Dr. Bexley Vaughn is a genius at the top of her field. When she’s invited to apply her cutting-edge science to help the Memphis Knights football team return to its winning legacy, she jumps at the chance to work with two of the biggest names in the game. What she doesn’t expect is to fall hard and fast for both the veteran quarterback Paxton Davies and Dean Kincade, the eager young rookie looking to replace him. When things spiral out of control both on and off the field, Bexley will have to decide whether to risk it all on an impossible gamble, or to walk away and leave what’s left of her heart on the field.
The only thing she knows for certain is that, sometimes, finding love means re-writing the playbook.

*Double Coverage is a stand alone sports romance novel featuring a steamy love triangle and HEA. There is NO menage or M/M romance. Just two hot quarterbacks and the woman torn between them.

SJ Noble writes sexy, sassy romances with hunky heroes and bad ass ladies. She is the love child of authors June Stevens Westerfield and Sherry D. Ficklin, who have often lamented that between the two of them they are one amazing writer. Their debut series, The Memphis Knights Football Romance Novels, was born of Sherry’s deep and abiding love for football and June’s deep and abiding patience with her nonsense. They have been friends and partners in crime for most of the 21st century and plan to continue that streak well into their Life Alert years. They live worlds apart because, they suspect, that much awesome in one concentrated area *could* produce some sort of time-altering worm hole.
That’s just science, folks

So, this book is about a love triangle. Period.
It doesn't try to make a secret of that fact, nor does it pretend to be something it's not, and I loved it all the more for that.

If you truly, absolutely, utterly loathe, despise, hate love triangles with a passion, this book obviously won't be for you.
If you don't care too much for but can tolerate them from time to time if they're well executed, like me, you might end up enjoying this a lot.
If you love the angst that comes with a love triangle, well, what are you waiting for?

I never thought that would ever happen, but I'm girl-crushing hard on a heroine that's maintaining a love triangle. Now, how did that happen?
I just love a heroine with a healthy self-confidence, a filterless mouth on her and honesty in spades. And I think it's the latter that made Bex leading on two great guys so much more bearable to me - that she kept communicating her intentions clearly from the first second. Her inner voice probably helped a lot, too. This wasn't as angsty a read as you might expect from a classic love triangle. It was fun, sexy and easy to digest most of the time.

Then there were Paxton and Dean, two gorgeous, easy-going hunks of football players practically falling at her feet and competing for her attention (in case you're wondering: Team Paxton ftw!).
It was impossible not to care.

The only thing that kinda irked me and made me withdraw a star, was the ending.

Other than that, though: thumbs up and Kudos for making me enjoy a love triangle that much!

Wow! Double Coverage is HOT! I mean Bexley has the two hottest football players on the time competing for her attention! BUT when it comes to deciding between the two, how does she choose? I know I couldn't. I really enjoyed reading Double Coverage, it was a love triangle that I needed, of course love triangles are my faves to read. I really loved how different Dean and Paxton were from one another as well, although Dean was my fave. There was just something about his character that called to me. Once I started reading Double Coverage I couldn't put it down, I read it all in one sitting. I needed to know what was to come of each turn of the page. SJ Noble did not disappoint, and I can not wait to read the sequel in A Memphis Knights Football Romance. This is one book you def need to read!

I have mixed feelings about this book, especially the ending, but overall, I thought it was a great read with a good storyline. It's the story of a woman trying to follow her heart, yet her heart wants two men.

Dr. Bexley Vaughn is a team doctor for the Memphis Knights, a pro football team. However, she's not just a regular ol' doctor, she's some super genious who has developed a way to help the team win games by using video, social media posts and science. It was really quite intriguing to hear how she used this to assist the team (and it actually made sense). Not only is she intelligent, but she's a food and beer loving 26 year old that speaks her mind and attracts people with her personality. So, definitely not what you'd expect.

Paxton Davies is a quarterback legend in the league and is trying to salvage at least one more year of his career. He wants to go out on top and he's hoping Bex can help him do so. Bex has had a crush on Paxton since she was a teen (he's 12 years older than her), so when she meets him in real life, she wants to go all fan girl, but suppresses the urge. Paxton is married to his wife Debbie and has been since right after high school, so this means that any relationship Bex hopes to have is off limits...or so we think.

Dean Kincade is the cocky rookie quarterback on the team that is too handsome for his own good and needs to improve his persona so that he doesn't drop out of the league before his time. He's battling with Paxton to win the starting spot on the roster, so he regularly meets with Bax as well to try and improve his game.

Bex ends up having a relationship with both men, but not at the same time. They both know that she's seeing someone else, but Dean has no clue that the other person is Paxton. Of course, Bex has to go and fall for both men, so now she's really in a tough position, trying to figure out which one she wants to be with long-term. It's not an easy predicament - Paxton is married after all (but in an open marriage).

I'm not sure how I felt about Bex with Paxton. I mean there was no denying the attraction and he was incredibly sweet and attentive (and who knew he would turn out to be a bit forward and aggressive in bed), the perfect guy essentially. But I'm not sure if I liked the idea of a married man having a relationship with another woman, even if he did have an open marriage with his wife for a long time. This bothered me a bit, but I did like them together and could see them having a long future together, IF he divorced his wife.

I felt bad for Dean. I mean he really loved Bex and yet he knew she was also sleeping with someone else. He was incredibly sweet as well and didn't push her. He turned out to be a much better character than I expected and became my favorite.

What annoyed me was Bex feeling as though it was okay to lead both men on and honestly, it felt as though she was cheating on the both of them the entire time, even if they knew there was someone else. She knew they both loved her and wanted a relationship with her, yet she didn't step back and think it through to see how that would work. It just rubbed me the wrong way and honestly at the end, I thought that she'd end up with neither man the way things were going.

I won't give away the ending, but it honestly surprised me - I didn't see it coming, that's for sure. I wish we had been given an epilogue and a look into the future to see how it all worked out a year or two down the road. I still find it a bit unbelievable and was hoping to get some reassurance as to how the dynamics worked. I look forward to reading the next book though and hope it will include some glimpses into Bex's life in the future.

I LOVE this series and it is only book 1 - I can't wait for the next 50 or so to come!!! I feel like the author's love of the game comes straight through the pages of this book - and even though I am not a major football fan, I was able to easily follow the story, enjoy the story and SWOON over the players! The author really brings them to life and the reader has no trouble at all picturing them or their super hot bodies....

Oh, yeah, the plot is really good too! I love the way that Bexley is a bit studious and isn't too sure of what is going on around her, but she can't ignore the chemistry she feels....meanwhile the super hot guys are clamoring for her attention...enter a contract and her life feels like it is falling down around her. This book will have you on the very edge of your seat frantically turning the pages of the book while also fanning yourself because of the, yep you guessed it, super hot guys. Be careful to wipe the drool from your mouth when you read this one because it is a scorcher!

Another amazing read and a must read author! Do your self a favor and save the date because you want to grab this as soon as it is released! You won't be sorry and you will be re-reading this one over and over...

OMG you all want to save the date when this is released because you do not want to miss this one.

First off I love football one of my favorite sports and I felt this author has the same feelings about the sport, because I felt it in every word of this book.

Bexley is studious smart girl and is getting attention from 2 of the hottest football players around. I loved both the men even though they are quite different I loved each of them differently. This book is a scorcher and was full of suspense that just made me want to keep turning the pages.

I look forward to the next one in this series!!! If you like hot sports romances then go ahead one click it when it comes out you will not be disappointed!!

Choices Are Never Easy

DOUBLE COVERAGE is the first novel in S.J. Noble's Memphis Knights Football Series, it also is the first collaboration by two wonderfully sassy women. This is the story of one woman and her love for two men. Bexley Vaughn is the team doctor for the Memphis Knights, and has fallen for two of its players - vetera Paxton Davies and rookie Dean Kincade.

I won't give away any of the storyline that occurs between these three wonderful characters - to do so would be to spoil the story. Suffice to say, it is not your run-of-the-mill romantic triangle. Both men know another exists - but they do not know who - with tht mystery, i was kept on the edge of my seat throughout.

Double Coverage is most definitely a hot, sexy read that will keep you warm on a cool night. The finish did completely throw me - I just wasn't expecting that. I look forward to reading more books in this series.

This book was a well written love triangle that was easy to read. I finished the book within a couple or so hours.
I liked how the author was able to write a leading lady that was strong and independent. Bex was able to handle the inner struggle of the triangle fairly well. She wasn't portrayed as a cry in the corner type girl. She knew what she wanted and stuck to her guns.
I was a little irked by the ending. Even though the book isn't technically a clifthanger and is written as a stand alone I felt cheated on the ending. For me, I was brought to a part in the book that could have gone on multiple ways but was just left dangling. I wanted to know if Bex was able to make a final decision or if they continued on with the proposal or did they come to a conclusion to do a menage. I felt cheated.
Overall, I enjoyed the book. Pretty evident since I finished it in one sitting.
