A beautifully created book - top quality presentation and clearly lovingly put together. Fantastic for anybody interested in mythical dungeon & dragon type creatures but also fabulous as a reference book for budding artists since every stage of the creative and thought process of each drawings is fully illustrated. I loved it and will be constantly using it as inspiration for my own efforts at sketching. Can't fault it - off now to take another look and get some thoughts for my next drawing.

An interesting book that combines design process with cryptozoology. It's written in the fashion of a field artist studying fantasy creatures, which is strange yet works well in this book. The designs themselves are fantastic and you even get to see alternative designs as well as "subspecies." I would recommend this book to anyone interested in drawing or cryptozoology (or both).

This book is beautiful, from cover to cover. My daughter was mesmerized by all the different creatures within this book. She cannot wait to try and draw some of these amazing creatures.
