Borrowed is the story of what happens when you try to build something a lasting love with someone who belongs to someone else.
This book far exceeded my expectations! I went in thinking it was a romance (I really should have read the marketing copy more carefully) and instead got a deliciously messy drama-fest anchored by an incredible friendship.
I laughed a lot, shook my head throughout, and muttered "there, but for the grace of God, go I" at least once. The strength of the book is in the characters, who are relatable even at their most trifling.
An excellent debut. Can't wait to read more from this author.
Loved this novel . It was an awesome read nice flow great characters , have to place it in my top ten for 2017 and look forward to reading more great stories from Ms Edwards .
It took me a minute to figure out what was going on but once I got the hang of it, I liked how the story was going. Wouldn't mind a sequel into the budding romance of Nora and Hassan and for Mia to get herself together and find someone to love ❤️.
I really enjoyed this debut by Simone L. Edwards. This one managed to be both entertaining and relatable. I'm looking forward to reading more from this new author!
