Just what every crimebiting gang needs... a cat?!?!
No one fights crime harder than the Crimebiters gang... and of course my crime-fighting dog, Abby. Together, we’ve fought against corruption in the world of elementary school sports and even stopped a neighborhood crime ring!
But now a copy of the final math test has been stolen, AND our local animal shelter (where I found Abby!) is in danger of closing. As if that weren’t enough, Daisy has introduced her new kitten, Purrkins, into the Crimebiters family -- and everyone knows that cats and dogs fight like... well, cats and dogs!
Can four determined kids and two squabbling pets come together to save the day again? I’d say we have a furry good chance.

This was a shared read-aloud I read with my 3rd grade class this school year! It was such a fun book! I didn’t realize it was part of a series that none of us had read until we started reading it but that didn’t matter because the author does a fabulous job of explaining everything that might have been missed or forgotten by readers in previous books! My class LOVED it and were so sad it was over because they genuinely love the adventures of the Crimebiters!
The CrimeBiters are out to solve the mystery of the stolen answer sheet to the final math test of the school year, but bigger issues arise when the animal shelter is threatened with closer. Can it be saved along with all the animals? The gang has to overcome their differences and work together to do the correct thing.
