A stolen fortune. A royal scandal. And a ghostly heist gone horribly wrong.
When paranormal investigator Henrietta “Harry” McCabre and her team of wraith wranglers are called in to handle a poltergeist emergency, they expect flying furniture—not a full-blown royal crisis. But when the infamous Pink Eulalie ring—worth fifty million pounds—vanishes from the same home, along with a secret royal will, it’s clear this is no ordinary haunting. And the only way the thieves could have cracked the safe? A little supernatural assistance.
Now, Harry, her ever-dapper associate Jarrett Zephyr-Thornton, tech-whiz Deshawn, and their resident ghost Buckley find themselves entangled in a case that threatens to shake the monarchy to its core. With Russian spies on their tail, a scandal brewing in the palace, and an unsolved murder at the heart of it all, they’ll have to break into Buckingham Palace, outmaneuver a vengeful poltergeist, and avoid the wrath of the Queen herself.
Can Harry crack the case before history repeats itself? And will Jarrett finally find true love—or just another disaster?
Hilarious, fast-paced, and packed with ghostly hijinks, Ghost Save the Queen is the third adventure in the spellbinding Harry McCabre series!
Nic has a background in political science and before being struck by the writing bug worked odd jobs around the world (including but not limited to massage therapist in Mexico, gardener in Italy, restaurant manager in India, and Berlitz teacher in Belgium).
When he’s not writing he enjoys curling up with a good (comic) book, watching British crime dramas, French comedies or Nancy Meyers movies, sampling pastry (apple cake!), pasta and chocolate (preferably the dark variety), twisting himself into a pretzel doing morning yoga, going for a run, and spoiling his big red tomcat Tommy.
He lives with his wife (and aforementioned cat) in a small village smack dab in the middle of absolutely nowhere and is probably writing his next ‘Mysteries of Max’ book right now.
Break into a palace? Let crooks out of jail? A politician that lies? What a fun escape read. I thought it was a good story that kept me reading to see what more could happen.
If I can't put a book down when reading it , it gets a "5 star" rating. All of this author's books tie me to my chair. Love her characters and her sense of humor.
Ghosts, spies, a politician , inept burglars and Royals give Harry and her friends an unusual case. The plot has twists and surprises. There is action. Harry and Darian think about what they want from their relationship.
Wonderful kooky story. It is full of great laughs and some serious moments also. But the best part was being able to have a good laugh along the moments of seriousness.
The Wrath Wranglers get involved with spies and Buckingham Palace. There are lots of little surprises in this story and things are moving forward in relationships.
This is the third in a series featuring Wraith Wranglers, a group of interesting characters, as well as ghosts. Not only do they solve mysteries, but they do it in inventive and unusual ways. I've enjoyed each book, but was especially intrigued with the foreign government attempting to infiltrate another government aspect. I had to look 3 times to see when this book was written. Well done Nic Saint! Perhaps the CIA or Homeland Security could use your skills.
A bit far fetched but nevertheless a real good read about Harry and Co. Thoroughly enjoyable and would recommend this to anyone who wants a good old fashioned Good Guys win story. As I tend to read around 3 or 4 books a day it takes a lot for me to enjoy a book and this is definitely enjoyable.
What's Harry to do? A murder, spies? Solve the mystery and save the queen. Really great read, the ghosts are hilarious, good twist didn't see that one coming.
