também das boas doses de ação que deixaram esse segundo volume tão emocionante como o primeiro; e digo que estou curiosa com o terceiro porque termina com um gancho muito bom para o próximo.

This second cracking entry in Julie Farrell's Billionaire romance series concerns Quinlan brother Dylan - and is set in London, where he returns to a hostile reception... he's now in big trouble due to his affair with the wife of a powerful Russian businessman.
One thing he hadn't bargained for though was running into old flame Sarah, who re-enters his life due to a strange twist of fate at the beginning of the story - the spark of their old romance immediately becoming rekindled, and soon to burn red hot!
But, there's not quite time for them to rest easy yet, as danger lies ahead for them both as they endeavor to prevent the blueprint of Dylan's brother's priceless invention falling into the wrong hands - and they both become drawn into a world of espionage, high drama and even higher stakes.
As always, Julie's beautifully crafted and descriptive writing style is to the forefront. As a reader you always feel you're right there amongst the action, truly experiencing at every turn the whole range of emotions and sensations the characters are feeling and experiencing themselves.
This sequel to The Billionaire's Kisses is bristling with tension, plot twists and a very high steaminess count, as Julie weaves yet another intriguing and entertaining story that definitely sets the pulse beating hard and keeps you guessing right till the end.
I'd highly recommend this book - this is definitely one affair that you will never forget!

Dylan Quinlan is in London running Grafton Tech, which the brothers acquired in Book 1. Dylan enjoys the ladies but somehow, this time he picked the wife of Russian tycoon Vladimir Orlov. Natalia Orlov and Dylan are being threatened in a hotel room when the hotel manager Sarah hears the noise.
As luck would have it, Sarah is Dylan’s college girlfriend and the only one he’s truly loved. Unfortunately, sometimes life gets in the way and true love isn’t enough. Dylan had put Sarah on a plane home after graduation so that she could take care of family issues after the death of her father. They both feel like the other has walked away and neither of them is really ready to give each other a second chance.
I enjoyed the twist and turns of this story and the continuation from book 1. I would not try to read these out of order, as there’s too much back story that matters going forward. My one concern is that if you read book 1 and go straight to book 2, is that the two books felt too similar. I did read a couple of other books before going on to book 3. The similarities were not enough to take me away from the series, just remember to space them out a little more.

Mature adults!!
Dylan Quinlan was the brother that interested me the most. I really enjoyed his story. He's reckless and gets himself in trouble. Oh my favorite. His past plays a big role into shaping the man he's become. Sarah is his first and only true love. she and her love has left an imprint on his heart. She is smart, level headed and has to leave college early when her dad passes away to care for her mother. Fast forward to one of Dylan's reckless ways which happens to put him right in the the grasp of a man with a knife. This man wants to kill him because he believes he's having an affair with a married woman. now that's a great way for an old couple to get reacquainted and you get a great start to the the book. I'm a huge fan of this series and I can't wait for the next book and Julie writing. It has suspense, Quinlan family humor, and hot love scenes.

And it’s another winner for Julie Farrell! THE BILLIONAIRE’S AFFAIR features a lot of action, and not only in the bedroom! It’s super sexy and scorching hot, but very suspenseful as well; there are several plot twists I never expected. I loved the characters, even those I love to hate. People are not who they pretend to be, new relationships are formed; nothing is as it seems.
Ms. Farrell’s writing is as descriptive as ever: her attention to detail, to the settings is always spot-on. And her prose, oh her prose! She knows just how to put words together and turn them into perfect sentences, which make a perfect book. Let yourself be seduced by another Quinlan brother!

I got this one in exchange of an honest review and let me tell you its starts with aloha my god how awesome it is.From the start is was full of action and how the old lovers reconnected and it all starts anew.It full of action from all sides not only romance but suspense. There were many aspects to this book that I had no idea would be included but I loved them. I loved each character even the bad ones sometimes those are the best. Besides we each change from day to day imagine form years to years. As always Miss Farrell writes amazing work and this is also another successful one start it now you will adore it.

This is an amazing Billionaire series!. The story line is fantastic and the characters are awesome!. In this one Sarah and Dylan were young college lovers who had to part. Now years later they meet up again they are still very attracted to each other. Only Dylan has troubles with a Russian gang, and he pulls Sarah right into the middle of it!. Sarah is worried if she lets Dylan to close she will just get her heart broke again as Dylan is now a billionaire playboy. What with trouble with the Russian's , and fighting what their hearts want. This makes an amazing Romance full of suspense,action and scorching hot romance!. This is a must read book!

Dylan Quinlan has a tendency to act without thinking. For that reason he always ends up in bad situations. Sarah is more staid and level headed. Dylan was Sarah's first love but his impetuous nature is ultimately what tore them apart and sent them separate ways. Thrust back into each others lives seven years later, all the same feelings are there. Yet this time Dylan's bad decisions bring on a whole world of trouble. Suspenseful, fun and engaging entertainment. I received a copy of The Billionaire's Affair by Julie Farrell for an honest review.

ENJOYABLE, INTRIGUING BOOK!!!!!
I loved the first book, but I think this one is even better. It hooked me from the first page and I couldn't put it down. It's full of twist and turns, drama, action, steamy romance, suspense, and even a murder. I loved the chemistry between Dylan and Sarah. I thoroughly enjoyed this intriguing book and would highly recommend it. You need to read the first one too. You will love them. There is a cliffhanger, but let's hope Joseph's book comes out soon. I can't wait. I received this book as a gift for an honest review. Patsy Sacco

This book is super.
As i read the book i wondered if Dylan & Sarah will let each other into their hearts and with all the drama that is happening wonder if they will survive...
The story is well written and kept me on the edge of my seat. I honestly struggled to put the book down.
Its an amazing pove story and the characters grow as the book progress. I will recommend this book but you'll have the start from the beginning.

This Dylan and Sarah's story, the story does follow on from The Billionaire's Kisses (book 1) and The Billionaires heart (novella) so I would recommend you read both of those first.
I was hooked from the first page, I loved that this book was full of love and romance BUT it was also action packed with many twist and turns :) can't wait for book 3, Joseph's story

What an incredible book.
Julie Farrell wrote another riveting tale about the Quinlan brothers. Really had a good time reading about Sarah and Dylan and following the trail of suspense in this book. Laughed at the interaction between the brothers and I really love Joseph the youngest of the 4 brothers. Ready for book 3.
Julie Farrell wrote another riveting tale about the Quinlan brothers. Really had a good time reading about Sarah and Dylan and following the trail of suspense in this book. Laughed at the interaction between the brothers and I really love Joseph the youngest of the 4 brothers. Ready for book 3.

I'm really getting into this series by Julie Farrell. This is the 2nd in the series with a prequel (which is Free) from the author.
