The first book was read to my class in primary school, and I’m still moving this series as an adult. The poetic, mysterious, fourth wall breaking of author Lemony Snicket makes this series a truly unique read as we follow the unfortunate lives of the Baudelaire children through 13, 13 chapter books.

Engaging reads that are simultaneously bubbling and dark. The series teaches the hard lesson that life is not required to answer all of your questions or solve all of your problems, even if you are the cute, innocent, child protagonist of a world-famous book.
