Again.... this authors epilogues.... I need more!!!!, they seem light and not giving me enough to feel some closure.
Over all this was not my favourite book from this series but it was still an enjoyable safe read.

I read three of the books in this series over the weekend and enjoyed them. Why? Because they are VARY VARY similar to KA's ROCK CHICK series which I have read 14 times. That's right, I know that series inside and out so if you are going to be inspired by that series you may want to...well try a little harder not to be so...how do I put this? Obvious...

Could've done without the ow drama, though small, no woman wants to be confronted with the reality of the man she loves having a past, whether he was intimate with the woman or not, other things were done, of which he's now doing with the heroine. It was over quickly, the misunderstanding resolved, and she was only a part of the story by phone, but still...I would've preferred it never happened. Let their drama be due to something else. Plus, the scenario is kind of implausible. He's been celibate, not doing anything with anyone, since meeting heroine four years ago, yet we're supposed to believe a woman from a club hours outside of town that he hasn't connected with in at least four years, possibly longer, calls after all these years and leaves a message that not so subtly implies they have history and she has something new to use with him? It's too farfetched, something else should be used to create some drama, and yeah, I'd prefer it not involve another woman, especially not one he's done things with.

Love the Adamos series but I have to say that Rico and Mickey's story is my favorite! Why? Because it was the hero, Rico's opinion that his darkness was too much for the heroine, Mickey so she did some very convincing moves and major talking to make him take her seriously. Yes, Mickey Gunn made the first move on brooding Rico with the help of her girlfriends at the café and even Wolf, Dani and workers at Revved!

It's no secret that I've got mad crushes on the Adamo men. I've loved all of the books in this series so far and they are some of my favourite Mia Madison books overall. Rico's dark story had been hinted to in the previous books and it was so worth the wait!
I loved that we got to know Rico a bit more in depth. He's definitely darker than some of the other men in his family, but still has the huge Adamo heart that has been waiting for the right girl. She's been right under his nose for the past few years, but Mickey has decided she's tired of waiting for Rico to make a move. She forces his hand and the Adamo possessive, jealous and passionate traits suddenly show themselves in Rico and compel him to claim what's his.
Sexy, steamy, dark romance with the added levity of the overbearing and nosy Adamo clan. I hope to read about many more Adamo men (and Firestorm men?) in the future!
HEA. Standalone. No cliffhanger.

A great second read. I love this series. Slight ow drama from a phone call, but it only lasted a few hours. That's the only time they were apart once they got together. Great read.

Love all of Ms. Madison's books. Have to say, the Adamos are my favorites. Now I want read about Wolf and Dani, and hopefully a Dante book. Shoot who am I kidding, I want a whole big fat Adamo series. Please Ms Madison, please continue this series with the whole clan.

Reaching Rico is about Mickey and Rico. Mickey started working at Revved Garage when she was 16, hired my Victor. She fell in love with Rico the moment she saw him. Four years later, she is getting frustrated watching all her friends get hooked up with Adamo men and Rico hasn't even touched her. She works out a seduction plan with the other girls...but will it work? Does Rico even want her?
Whew, this was another scorching hot Adamo story! Full of hot sex scenes (some spanking here), a very alpha male Adamo, some miscommunication, sadness, secrets, funny moments, and best of all, even some super sweet romance. LOVE these Adamo stories and I look forward to reading more!

Another Adamo Falls
Rico is cute, doing the "I avoid you to protect you from the dark" bit. This series seems to have fallen into a good kind of groove with consistent characters doing what Madison characters, do...preferably with a noticeable age gap.

Best one yet!
My gosh to read Rico and Mickey's story, it's like a take on Beauty and the Beast. She's a tiny girl but she's so strong for loving an obviously broken and beautiful man! I'll definitely read this again

Reaching Rico
Loved this story. Rico & Mickey completed each other. The dominant was finally able to let go of his past pain and find comfort and love. This couple did have to deal with bumps in the road. The sex scenes with kink involved were 🔥.

No kidnapping! Lol.
While I think that Rico was a little overly dramatic with the torment over his interest in BDSM this was my favorite story so far. He was a little more flawed than the other Adamos but that just made him even more loveable.

I love Mia's books and while I still gave it 4 stars I felt like I was missing something. It almost went too quick. Look I g forward to reading more from this series.

I originally met Mickey in Gina and Carlo's book, so I was happy to see this one come along. I absolutely love all of the Adamo characters that Ms. Madison has created. And, it was good to see the other girls from Revved and how everyone is hooked up now -- Gina with Carlo, Cait with Antonio, Erin with Kosta, Frankie with Vic and now Mickey and Rico. Short and sweet. Yeah, there are some sections that make you cry and a lot of laughing as well. Everyone has their own way of dealing with things from their past and Rico has been keeping his eye on Mickey for four long years now. Pick this up as soon as you can. You don't want to miss it.

This is the fifth book in the Adamo series by Mia Madison. I've been curious about Rico since the first book in the series so I was so excited to see it was his turn. Rico is another hot sexy alpha male in the very lucky gene pool that is the Adamo family. Every time I read the name Mickey Gunn it reminded me of the movie "Uptown Girls" because the girl in the movie was named Molly Gunn. Mickey started working at Revved Garage 4 years ago when she was 16 years old. The first time Mickey saw Rico she was speechless and ever since then she has been head over heels in love with him. She understands why he wouldn't make a move on her when she was underage but she's 20 years old now and sick of waiting for him to make a move. Rico has kept his distance from Mickey because he is trying to protect her from himself. He has a very tragic past that has hardened him and he doesn't think he's good enough for Mickey. This one was really good and Rico's past was sad I felt so bad for him. Now bring on another sexy ass Adamo man !

I have been waiting for Rico’s story for a while and I have to say I was not disappointed. Rico is a strong, silent, alpha male who has a dark past and holds his cards close to his vest. Mickey is a solid woman who understands her feeling and wants for Rico and is willing to push his limits to get him. I loved the interaction between both the main characters and the secondary characters. I loved the Adamo invasion (they keep getting better and better). I loved that end the end Rico gave in to his love and found happiness with Mickey. There is only so much darkness a man can take and I loved that Mickey was his light. I can see their future and it is amazing. The story was written well and it flowed great. I liked that we were introduced a little more to Wolf, as I would love to have his story next. Mia, it seems, cannot go wrong when writing about our beloved Adamo men! I will quote her: “You know we’re always up for sexy alpha talk.” I received an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review. Oh, my favorite line: “Last chance, doll. Forget vows. We ever stand up in a church, it’ll only be puttin’ a bow on what’s already been done.” Swoon!

I really liked this book. I love this series and couldn’t wait to get my hands on Rico. Rico is dark and mysterious. I liked Mickey and was rooting for her to get her man. I truly felt for Rico, after all he had been through I wanted him to be happy.
I would have liked to read a little of Rico’s POV. I wanted to know what he was feeling when he finally gave in to his attraction. After four years of holding himself back.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and delicious to devour.
I cannot wait for the next book in this series. I need it now!

I've been excited for Reaching Rico, the latest installment of the Adamo books, which are stand alones with connected characters.
Rico is tall and built, like a sexy gladiator. He and Mickey have worked at the garage together for years and though she's always wanted him, he hasn't made a move. Go her for sucking it up and going for it! Girl power!
Just because she's strong though, it does not make her unbreakable and at one point I shed a couple tears. Rico is intense and gruff and I love the things he says! Another thing I love about these books is how tight knit they are, there's a big group of people in a small area that more or less have eachother's backs. I loved it and am looking forward to the next and the next, she could just keep doing these.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Loved this book. I was so glad to see that Rico finally got his own story and with Mickey no less. This story was so hot. I liked who the two have known each other for years and that Rico was not sue if Mickey could handle his darker side. Mickey has always found Rico attractive and finally comes up with a plan to make him see her as a woman and not a little girl. I also enjoyed how all her friends who are with Adamo men helped her out. I was glad to see tht Rico was able to open up to Mickey and allowed her to see the more vulnerable and tender side of him. As usually the family comes together to welcome her to the family. They are always a fun bunch to read about. I am looking forward to more stories about this family. Not just the men of the Adamos, the women as well. Like Dani. I loved the ending. The whole story was a great read.

Best One Yet....This is my favourite of the Adamo family with Mickey and Rico. We have been introduced to these two in the other books and we finally get their story and what a story it is. What I loved about it is Mickey's maturity and not wanting to play games with Rico, staying true to him and always thinking about his feelings and Rico's devotion to Mickey since he met her. Waiting till she is ready for him....all of him. The perfect story for my new favourite couple in the Adamo family.

I really liked this book. I loved how the family was so involved with each other and how they all supported one another. Rico thought he wasn't good enough for Mickey that she deserved better for things from his past life. He holds his feelings in for years, Mickey is about to give up. She has tried everything to get Rico to notice her and finally. I liked that it told the story from both pov. I read this book ARC for my honest opinion.
