Monica Garza is 34 years old and works for Direct Trust Insurance as an executive assistant to Kevin Golden. She is gradually trying the dating scene again since getting divorced from Phil but her friends don't seem to be setting her up with the right guys.
Jason McAllister is 28 years old and works in construction. He is attracted to Monica from the first moment he sees her but has his work cut out for him trying to convince her that he is interested in her for the right reasons and that their age difference is not important to him.
Yet Monica has her doubts and when her insecurities and family drama gets the better of her she turns to another man. Yet when she really hits rock bottom who will she turn to for support?
I really enjoyed this book and there were definitely a few moments that brought me to tears and other moments that I was screaming at the book. The book had many ups and downs that kept the reader interested although at times I was so frustrated with Monica and her insecurities.
I liked Monica and how hard she worked and how she truly seemed like a great character. I loved the attraction she had with Jason but at times I was so mad that she really allowed her worry about age to come through. I'd be overjoyed if I had a guy 7 years younger than me interested! Monica is extremely close to her parents and her best friend Annie and they are all there for each other when needed!
I found Monica's work situation interesting and how things with her boss Kevin were. They were great friends who seemed to share a lot yet obviously things weren't as they seemed with what happened in the book.
Jason was absolutely awesome and a total dream man! I can't believe how much he loved Monica with what he was willing to put up with until it was just too late for him. My heart broke so many times with what he put up with. Yet he was constantly there for Monica whenever she needed him.
Monica's family definitely put some twists and turns into things and I was absolutely shocked with certain things that happened and then devastated for the other event. Broke my heart for sure!
This was the first time I have read this author and I would definitely read her again!

Monica is an older woman who guards her heart and does not trust men since her finding her ex husband in bed and in the arms of another woman.
Kevin is Monica's boss and close friend. Monica has worked along side Kevin for almost fifteen years and watched him go through two divorces and is engaged again. Will he go through with marriage number three or does his heart belong to someone else?
The moment Jason laid eyes on Monica, he knew she was the woman for him. He is six years younger than Monica but age is just a number to him. On the other hand, Monica feels the big gap in their age will cause him to leave her as they both get older. They are constantly on an emotional rollercoaster ride.
Monica, once again, tries to move on and is on the brink of getting married in a few weeks to an older man. Will she finally get married and leave Jason's memories behind her?
Jason has more than once proved his undying and unconditional love to Monica but she just can't get over age difference. She has shattered his heart so many times, but he still loves her and wants her. Will Monica's marriage be the last straw? Will Jason finally get off the emotional rollercoaster ride and move on forgetting about Monica?
Unsteady Heart will keep you intrigued with its lies, deceit, family betrayals, and the undying and unconditional love that a young man has for an older woman.
I love the scene where Monica goes physco on her ex. Also, when her sister reveals a secret that she has been carrying for seven years.
This well written story was so emotionally intense at times with its twists and turns so have your tissues ready. I loved this book. I would recommend this book. I'm volunteering an honest review for an advance reader's copy.

Fantastic!!!
This story has taken me on an emotional rollercoaster of love and passion.I felt like I was watch a telenovela on tv. The drama level is high, and the family fun and niceness had me in tears of joy.
Monica had me loving her and wanting to choke her the next minute. She allowed her insecurities to control her. Sometimes we can miss something beautiful because we let our fears win.
Jason has to be the best character in this story, and I wish he was real lol
I'm claiming him as mine. He be I vs charm, joy and a loyal heart. He is very protective and understanding. He is perfect for Monica. You will fall in love with him.

Wow!! Is this really her debut book?!?! I was instantly wrapped into this beautiful story about finding your one and only and being true to your heart. I laughed and cried and mourned with these characters and couldn’t be more pleased with this book. No, seriously get started now! It is an emotional roller coaster that you will want to ride again and again!
Monie is a divorced woman who is tainted by her past and her own insecurities. Her dating life has been less than stellar and she content with being alone and tries not to think about the loneliness surrounding her. When she meets Jason, she feels things she has only hoped for, but when the doubts start creeping up she is determined to not be crushed by a man again. Will these two ever have their happily ever after?

Keira M Belle is a new author to me. This was the fist book I have read by her but it won't be the last. She has written a great modern day romance for Monica and Jason.
Monica has been through a lot and many changes in the last year. She goes betrayal and emotional turbulence, written so well, but during all of it Jason is there as a truly reliable constant presence. The question for Monica is will she let Jason in and let him be her love.
Unsteady Heart will take you through every emotion you can think of and will show you the kind of love that everyone dreams and wishes for. The characters are developed and dimensional and you will truly connect with them.
I would recommend this book to anyone.

This book was AMAZING!!!!
It has a brilliant storyline. With all the feels!!! At times it made me want laugh, cry, get angry. Like wanting to throw my tablet angry!! The characters were very well developed. Monica and Jason are just amazing.
This book does an amazing job portraying everyday struggles that most people have. Like running from what we really want because we are too scared! Well with this book Keira shows us that sometimes that is not always the best thing to do for us or our hearts

Well, I've done it again. Staying yo late in the night to finish a book. Seriously though. Jason is perfection! I love that Monica has Puerto Rican parents. I could relate to her so well. There were a few changes in the tenses, but I think it worked out. Great story. Definitely worthy of the title.

This book is amazing! Keira M Belle has written a brilliant storyline. It will toy with your emotions, make you laugh, get angry, cry and ultimately, rip your heart out!
The characters are beautifully portrayed with their everyday insecurities and doubts and their hearts full of love and willingness to love and be loved.

What a wonderful book this is. I loved and could definitely easily relate to Monica and her past year. She is stronger than she realizes and is so lucky to have Jason in her life. To say he is reliable is an understatement.

This is my first read by this author. Once I heard the female character was Puerto Rican I definitely had to read it. I was so hoping I will love it and I definitely did. I stayed up a few nights because I couldn't put this book down. Full of twist and turns to story line. Beware you will probably need some tissues.
So many times I felt like yelling at Monica and say to her go get her man. She has never healed from her past relationship. So she is so afraid for getting a broken heart that she caused both her and Jason to have a broken heart.
Monica friendship with Anna and Anthony is so beautiful. The characters are so relatable. Anyone who suffers from anxiety can totally relate with the thoughts Monica has in her head. In this book you will laugh, get upset and fall for Jason. I was warned its a emotional rollercoaster and it definitely is. I love the characters in this book and can't wait to read the next one. I recommend this read for anyone who loves a emotional rollercoaster or a rom com.

This book was not what I expected. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. The story was a little slow to start but when it picked up it picked up. The FMC is an amazing, beautiful and intelligent mid 30 woman with some internal battle she has to overcome come. The MMC is the perfect golden retriever with a small touch of shadow daddy vibes when appropriate.
There is a moment I even wanted to yell at FMC and tell her to just go get her happiness. Geeze. Like really. lol. I was glad her father thought the same thing and she listen. There was a few surprises in this book too. Needless to dat I was a bit perturbed with the FMCs father. Just like for a split second.

This book was so good!!! I love these two characters, although at times I wanted to smack Monie, like seriously,lol. I was on the edge of my seat with this, there was so much angst and love and STEAM!!!! Jason and Monie are so perfect for each other, they go through so much bull***t, but they come out on top with an H.E.A.!!!!

Speechless
Right from the start there was excitement from a dream that Monica was having and then it fell off for me and I was about to give up, I'm so glad I kept reading because this book had me shook, I was mad, happy and wanting to run a couple characters over with my car. Let me tell you, Nancy is Monica's sister and in the beginning I can honestly say if she was my sister I would have strangled her but then, Keira drops a bomb that made my heart stop, can't tell you what it is all I will say is be prepared to cry. I actually was mad at Keira for doing that to me. Monica and Jason definitely go through somethings, but in the end......I'm not going to say, you have to read it to find out! If I could give Unsteady Heart more than 5 stars I would, it is definitely a must read and Keira M Belle is definitely an author to watch!

I can't even begin to say how much I loved this book. It had me laughing and crying. My chest hurt at times from all the feelings. There is so much story in this book and I couldn't put it down. I liked Monica but I just fell in love with Jason. He just kept fighting for his happily ever after.

I absolutely love this break out author. I read this book in two days because I could not put it down. I am a Puerto Rican woman and I love the fact that I can relate so closely to Monica and her family (they even resemble some of my own family members). I cannot wait to see what other books this author comes up. She has now gained a fan for life.

This book was really good, there were some Sex scenes in this book that as a Christian I had to skip over. The first page was one of those dreams, I was shocked. But the rest of the book was really well put together. This book gave me the After series vibes . I really enjoyed Monica‘s first encounter with Jason, I thought it was cute and hilarious. For Jason’s character physically imagine him looking as exactly like the actor that plays Superman in the CW show.
Now moving on to when she went on a date with Jerry , I thinking like girllll you need to make an excuse to leave or say your going to The bathroom and never come back. But obviously there’s a reason she was there, for the story. When Jason walked in her reaction was priceless she spilled her drink on her self again.
And when she found out there that Jason was Jerry’s son. I was like this is gonna be awkward😂 . Moving on to their unofficial first date, when Monica first brought up age. I could understand where she’s coming from. I’m not as old as the character Monica but imagining myself dating someone like six years younger would make me feel like cougar too. But I personally would’ve gotten over it pretty quickly if it was the right guy. In Monica‘s case it was . I really enjoyed the first part of their relationship before they broke up.
Moving on two when they broke up, I was really upset with Monica. For letting Jerry get to her, and then start dating Kevin even though it’s obvious she has no interest in him. Then when she had a miscarriage with Jason‘s baby and didn’t tell him , I was so mad . And her nephews death mad me almost cry. And lastly I really enjoyed the ending and how they got back together !!

And lastly I really enjoyed the ending and how they got back together !!

One of the best books I've ever read. It kept my attention the entire time. Jason I fell in love with him, he is the perfect man. The author really draws you into the story I laughed and cried throughout the book! Can't wait to read more of her work!!

Let's start this off with fair warning, you will bawl during this book. Your heart will break, but not for the reason you think. Sometimes, it takes life's worst events for us to see what's in front of us.
Monica is a fiery Latina woman who's lost herself after having such little luck in love and life. She's all of us that see ourselves as plain and boring with a nasty sister pushing her. When the most beautiful man spills coffee on her while on the ferry to work, life takes twists and turns she never could have imagined and what a ride it is!!!
Jason has everything a young man could want, an extremely successful business and enough charm and looks to have every beauty in the city willing to be on his arm. That is until he spots the most gorgeous woman on the ferry that he just has to know. What he doesn't realize is Jason met the match of his lifetime.
When I started reading this, I thought it was such a nice, fun read. The characters are well written to draw you in, Monica is my spirit animal, she's my life on page. But Monica's story isn't one without pain to find what her heart needs. Kiera took tragedy and pain and turned that into a beautiful story of two souls destined to be together. Life doesn't always make things easier and sometimes we don't make things easier on ourselves either. Monica will remind you no matter how hard life can be, there will always be someone to love you until the pain subsides.
If you want a story with heart, soul and passion, Unsteady Heart is the story for you! 5/5

Unsteady Heart is more then just a cookie cutter romance. It will tug at your heart strings, and you'll find yourself rooting for Monica and Jason on more then one occasion.
Belle's debut novel is about Monica Garza, a mid-thirties women who after her divorce from her ex-husband Phil, tries to get back into the dating scene. But with the help of her friends, she is not having any luck in finding the right guy. She also works as an executive assistant at an Insurance company.
It was refreshing to read about a character like Monica. She was older, but also had her doubts when she meets Jason McAllister, a construction worker, who is six years younger then her. Jason likes Monica and is immediately attracted to her, but Monica worries about the age gap between the two, but Jason works hard to prove to her that the age difference doesn't matter to him and he likes her for all the right reasons.
Unsteady Heart shows the two's relationship, with Monica's doubts, and drama with her family, causing her to turn elsewhere.
I could understand why Monica acted the way she did, and the author did such an amazing job of making her come to life.
Jason...oh Jason. He was what every man should be like. He really, truly loved Monica, and was always there for her when she needed him.
My only warning, along with the twists and turns, is that you may need a few tissues, because this book is that good. I can't wait to read more by Keira M. Belle.

What an awesome debut novel. The storyline was engaging and the characters were relatable. There is a little bit of everything for the reader a triangle, angst, love, despair, heartbreak and strength. I’d certainly recommend picking up a copy and reading this book.
Monica lives on her own after divorcing her husband. She has a good job, great boss, a best friend who is like a sister and a loving family. Her sister Nancy can be a bit prickly, but that is just how sisters are, isn’t it. It’s one of those days and it has only just begun. If it could go wrong, it did the only moment worth remembering was those blue eyes. Monica never expected to see him again but never say never.
Jason was enchanted by her from the moment they met. He had a reputation as a player but he was taking his time to get to know her. Monica has a way about her that made him open up which he never did. It was quick, but when the heart knows the heart knows. Jason loved Monica and she loved him, enough to let him go and have the life she thought he deserved.
As they move on with their lives, their paths keep crossing. They are drawn to each other, play games and try to hurt one another. Sitting by watching Monica with someone else is heartbreaking for Jason. Both are existing in their day to day lives, looking for the elusive missing piece of their heart that they gave away.

A MUST READ!!
Wow! What an emotional roller coaster ride this book was. This book had me in tears more than once. The author really packs a punch with this book.
Monica certainly put Jason through the ringer of emotions throughout this book and dare I say at times she was cruel with his feelings (sometimes she did this unintentionally). I'm glad she sorted herself out and the ending was how I hoped it would be.
Jason is a great character and I applaud him for not getting off the roller coaster ride that Monica put him on and that he stuck with her.
This book gave me goosebumps and I couldn't stop reading it!! This book gripped me from the beginning and never let go.
I feel like Monica and Jason will remain with me for a while to come.
A book has never affected me as much as this one did. I am blown away. I cannot wait to read more from this author, especially if they are as amazing as this!!
