No one crosses Jerry Windham and gets away with it. Not even a woman as shrewd as Patricia Campbell. After uncovering this man’s dreadful secrets about women reported missing, she ran. Even two years later, she can't get rid of the thought that he'll never stop looking for her. He’d do anything to see her dead, or worse. Unaware of the FBI’s search for her to learn what information she might hold, she continues to hide. A new look, a new city and job, fearful thoughts suppressed, Patricia moves on. Three new men enter this beautiful woman’s life. A persistent computer technician, a charming philanthropist, and a handsome, wealthy businessman who wants to marry her. But her fears resurface, and she wonders if she can trust any of them. Having rejected God in her college days, Patricia believes He would not listen to her now. All she wants is to change and have a normal life. Will she put her trust in God? Can she survive long enough to find peace…and perfect love?

My time is spent doing a lot of things I've always wanted to have the time to do, including several hours daily writing stories about people who discover (as I have) that God will only allow those things into your life that will help you grow and/or increase your faith.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14
At the age of twelve years old, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior and have never been disappointed that I did. He has been with me through trials and tribulations, most of which I brought on myself. Never once have I felt that He deserted me or doesn't love me.
In my writing, I try to bring out the love of God and truth from His Holy Word. I hope that my stories will be a blessing to you.

There can be little doubt that we have all had our selfish moments in life. Times where we have put our own wants and desires above all else. It is perfectly normal to be that way at times. In fact, many would say it is even quite healthy. However, what if someone was always selfish and self-centered? Ensuring their own whims and pleasures were satisfied on a daily basis at the expense of all else. That could hardly be construed as acceptable behavior! In her book His Perfect Love, author Sharon K. Connell presents just such a scenario. For those readers who are searching for top quality Christian Romance fiction which delivers an exciting and suspenseful storyline...look no further!
Essentially, the novel focuses upon the trials and tribulations of the main character, Patricia Campbell. She is an opportunistic "gold-digger" who has subsisted in life by ensnaring men with her good looks and charm. However, as the novel begins it reveals that she has clearly crossed the wrong man this time. Jerry Windham is as crooked and heartless as they come. When Windham is betrayed by Patricia he vows to reap his vengeance. She soon finds herself on the run from not only Windham, but also from the FBI who are looking to question her for information which she may hold in regards to her former boyfriend. No longer knowing who she can possibly trust, Patricia's plight forces her to face up to her past selfish decisions and life choices. Having abandoned her faith long ago, Patricia begins to find her way back to God and her spiritual being. However, her ruthless pursuers are right on her trail and her selfish life choices may have finally caught up to her.
I have not read a lot of Christian romances lately, and I must admit that I was very pleased with just how well-written this book is. Christian romances basically have the same characteristics and elements as other romance novels. They possess great characters, captivating plots, interesting conflict and a convincing hero and heroine who truly engage the reader. They also have elements of faith and God which are seamlessly weaved throughout the story. What they do not have are explicit sexual scenes, overt violence or language which some may find offensive. Ms. Connell meets all these criteria in spades!
The overriding theme of this novel for this reader is that it is never too late to change your life. This motif is presented and explored with a very engaging and exciting storyline. It is full of action, suspense and mystery as the reader virtually tags along with Patricia on her journey. In fact, there are so many twists and turns in the plot that it really kept me guessing right up until the end of the novel. I found myself wondering the same things and having the identical doubts as Patricia. That is engagement!
The importance of character development to any work of fiction should never be underestimated. It is critical! When we are considering romance novels, this fact is amplified even further. They are quite frequently character driven work. While His Perfect Love has an enthralling plot, the development of the various characters is equally superlative. While there are a number of minor characters who are described in good detail, we obviously see the most development in Patricia and Sean. For instance, with the help of God, Patricia transforms from a selfish and manipulative woman into a more kind and caring individual. It is safe to say that Patricia experiences dramatic growth throughout the duration of the novel and the reader is with her every step of the way!
Overall, this is an excellent novel which I found to be thoroughly charming. As it is a Christian romance there are no sexual scenes or explicit language. As such, it would be suitable for virtually any audience.
I really enjoyed this book! It wasn’t what I expected, based on the cover; in fact it was better than I expected. Very hard to put down. The narrative was exciting, and the touch of mystery really added to the plot. I also appreciated how the author handled God in the narrative. It wasn’t preachy, even though there were some serious topics covered.
Patricia Campbell moves in with her mother to flee from the dangerous Jerry Windham. When she realizes he's found her she runs again, only this time she takes her mother with her. This romantic suspense novel will keep you guessing at every turn. Sharon K. Connell has done a great job with this one.
Author Sharon K Connell did a brilliant job of portraying Patricia Campbell as a shallow, callous woman whose only pursuit in life is rich men, and then growing her into a likeable character for whom the reader can root as she distances herself from a killer. I did not like Patricia at the beginning of the story, but I was rooting for her as the story progressed. Patricia has spent three years on the run from a former boyfriend after learning of his involvement in human trafficking. He wants Patricia dead and will pay any price necessary to eliminate her. Going to law enforcement for help is not a viable option because Jerry Windham has cronies everywhere, even in the police department. The author’s choice of title is also brilliant. Patricia discovers God and learns that God’s perfect love casts out fear. She also discovers that perfect love between a man and a woman is not measured by wealth. However, those discoveries will not help Patricia unless she can shake the hired killer off her trail.
Seeing private things,on the run, find God and love
I really enjoyed this book From Patricia finding something she shouldn't have seen Getting out of a bad situation being on the run . Meeting 3 different men1 who had lots of money and Was sort of engaged toTo a man she thought had money But it was not what she thought and 3rd somebody who is the she thought she should not want to be with her What was drawn to. Her being on the run. She was caught by the bad guy but in the end the agent helped her in more ways. That's just a small overview it's a really good book I could barely put it down to go to sleep at night It only took me a couple of days to read it And I do believe that god can change things in your life
Quite the lengthy novel about a young flighty attractive woman who comes to learn too much in one of her past relationships. To protect herself, she takes off but because of finances finds herself taking refuge with her mostly estranged mother in the Chicago area while employed as a secretary, avoiding any past encounters in the large metropolitan area. Yet, her nemesis finds her, hiring a hit man while a disguised FBI agent attempts to get close through a computer assignment to solicit info on this man. Much running and hiding until she comes across a past college room mate whom she did not treat well who protects her at a local mission where she finds Christ. Clean mystery drama recommended for those who enjoy this genre.
I have enjoyed each book I have read by this author, and this one was no exception. I was pulled into Patricia's story from the first pages as she is running for her life to escape someone that is out to kill her. It certainly kept me reading and guessing to see if she could trust any of the men she connects with the story. I also felt her frustration and the battle she fought as struggled to regain her trust in her Heavenly Father. This is a story with wonderful characters and a story line that I thoroughly enjoyed and definitely recommend. I am certainly looking forward to this author's next book.
His Perfect Love is a story with lots of suspense, adventure, and romance. I must say that in the beginning, I didn't like Patricia very much due to her loose lifestyle and lack of Christian ethics. However, there is hope for everyone and towards the end, her character changed.
There were a few surprises and twists which made the book not only interesting but suspenseful. I found myself trying to figure out what would happen next and it definitely kept me turning the pages. The Christian aspect was weaved into the storyline nicely and I enjoyed following Patricia's growth in coming to the Lord.
Patricia’s bad choices have forced her to run for her life. When three men show an interest in her, she doesn’t know who she can trust. This story is filled with suspense, some romance, and a satisfying ending. Patricia’s priorities were all out of whack. It was nice to see her character finally change. I enjoyed several of the side characters, especially her mother. The mother-daughter relationship was one of my favorite parts of the story. Beware, the book will keep you up into the night.
The formatting for His Perfect Love is rather rough—certainly not what I have come to expect of a Kindle book. Nonetheless, the plot flows smoothly. If you like to read mysteries, this book is indeed mysterious.
This is my first time reading a book by this author and it won't be my last! I could hardly put it down. It kept me on the edge of my seat. The characters were complex and so "human".
Fast paced easily read in a day. Some spots slow down and the main character has a backstory not understood until later. The Christian aspect is dropped in almost unexpectedly but for a good light and clean suspense, I found it enjoyable.
Ah who can love Patricia? Certainly NOT me lol. She's conceded, arrogant, and believes the world rises and sets for her beauty. So it doesn't surprise me that a wrathful man named Jerry is after her. This story is well written and reminded me a lot of a cozy mystery. There's the lovely Patricia so guy crazy you almost forget a hit is taken out on her. This is a clean read with some goofy goings on such as: a loony dog, hilarious twins, and a couple reminding me of the Brady's. No that's not a bad thing. There's genuine kindness and love in this story that can only be attributed to the body of Christ. Beyond the pages of the snowy egret, you will find much romance, some suspense, and how His Perfect Love works some things out- no spoilers here.
