Disney) of Walt Disney Productions, Disney became one of the best-known motion picture producers in the world. The corporation he co-founded, now known as The Walt Disney Company, today has annual revenues of approximately U.S. $35 billion.
Disney is particularly noted for being a film producer and a popular showman, as well as an innovator in animation and theme park design. He and his staff created some of the world's most famous fictional characters including Mickey Mouse, a character for which Disney himself was the original voice. He has been awarded four honorary Academy Awards and has won twenty-two competitive Academy Awards out of fifty-nine nominations, including a record four in one year, giving him more awards and nominations than any other individual. He also won seven Emmy Awards. He is the namesake for Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort theme parks in the United States, as well as the international resorts Tokyo Disney, Disneyland Paris, and Disneyland Hong Kong.
Disney died of lung cancer in Burbank, California, on December 15, 1966. The following year, construction began on Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. His brother Roy Disney inaugurated the Magic Kingdom on October 1, 1971.

"Contra lo que podría esperarse, la Bestia le había mostrado qué era la belleza verdadera. Le había hecho entender que estaba bien ser diferente. Le había enseñado que estaba bien sentirse perdida. Y le hizo darse cuenta de cuán desesperadamente ella deseaba que alguien la encontrara. Bella aprendió que las cosas no siempre son lo que parecen, que la gente puede sorprenderte; la Bestia le había dado lo que ella siempre ansió: algo más."

Me encantó :3 pensé que iba a ser igual a la película pero me dio ciertos momentos extra y explicaciones que necesitaba para sentir que todo encajaba perfecto con esta historia ^^

Me encanta la historia, amo la bella y la bestia con todo mi corazón y leer este libro fue una dicha.
Este libro es técnicamente la película live action de la bella y la bestia (la cual me encanta) hecha novela y si bien no le di las 5 estrellas fue porque no me encantó el estilo de la autora que la adaptó, siento que le faltó mucho por expresar y que no sabía describir ciertas escenas. Por ejemplo a la escena del baile principal le faltó mucho por describir, le faltó esa magia que se siente cuando la ves en la película (tanto la animada como la live action) y si por ejemplo hubiera leído el libro sin saber nada me lo habría imaginado como un simple baile de ellos abrazados con poca duración. Ahora, hablando de otra escena en la que más bien se pasó con las descripciones, no fue de mi agrado la manera en la que plasmó la escena de la batalla con Gastón; siento que las descripciones sobraron y si no conociera esta escena de memoria (todas las escenas, en realidad) me habría sido muy difícil de imaginar, por la forma tediosa en la que la describió.
Dejando de lado a la adaptación, con la traducción también tuve ciertos problemas en tanto ortografía pues a muchas palabras les faltaban acentos (lo cual es bastante irónico considerando que la persona que tradujo el libro lleva dos acentos en su nombre completo), como por ejemplo cuando decía un verbo en tiempo pasado como "corrió" o "rió" (y en esta última no ponía ningún acento, ni siquiera para su tiempo presente que sería "río") y eso me molestó muchas veces. Quizá sea una tontería pero no sé, siento que si contratan a alguien para traducir un libro mínimo debe saber dónde poner los acentos.
Ahora, dejando toda esa crítica atrás, a este libro no podía darle menos de 4 estrellas, pues si bien muy probablemente no lea algo de la autora que lo adaptó, y si puedo evite las traducciones de quien lo tradujo, esta historia simplemente llena mi corazón de alegría y de amor, y como si fuera poco contar con dos películas oficiales, muchas adaptaciones cinematográficas, el cuento original y retellings, que nos traigan la película live action hecha libro es increíble y no me arrepiento de haberlo comprado porque la historia de la bella y la bestia de Disney hecha libro era lo que le faltaba a mi librero y a mi vida.

Le doy 5 estrellas porque es mi cuento Disney favorito, pero el estilo de escritura me pareció un poco novato, desde luego infantil, pero si que lo disfruté.
