Some reasons for 4 stars. Also, to address a couple of the negative comments:
-This book is short. It is less then 100 pages. It is only intended to give an introduction and advice.
-Not all tech terms were explained. One example is map network drive. Most non tech folks would have to Google what that means. If I was not studying IT field, I would not have a clue on what that means.
-Sometimes depending on the situation, old ways works better.
-I really love how the author gives mostly laymen terms! He explains the different type of hackers. I feel laymen terms are wonderful for everyone learns differently. This is my primary reason for 4 stars. Again, not completely in laymen terms.
-I like how he explains hacking is not a joke. He explains why.
-The author has experience in this field. Read his biography. The author states (not in these exact words) about always learning. One thing about life is learning. Especially, with the IT field.
I am a white hat and needed to brush up on my skills. It has been 6-7 years since I last hacked. I have a big mission in mind and this is just what I needed. I do wish it had more Android in it... Off course it should be simple as its a knock off of Linux.😁
