What if the Beauty wasn’t happy with her Happily Ever After?
Mirabelle saved Prince Alexander from life as a beast and became Princess of the Eastern Kingdom. Her world is beauty and elegance and light, but the tasks of maintaining her image as a princess and insuring the happiness of her prince are slowly eating away at the person she’d been, before breaking the curse. Her Happily Ever After isn’t as happy as she’d hoped.
After being cursed, however, life might have been better as it was. Now her prince is the Beast again and doesn’t know her, a deadly woodcutter is after her hand in marriage, and she has three weeks to save herself and her prince from an alternate reality which should never have happened.
If Mira doesn’t succeed, more may be at stake than she realizes. Not only might she lose her love and her happiness, but if she can’t break her curse in time, she might become something dark as well.
She might become the next Enchantress.
A thought-provoking tale of what might have happened after the Happily Ever After.
Looking for something new to read? Try this new writer. A different perspective on the "happily ever after" theme and one we should all think about. I could tell you what the story is about as some reviewers do, but why give away the story. That isn't why we read books for ourself. For a new writer I have little to say about sentence structure or proofing as this had very few errors of both. It is a quick and enjoyable read and personally believe this will be an interesting series. Ms. Maes has my attention as a writer to follow. I wish her much success.
