I believe this is my first read by Bonnie Sweets.

This boxset is a lot of fun and a fairly quick read, mostly because I didn't want to put it down. I wanted to find out what happened with the couples next.

These are all arranged real marriages, but kind with a fake marriage feel at the beginning because the couples meet as strangers.

I enjoyed all three of the stories, but Alex's might be my favorite.

Despite all these couples being married, all that's shared between them are a few swoony kisses. A clean read.

I really enjoyed the first book in the series, but this one wasn't as good for me. I didn't care for Alex as a character, felt she took the people pleasing a bit too far. Jeremy was a complete jerk! I get that he didn't really know Alex, but he also never confronted his mother with Alex's side of the story either, before Alex was forced to leave him. Alex's mother was a complete witch with a capitol B, and her actions at the end of the book didn't redeem her in my eyes. Thankfully, it was a quick read, but I'm not so sure I will be continuing the series.

Another cute one :3 but, I still need more character fleshing. They feel a little generic. I won't buy the next one unless the prices drop to 99 cents. Not a top recommendation but I'd still say give it a shot

Out of the frying pan….

Alex is in a bad place, about to marry a man not of her choosing, into a family not of her choosing, in a place not of her choosing, in a dress not of her choosing…. You get the idea. Her mom even made Alex work the day of the wedding because she needed to get her hair done for the wedding. Her best friend, Liz, has an escape for her. All she has to do is click I Do.

Alex's character is sufficiently developed. I would've liked more history of how she got into event planning, why she got out and never went back to it. Jeremy is 2-dimensional, as is Mrs Akers.

The plot, like Book 1, is centered around their careers. Thank heavens Rachel from Book 1 didn't choose Jeremy because her organizing skills wouldn't have helped him get solvent, and that might mean Alex would've chosen Logan, and her event planning wouldn't have helped him get solvent, either. I hope this lucky coincidence doesn't continue in Book 3.

The setting was lovely. Oh my goodness! North Bend is a real city near Snoqualmie! Yep, just checked Book 1, and Grangeville is a real town, too!

Do I need to read books before this one: yes, simply so you know how the wedding site works
Would I read more of the series: yes
Cliffhanger: no
POSSIBLE TRIGGERS
Sex: kisses
Language: 0 F words, 0 Lord's name in vain, 0 S words
Violence: bullying

CRITIQUE (spoilers)
How did Alex have a successful event planning business without a spine?

The resolution was too fast. Alex accepts what Tammy says without hesitation. Back at the ranch, Alex is set to go back to Arkansas, Jeremy says a few things that don't address her concerns, and voila.

How did Alex grow a spine so fast to stand up to Jeremy and Tammy like that? Why couldn't she do that to Larry, her parents, or the Burtons 3 months previous?

What does Alex fix for Jeremy? It's brought up but not mentioned again. The app doesn't play a big part in this story.

I am loving this series and it's a bit different, especially for Bonnie Paulson! As I said in book ones review, this isn't the typical romance I go for but as it's a book by Bonnie I always make sure I read them as she is a great writer and this series is so far, no exception! Oh, and there's a nod to a cowboy in this one so - yee-haw!

Alex is a feisty female who has simply had enough of being told how to live her life and who to love and so, when her wedding day doesn't turn out as everyone had planned, Alex goes online and does something completely out of character.

Jeremy is the epitome of the family man and it's his strength of character and simply how heartfelt and honest his life is that enables Alex to melt for her online cowboy and settle in for the ride!

Bonnie once again captures you up in this short story and is able to bring a sense of normality to what appears a crazy concept, but one which I guess is quite relevant in today's day and age of technology! It never takes me long to read any of Bonnie's book and for me that's the sign of a great author! I'm loving the series and anything with a cowboy in gets my vote...hehehe! I can't wait to see what book three, DIY Vows brings!

Bonnie R Paulson has got to be one of the best authors out there!!! Her writing abilities are amazing!!!

IDo.com is the second book in the ClickandWed.com series. This book picks up where With This Click, I Thee Wed left off. I love the way that Bonnie writes about real life situations and even brings in the new aspects of on-line dating. I don't write spoilers -- but OMG these books are amazing and are the type that you have to read from start to finish because they are that good!!! I also like the fact that she can write a really good love story without having to put in all the sex and other stuff.

OH - and guess what -- there really is a webpage of ClickandWed.com -- and it has Logan's and Rachels information from the first book. You got to check it out!!!

LOVED IT!

I can commiserate with Alex....my first mother-in-law was a very sweet woman who wanted her son to be happy. After he died, I remarried, and his mother was the Wicked Witch of the West!. She didn't like me because I was a little (5) years older than her son, I was from a different part of the country, and I was of a different religious faith and would not convert. The rest of his family welcomed me with open arms. So this story really resonated with me. Alex was a real Trojan throughout. This author is amazingly prolific, and this book is very sensitively written. It is well worth the read AND the re-read! Do yourself a favor and purchase it. You'll be glad you did.

Alex folks had her working whenever they needed someone, and no time clock used, she was tired of it all. Her mother had to get ready that day for my wedding, and I was working. Heading toward the church she notices the quote for the day “” are you doing what you want or just for others”.
Alex tired of jumping through the hoops to please everyone, a last minute act, she leaves it all at the altar. A call telling there was package under the bed,,fifteen minutes, and a taxi will be waiting, and your happiness.
She turned the pad on and swipe post-it saying I Click I Do. Her best friend had come thru for her. What laid ahead would be better than what she had been doing.

I do.com

I like the premise of the clock and wed.com series. This is a sweet contemporary romance. The arranged marriage of Alex and Jeremy is handled via a matchmaking website. I like arranged marriage stories. I struggled with this story because Alex is narrating and it goes on like s monologue with a sprinkle of dialogue with the other characters. I think the book would be better if it was told from a two person point of view. All in all it’s a quick and sweet read with a happy ever after ending.

I purchased ClickandWed.com Series book 2: IDo.com by Bonnie R. Paulson and this review was given freely.
Forced into an arranged marriage, former events planner and photographer Alex leaves her controlling abusive parents and overbearing groom at the altar to find solace through marrying Jeremy via ClickandWed. Only she finds herself with a man who listens to his controlling mother-in-law and a non functioning dude ranch. Another poignant romance by Bonnie R. Paulson with another strong female character and with a happy ending.

Drawn by the odd notion of online marriage then meeting, I started reading book one. Oh how glad I am that I did - I enjoyed it so much I carried on to book two.
This book has all the great characters: sympathetic heroine, bad parents, distracted handsome hero, wicked mother/in-law…who combine to tell a story fraught with lies, despair, and cruelty. Thankfully the road to true love eventually smooths out.
Sure there are flaws but these are more in the fairy tale genre than straightforward contemporary romance, and so can be forgiven.
Highly recommended.

Let down

Rubythroated hummingbirds do not live in Washington State; Arkansas is very much more humid than Washington except during the rainy season. These kinds of errors could be excused pre-internetbut are signs of sloppy workmanship and a disdaon for the reader that is exacerbated by poor editing. I will never buy another Paulson book, I will not reward this kind of disrespect for pne's craft and one's customers.

I enjoyed the first novel in the clickandwed series. This was a disappointment. Alex’s parents are ridiculous. Okay. Then his mother is a lying, witchy woman. But it all goes away in just a few pages? The book was both choppy and rushed. There was no real resolution. Everything was completely awful, then it was okay, without conflict. I have the third book. Hopefully, it’s closer to the first and I’ll enjoy it.

Communication people! In almost every story out there, almost all the problems could be prevented or solved by just talking to each other. Also, whether it’s a friend or family member, don’t just automatically take one person’s side of the story as fact. I liked the story in general, but the fact that he just assumed everything his mother told him was the truth without getting Alex’s side of the story was really annoying.

I am so falling in love with this series. I feel for Alex as I’m a bit of a people pleaser but I wasn’t ever in Alex’s situation. Her bravery in finally standing up for herself was inspiration. If you’ve read book 1 you’ll know Jeremy has waited quite a while for his match so read book 2 and see how they navigate their journey. Love it!

Really liked this story.... Although I. Couldn't quite understand the mother-in-laws attitude toward Alex, the whole story came together well. I happen to love these kind of stories and it met with al most all of my criteria for a interesting story all the way through..... Didn't fast forward at all.... Lol

Groom #1 or Groom #2, how is a Bride to choose?

Will an on-line match be better than the horrible match arranged by Alexandra's parents? Or has this runaway bride gone from the frying pan into the fire?

QUAINT AND HAPPY EVER AFTER

This writer's story telling continues to be outstanding. This second book is both quirky and very entertaining. Once again there are two people who come together to follow their hopes and dreams; and hopefully find their happy ever after

Interesting girl

An interesting story of who was used by her family to manage some of their businesses or fill in as an employee. She left their pre-arranged wedding & escaped to a western state.
A clean story

Understanding the difference between mother in law or monster in law

In the beginning, Tammy is the typical mother in law that one reads about. The baggage we bring to new relationships can just about sink any new one. Thank goodness, they figure it out before it’s too late.

Nice

Tough start to this book. I have to feel sorry for the brides in the series so far. Families that show no love or support for their daughters. People who are not sensitive to other's feelings are hard to accept. I am glad for the happy ending.

Loved this online proxy wedding. After almost marrying the man her parents were forcing her to marry, her friend helps her realize she can make her own decisions. Change her life, direction. Great story, new beginnings.❤️

At first it was hard to get into- Alex was such a people pleaser and I’m glad to see in the end how it ended. Jeremy’s mom was an absolute horrible person, but it was part of the story. Loved Elizabeth! Can’t wait to read her story
