Sherry is a single mother away from her baby trying to make money so they can be together again. She works at a cafe during the day and a strip club at night. Her sex life is non existent after bad experiences with me who run the moment they find out she has a kid but things are different when Mike is around, she tries to avoid him but something are just too hard to do.
Mike is visiting his sister, when he sees sherry he can't help but feel strong things for her. Her beauty captures his attention and he'll do anything to have her talk to him but Mike is having struggles of his own after what his ex fiancé cruelly did to him.
When Sherry's car breaks down the day before she's due to visit her son her best friend suggests mike drives her and he jumps at the chance of spending time with her but how will he react to finding out about Mason, Sherry's son? Will things go wrong when Sherry's ex attends supper at her mom and dads house? You gotta read this to find out.
This is a standalone novella and the first book I've read by J.J Marstead. It's been a good and sexy read.
Sherry and Mike are cute but I feel like the relationship happened a little too fast, other than that it was a nice read.

If you are looking for a fast and sexy read this is the book for you. Sherry is a single mom who would do anything to make a better life for her and her son. Mike the sexy brother of Sherry's roommate is determined to make Sherry his. Despite the attraction between them Sherry is afraid to give Mike a chance. Every guy that finds out about her son ends up leaving so why would Mike be any different? I absolutely LOVED Sherry and could totally relate to her. I thought Mike was just perfect. He was a perfect gentleman in public but behind closed doors he knows how to please a woman. I really enjoyed this book!

Sherry: A Please Me Novella is my first by the author. It's a short read that moves fairly quickly.
Sherry works two jobs trying to save enough money to buy a house. She needs it to be able to bring her son home with her.
She has two roommates; one who doesn't know she has a child, that roommate is also the one who's brother is head over heels for Sherry.
Sherry wants him but is afraid he'll run when he finds out she has a child, just like every other man has. When an opportunity presents itself for Mike to find out exactly who she is will he run or will he stay?
Short an sweet Sherry is 3.5-4 stars for me. While the writing was great I had issue with her having two roommates, two close friends but only one of them knowing about her child who was 6 years old. I can't see how you can keep it from one but not the other when your that close but that's just me!

3-3.5 Stars Good
OK, so I have liked the two "Please Me" Novellas but for me, they just don't have enough "substance" to them. If you are looking for short n sexy reads with a brief story and some good sex then these are for you!
Again, good but just not anything to get me revved up about.

This is an iffy one for me really. I started out not liking the way Sherry, our main character, acted or portrayed herself. She was just very abrasive and standoffish. Don't get me wrong I adore and love a strong leading lady but Sherry was over the top with it. She got really petty over things that hadn't even happened yet.
I really wish there could have been more backstory on the relationship that Sherry had with Mike because I felt there was more than just a electric attraction to him there.
This book left me wanting to know more about what was going on with April and her Doctor than anything else. It left a lot hanging Sherry's life so hopefully some of it will come to fruition in April's story.

If you want a fast read short novella. This will be your right pick. Sherry single mother working hard to have a better life for her son Mason. She is afraid to have a relationship since all guys she has met run when they find out the word " I have a son".. until she met the right person and the right time

This is a novella, so I did not expect any complicated plot or intense character development.
Sherry is a single mom who works as waitress during the day and a stripper by night. She has 2 roommates, Jade and April. And Mike, our lovely Hero, is April's older brother. There's a mutual attraction between our Sherry and Mike but Sherry puts a wall (wall Maria against titans har har) because she has experiences that guys backs off when she mentions she has a son.
One weekend, under a circumstance (broken car), Mike drives her to her parent's hometown. And Mike learns that Sherry has a son already. Plus, Jeff, Sherry's ex boyfriend (the father of her son) is also their trying to want her back.
Decisions, decisions, decisions.

This is a really easy read, quick, sexy and sweet.
I kind of feel a bit let down though. Because it is so quick I don't feel like I really properly got to know the characters as well as I would have liked and I definitely want to know more about Sherry's history.
I really admire her for having the strength to be away from her son, to try and build them a better life.
All in all, a bit rushed and I kind of felt it was just cut short. As if the author had written 100 words over the limit do just deleted those last words. Shame really because I feel that took this book from a 4 down to a 3.

We had a glimpse of Sherry when we read Jade, but now we have her story and we learned her secret and her demons that don't let her achieve her dream.
Sherry is a short, fast pace, sexy story that I wished it could be a little longer to continue following this great characters. This book covers all aspects you can imagine from a book and it didn't disappointed. I for one can't wait to continue reading about this character that had left an impression in my mind and wish everyone will read them.

I really enjoyed this story and at times felt both sorry and happy for Sherry. She wasn't in the best line of work but everything she did was for her son. Then she meets Mike and finds her life is about to change. The question is when he finds out about her son will he stay or run??. There were some hot sex scenes and also some lovely emotional moments. This is a short story butI did feel it ended a bit too quickly for me .

Sherry is another one of the Angel Dust girls like Jade. I really liked that these can be read as standalones instead of having to follow a series. I enjoyed this book just like I did the other. It moves at a good and steady pace keeping interest the whole length of the book. I would have liked this one to have been a little longer with just a little more background but it didn't hinder the story. It was very easy to crush on Mike. Sherry made me laughs she's a very enjoyable character and I adored her son Mason he's such a sweet boy. This was another great book 4.5 stars.- Tiffany
