I endeavoured to do one a day, but played catch up often. I liked the variety of information, although perhaps too much attention to hockey. Some snippets I found led me down the internet rabbit hole to find out more.

The presentation was appealing.

Fun fact: this book was written by my workplace Historica Canada!

'Canada 365' was a fun book to read. The reader can read about important anniversaries of events in Canadian history, big like the capture of Vimy Ridge or small like the founding of the first post office in the 1750's. Further, it uses simple language and a short amount of text to make it understandable to even primary school students, making this book good for early education on Canadian history and heritage.

If you are Canadian, then I cannot recommend this book enough to you. In fact, I think that it should be in every Canadian's household, in order to educate the citizens of the dominion about our history and heritage. For me, I wish I had this book when I was a boy!

P.S., Shout out to Anthony Wilson-Smith, Brigitte d'Auzac, Chantal Gagnon, Tabitha Marshall, Andrew McIntosh, and Eli Yarhi for putting together this book! You are awesome staff at Historica Canada. 🇨🇦

It was an interesting, factual book that gave information on several key Canadians who were born on specific days during the year. Not only did it give a factual biographical account but also key things about their accomplishments. Then, below, it would give the names of other Canadians born on that specific calendar day.

It included a combination of historical & recent facts.

Such great information that every Canadian should be aware of. With an assortment of historical, musical, scientific samples of Canadian contributions to be proud of I would love to see this delivered as a daily app of ongoing tidbits, reading it in a textbook format makes it pretty sluggish to absorb this much information...
