There's something about fame and fortune that's attractive, but it always comes at a price and Ms. Lewis does a great job of portraying the hardships of being a rock star. I love the connection Kynley still has to her roots, but that lure is strong. A tantrum from a band member throws Dalton, Kynley's friend's brother, into the spotlight, and the chemistry that sprouts between these two is palpable, leaping off the pages.

The style and plot were very intriguing to me and I couldn't fly through the pages fast enough, yet I didn't want it to end either. And can I just say? I totally want to here this band's music! I love the descriptions of the songs and style (both music and fashion) and could totally picture it.

This has been such a fun series and I loved reading about yet another girl from camp. I love the twists that are put into each story and really enjoyed this one from start to finish.

Content: mild romance

I really enjoyed this quick enjoyable romance. I reminds us that we need to be ourselves and not become something else for popularity sake.

Rock Star Romance

This was one of those books that jumped to life. I don't have a very vivid imagination, but this book was like a movie. I could actually picture it, and it would be an awesome movie! It stayed in my head while I had to do mundane things like the dishes.

I loved Kynlie, and her band, Jilted Storm! Another great addition to the Billionaire Bride Pact Series. I really enjoyed that the story started at a wedding, one in which the bride broke the pact, and we got to witness her penalty.

Romance, clean
This was a beautiful read! Loved the setting in the music industry, the band, the two main characters. Loved the dilemma facing the h, and how the H made his final decision.
Will write a more detailed review later. This seemed very real, love honest, genuine characters, adn true hearts. Great story with lots of clean chemistry!

Soak tub, candles, and reading the newest Billionaire Bride Pact romance seemed like the perfect end to a long, cold day. The Glamorous One downloaded onto iPad, che...ck... ‘“I, Kynley Jane Salvatici, do solemnly swear, that someday I’ll marry a billionaire...OR I will have to sing the Camp Wallakee song (with the bird calls) at my wedding.” Chapter One The surf foamed...’ Somewhere in the middle of chapter THREE (Erin & Matt’s wedding!!!) the bubble bath got started and the candles lit. Fortunately, I didn’t notice the water getting cold until the epilogue.

Each time I read the next of the Billionaire Bride Pact series, I SWEAR it’s my new favorite. The Glamorous One hold true to form. I love the themes running through the book of love, loyalty, and being true to who God made you to be. This is one of those books that you walk into and find yourself a bit disappointed at the end to realize, well, it’s the end. The character’s feel so real, you want to introduce them to your friends, but, um... they’re characters in a book-NOT real people! ;-)
I heartily recommend this book. The Glamorous One has a great storyline with a wonderful moral, and amazing characters that carry you away into their story.

I loved this one! The storyline, the characters, the setting, the music! (I could practically hear the music in my head.) Kynley and Dalton, what can I say? They had chemistry and it was great to see how they interacted with each other. I like that we got Erin's brother's story (It's fitting that she started off the series and the series ends with him, we came full circle!) And we finally get to hear the Camp Wallakee song (with the caws) :-)

After reading 10 books in this series by two different authors, I have to say that I like Jeanette Lewis' writing a bit better than Cami Checketts (even though they're both good authors!) I will definitely be reading more of their work.

I have really enjoyed the books in this series. Each one is different with characters who have very different life's and personalities. I love music so of course this book caught my attention. Kynley and Dalton were so much fun to read about. Kynley is trying to balance wanting to make it big in the music industry and being true to herself and her music. Dalton is Kynley's voice of reason. His love of music helps him connect to her and help her see what she really wants and what will really make her happy. This is a love story of true soul mates.

Kynley and Dalton

Loved these two characters from the beginning. Kynley is an up-and-coming rockstar. Dalton is a talented musician wearing business clothes and learning the family business. It's the last place he wants to be. Little does he know that his sister's wedding is going to change the course of his life and make all of his dreams come true.

A great read

I loved this book! Kinley and Dalton come together with a chance meeting, in this sweet, clean romance. But, is the price of fame too high, are fulfilled dreams worth compromising your principles? Or risk the dream and stay true to yourself? Read it and find out! A fun page turner!

This is one of my favorite books in this series. Maybe my favorite. It flew by for me. I liked both characters. They seemed much more real than some of the others. The story seems much more genuine too.

I loved this book! The whole thing reflects the attitude I have always had about being famous so that was good! Kynley and Dalton had such a great story. I love how they bonded and had so much in common. I think this is the only one of the set with a different ending. Can't say what or I'll spoil it. This whole series was beyond amazing and I am sad to see them end. Loved them all!

Note: I was gifted this book but all opinions are my own

One summer, at Camp Wallakee, a group of girls made a pact. They each swore to marry a billionaire. If they didn’t? Well, then they would have to sing the camp song (complete with bird calls) at their wedding, with no explanation whatsoever. What side of the pact will Kynley Salvatici end up on?

Ahhh! I loved this book! It was such a fun read! It seemed to have an energy of it’s own. The characters jumped off the page and seemed so real. I could feel Kynley’s struggle between what she thought she wanted and who she was. I loved Dalton’s goodness and moral character and the way he brought everyone together. The band was made up of great guys, and I loved Gabbi!

The book was well researched and very well written. The atmosphere of each scene was palpable. I felt like I was there with the characters. I love feeling like I’m the fly on the wall. :)

It was great to see Erin and Matt again! And I’m glad to know that the girls really do carry through with the “punishment” for breaking the pact. Just thinking about the confused looks that would have been shared between guests made me laugh.

I love this series! I feel like anytime I pick up one of the books, I can set the world aside for a while, and just relax and enjoy. As far as I’m concerned, the series can go on indefinitely!

I received a copy of the book from the author. I have given my honest opinion.

Refreshing, heartfelt and original! Jeanette Lewis has put together a novel that will entertain you and make you think if some dreams are really worth loosing yourself for. The Glamorous One is a short novel but it never felt cropped and never seemed to be lacking detail, character development, or plot. If you have not read the other books in the series, don't worry, you just won't know a few of the characters in a couple scenes.

The Glamorous One is clean, Entertaining, and with a wonderful message, I would recommend this book to teens on up.

This was a great romance which was clean and sweet. Just when you think you know what you want in life, you find out that wasn't what you wanted after all.

Finding love while making music helps two people discover that fame and fortune is not always whAt you expected. Learning being happy in what you do helped them discover the peace of following your heart.

The Glamorous One: A Billionaire Bride Pact Romance Book 10 is by Jeanette Lewis and Cami Checketts. It is the final book so far in this series. I hope they intend to write two more books to include all twelve girls who made the pact. The girls made a pact at Camp Wallakee where they decided to marry billionaires and life happily ever after. If one of them didn’t, she would have to sing the camp song at her reception with no explanation.
Kynley Salvatici had finally made her dream come true. She was filming a video of her band’s new song. However, she wasn’t finding the video filming to be pleasant. It was freezing and she was in the water. To make matters worse, her band members were angry with their manager Sebastian. What they didn’t know was they were going to be mostly cut out of the video. Kynley thought she was doing the best for the band; but was she?
Dalton Parker wished his sister, Erin, well on her marriage. As long as she was happy, he would be too. As the oldest, he felt a duty to look after his little sister. Dalton had wanted to play in a band and make music his career; but he was expected to go into the business with his Father, so he was now in marketing and was not happy. At least Erin would be happy with her career and Matt. When Kynley walked in, he thought he recognized her but couldn’t place her. When she joined the other girls of the pact, he knew who she was. He made a point to dance with her before Erin called him up to play for her wedding.
Kynley left the reception without saying goodbye to Dalton as he was playing. However, she thought about him. When she found out her rhythm guitar player had quit, she insisted they hire Dalton. He was definitely good enough to play with the band for at least one concert. Would he be good enough for the concert and for Kynley? Would Sebastian manage to get rid of him?
This book is definitely one of the best in the series.

Another great book that starts when a group of girl campers at Camp Wallakee make a pact. Each girl swears to marry a billionaire or sing the camp song complete with bird calls at their reception with no explanation at all. Kynley is a rock star, the kind that makes music but she’s behind the break up of her band because she’s hired an unscrupulous manager. Dalton gets the chance of a lifetime when she picks him for guitar. This books is not my favorite of the series but an excellent read no less. You fall in love with the characters and hope for their success. This is book 10 in the series, but it stands alone. Great weekend diversion.

Love it

I am loving this series. This story felt a bit different. The camp girls are not really much of the story. Choices and life goals are a big part of the book. Both of the main characters have compromised and made choices that they regret. Together they work toward change. I like the idea that it is never too late to change. I am glad I took the time to read this one!
