About the author

My writing journey started with an old fashioned typewriter. When my family brought it home, I knew what I wanted to do. All those stories rolling around in my head could finally get out. The press and click of the keys were satisfying in their own right, but when I pulled out a finished page, I knew this was for me. Since then, I 've graduated to a laptop, but the stories still find a way out.

I'm a breast cancer survivor, a teacher, a wife, a mother, and a writer. Nowadays, I strive for less procrastination and more tact. The battle wages on.

Good book

I really enjoyed reading more of Cara and Finn. Cara still has her secrets and Finn is trying to help without pushing her away. It's hard when Cara trusts no one. She has her reasons. Gambrol is after her and a stone. The stone is suppose to be magical but what are his intentions for it? A stalker and weird bird show up and she is even more confused. Evie and Dane are awesome characters and favorites of mine. I can't wait till their baby is born. I really connected with everyone in the story.

Cara and Finn's story is part of tge "Magic and Mayhem Series", it's hilariously funny and whenever Cara says the word "lucky" something literally blows up. She's there to steal a stone tgat will supposedly break her curse, Finn is the werepanther hired by Evie to keep that from happening and worse ... Cara and Finn are mates !! Stealing the stone is Cara's only choice, if she doesn't succeed, her brother will die. See the hijinks Cara goes thru to steal the stone and keep her mate !! Lots of fun to be had in Assjacket !!! 4⭐'s I received a gifted copy of the book and am voluntarily choosing to leave an honest and unbiased review.

Most people suffer from one curse but she has two!

Terrific. She has lived under a curse her whole life and now her loyalty to her "brother" has left her under another. Captured she is given one option - steal what he wants or her brother's life is forfeit. Agreeing this puts her back in contact with some people from her past. Can she pull this job off? What will it cost her? Will she and her brother ever know freedom and be curse free. Terrific plot, tightly woven that has characters from book 1 included. Characters that are full and vivid. Great little series.

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...

1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.

2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.

3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.

4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.

5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.

I won this book through an author event. It is the first book that I have read from this author. I really liked this story. At times it got a little boring for me and I skimmed over the hot sex scenes,I'm 60, been there done that,lol. But once there were more characters brought into the story,it became much more fun to read. I liked the variety of the unusual and quirky characters. I would definitely like to read more about them. Good fun and fast read.

I enjoyed reading this book. I was rooting for Cara the whole time, willing her to do the right thing. This HEA really pleased my heart!

A curse was placed on Carrasandra Reed when she was a baby and she has had to do things that she doesn’t like doing all her life. In order to break the curse Cara must find a stone that belongs to a witch in Assjacket, West Virginia. The only way Cara knows to do this is to fake having amnesia but her plans may not work as this one guy a panther/shifter Finn doesn’t trust her.

Cara is very determined to find the stone, take it and leave but this is turning out to be one difficult task to complete as she gets to know Evie, Celia, Liz and Finn she is not sure she can go through with hurting them to save herself. But the choice may be taken from her hands anyway when she can’t find the stone. What is a girl to do?

Cara is a very strong person with a very big heart for someone who has grown up with a curse on her head. Cara has had a hard time dealing with her curse when it comes to doing things she knows is not right or will hurt someone in the end. She is learning to listen to her heart more.

You know I have enjoyed reading about Cara and her curse and how she has learnt to go past her curse to feel and think for herself and not let the curse control her life completely, to tell her what is right and wrong in her heart.

Show Me the Wicked has been a very enlightening experience in some ways. I like the idea that a “curse” can control people to an extent but when the heart becomes involved then it is not so easy to control them anymore. Not that I ever agreed with it but I like the concept which can be an eye opener to some; that we can overcome some things that we are taught.

Show Me the Wicked has been refreshing and an eye opener and I would like to recommend it to anyone who loves to read about witches and paranormal creatures with a little humor and a little love on the side.

This book was funny. This is the 2nd book in the With Hearts Series but this is also part of the Magic & Mayhem Kindle World series which I love. Cara is cursed at birth & later she is given a 2nd curse. The first curse Everytime some says good "luck" catastrophe strikes and she gets hurt. So she is basically bribed to go to Assjacket to steal a Hara which stone which will release her from the curse. The problem with this is she knows the person she has to steal it from and that person Evie, is a good person. She only steals from bad people, the 2 problem is that the security person for Evie turns out Cara is his mate and the last problem is if she doesn't do this con and steal the stone something bad will happen to her brother and may die from the curse. This is quite the story. Fast paced and fun to read. Love it!
