Singularity Barbecue

Come for the food, stay for the blood sacrifice.

Life sucks for Sebastian Stevens and it's not his fault. He had plans, a perfectly mapped out career as an award-winning journalist, leading to fame and fortune. Then digital killed the newspaper star and Sebastian ended up as the Events and Food reporter for a free Los Angeles magazine – a FREE magazine. If there is a journalism Hell, he is in it.

But Sebastian's luck may be changing, when he discovers Singularity BBQ, a food truck run by three of the sexiest women he has ever met. The food is incredible and the women seem to have an almost cult-like hold over their customers. Even Sebastian can't help himself from getting caught up in their flirty, seductive games. But who are they? Why a food truck? And what's up with the whole Singularity thing? Sebastian has questions but the answers may lead him into a living nightmare because the ladies of Singularity Barbeque are cooking up something wicked and if Sebastian isn’t careful he may just end up on the menu.

David Delaney has been telling stories since he was a little kid. Of course, many of those early stories were told to get him out of whatever trouble he had gotten himself into. (But if his mom is reading this, he never lied – honest.)

As an adult, David continued telling stories, but a specialized kind of story called - The Television Promo (basically the TV show version of a movie trailer). If little kid David had known that grown up David would spend his days working on hit shows such as The Simpsons, 24 and Bones he would have totally spazzed out.

Now, David continues his joy of storytelling with the Paragon Society, a supernatural thriller series wherein battle mages and shapeshifters clash with people-eating-demon-women (among other nasties) over the fate of the Human race.

Singularity Barbeque by David Delaney is a short book and seems to be the prequel to Orson. I got this book free from the author's website.I have already read the first three books in the series and love them! This is a great shorter story that introduces the main characters in an explosive way! Really terrific!

Can't wait for the rest of this series!

Obviously the Author wrote this before Orson but I like most things got it ass backwards! 🙌 I read Orson first and to be honest, it made more sense to me because I was introduced to Orson, Lucy and Wyatt in Orson's book and gave me more insight into their characters, so it works either way. Read one or the other first but you'll like the series, it's unique and the characters are extremely likeable.

A Fun Read!!

Sebastian is simply trying to make a living at his highly under rated job when he gets a story to write up on three amazing women and their BBQ truck.
But what he learns about the women may not be good for his health.
Pick this up, very entertaining!!

Not like Dad's BBQ

Clever plot. Charming characters - some of them. Looking forward to the next in the series, Orson. What makes him tick?

Fun, despite being about vampire (yawn)-like creatures. And sexy!

Very action packed

This was full of vampires, werebears, demons, and sex appeal. It was full of action. Loved every minute of it. My only complaint is it was too short!
