One hot night and an unplanned pregnancy.

I’ve always had a crush on my ridiculously handsome stepbrother, Stefan. He’s always been there, at my side. We’ve played, laughed, and even cried together. But then our relationship turned weird.

Anytime he was near, I found myself filled with lustful thoughts, and when he touched me, it felt like I would burst into flames. Soon, just being in his presence became too much to bear. I started avoiding him at all costs, and when I did encounter Stefan, I would act like a cold-hearted bitch to him so he would never suspect my true feelings.

But sometimes, the things you hide have a way of coming to light . . . when you least expect them.

*This is a full-length Stepbrother Romance with an HEA, no cheating, and no cliffhanger!

Salty Spoiler Filled Review:

I may have finished college a number of years ago - and it was medical school so we were tame - but for sure the college I remember wasn't as deprived as it is depicted here.

Exhibit A: h had to join a dildo deepthroating contest and have sex with a masked man to be a member of a sorority

Exhibit B: H, who won a "Gladiator" fight in his frat got his prize: one night with an unknown woman from a sorority

Exhibit C: When H's friend finds out the stepsiblings were the h & the masked gladiator, he spread the news like step siblings having sex was exciting news in their already slutty lifestyle.

Exhibit D: The students of this college are fucked up. Members of the frat / sorority are either jealous megalomaniacs or bitter sluts.

Exhibit E: Back to Exhibit A & B. Who in their right mind would agree to having sex with a masked stranger to get in a sorority? h here is shaming herself by treating her body (and soul) like trash and frankly she deserved all the shit she got after the one night stand.

Also, Had I known this was a college fic I'd have steered clear. I don't like immature MCs.

Exhibit A: Stefan (H), saying "Fuck this school, I don't give a shit about it". Spoken like true privileged youth, enjoying college for the fun times and the freedom. Spoken like someone who has never had to work, deal with bills, taxes, credit and all things adult. Sigh. If only love - and other questionable choices and way of living - paid the bills.

As you can tell, I have a lot of issues with this book. It's unreal and frankly scary how the youth of the world is portrayed here. Also, I can't deal with the Gossip Girl "having a fake boyfriend" "my best friend likes my stepbrother - who I am currently fucking" "h's stepfather affair w her sorority sister" stuff.

I'm Asian. And by God if I'd done even just half of the things these MCs did my parents would have disowned me like ASAP! I'd have disowned MYSELF Good God the youth is the future all right, they're the apocalypse! Talk about Ragnarok!

When I first saw the title, I thought it was an alpha shifter romance and I didn’t check the blurb. So fast forward several hours later, I finished the book and was surprised that I liked it (gasp!). Sure it was taboo-ish but I didn’t read about how young they were when their parents got together, I didn’t notice if they were raised as siblings as very young children so the entire stepsibling arc didn’t bother me so much coz they weren’t blood relatives and they’ve had their attraction to each other for so long.
I also appreciated that it wasn’t easy for them to get together and I’m glad they got their HEA. I hope they lasted forever!

Sweet, Sexy, Simple

Boy, girl, together, baby, life and then more life. I not sure if it's the taboo behind this that made me judge it so harshly. I have read lots of stepbrother romances. I have enjoyed a great deal of them but this one I just could not get pas a few things. It was just too much for me. The writting was good. The characters develeoped. The plot moved forward. I just did not love the book overall.

Bella has always loved Stefan Linvingston. But there’s just one problem, he her stepbrother. She has to watch him with girl after girl. Never letting anyone know her true feelings, she pushes him away. But she can’t take it anymore, so when she gets the chance to go to college and get away from him. She jumps at the chance. But no matter where she goes, she can’t get him out of her head.

Stefan is a star athlete, and a total hottie. He has everything he could ever want right? But he can’t get his stepsister out of his head. When he realized he has feelings for her, he wanted to be close to her. But it seems like Bella wanted the exact opposite. So he started dating bunches of girls, hoping to find one who will finally get Bella out of his mind.

They both thought that the Sacrafice would be good for them, finally let them forget about what they can’t have. But that does the exact opposite. Now they have to deal with the consequences and finally face their love for each other. But will their family be so accepting? Will their love survive?

Overall, this book was ok. I didn’t feel connected to the charcters as much, and they didn’t have very much chemistry. The pregnancy wasn’t there very much, it was just in the background. Bella was so insecure. About the baby weight she would put on and then about Stefan’s feelings for her. All she would do would whine about how she would gain weight and not be her perfect size 2 anymore. Really? Stefan was good. He tried to be there for Bella and only wanted to support her and the baby.

I received this book as an ARC for a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Stefan and Bella. Bella has had a crush on her step-brother for years she knows they could never be together so instead of acting on her feelings she starts treating him badly. Once she graduates high school she lies about the college she will be going to just so that she can be sure to be no where around Stefan she hopes by doing this she will finally get over her feelings for him. However one night while pledging a sorority something happens she gets picked as the sacrifice to the fraternity at the college. Little did she know that night would change her life. However will it change if for the better or the worse?

Stefan has always had a crush on his step-sister Bella it got so bad the only way he could be with women and have a happy ending was by picturing it was her he was with. So he figure college will finally be the time that he will get over her. However it doesn't go as planned when the first college he attends he gets into hot water and almost gets kicked out. So no that he is at North State he is determined to prove that he is the big man and nothing will stop him, or so he thinks. Little does he know that after becoming the alpha in his fraternity by beating all of his brothers in an arm wrestling contest. His prize will be a night with one of the Kappa Beta girls. Little does he know that this one girl he is going to be paired up with is the one girl he can never get over. What will he do when he finds out who he is really with? Will this break not only them but their family as well?

This is a great story about finding the love of your life and being willing to do anything it takes to be with that person. There are many twists and turns in this story that I want to tell you all about but don't want to ruin it for anyone else. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone.

Stepbrother/college romance

I enjoyed this story of stepsiblings who are attracted to each other. Brought together at a young age, Stefan Livingston and Bella James became best friends and cared for each other as steps, but that changes in high school as they find their feelings morph from innocence into something else. Feelings that include desire, intimacy, and love.

Each are confused about their new found feelings, and subsequently try to avoid each other by going to different colleges. But an incident at Stefan’s college gets him kicked out and he unknowingly transfers to Bella’s college where they separately have joined related fraternity and sorority houses: Alpha and Kappa. Bella is the “gift” from Kappa to the “champion” of Alpha who happens to be Stefan. They are pawns in the “Sacrifice” where they engage in sex. In costume and they don’t speak, both are left clueless about each other’s identity.

Until the deed is done.

Needless to say they are in shock, but it’s the best sex ever and it only confirms the sizzling attraction between them. It’s undeniable.

From there, the plot goes wacko. The secret about their relationship is exposed to the campus, there’s confusion, lots of hurdles to overcome. Then Bella gets pregnant. Also, their parents have a little drama. But the grandparents are great. Throw in a devious, skanky sorority sister, and this has the makings of delicious plot. Throughout this whole ordeal, Stefan really comes through in providing and protecting Bella which made his character a hero in my eyes.

Alpha’s Baby is well written, but having said that, I had lost focus in several spots. Too many subplots were being thrown at the the main characters. Still I enjoyed it, especially the alternating POVs from Bella and Stefan where the reader is able to draw from individual feelings and motivation.

I received and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Bella and Stefan are step siblings who have this attraction for each other and have loved each other in secret. Neither have known how the other have felt for they have kept it to themselves fearing rejection and that their feelings were wrong to have for one another. Keeping away from each other seemed to be the best course of action, even though it hurt. They had been BFF at one time but they stopped and slowly drifted apart, going to separate colleges thinking that they wouldn’t see each other again except at home during the holidays.
That all changes when a party for the frat that Stefan is in and Bella's Sacrifice during college sorority initiation has them in an unexpected situation. They were set up to be with each other and didn't recognize each other then they meet again after the inititation and Stefan recognizes his hook up. There will be scandals and hardships , along with pain and angst but thru all that , there is twists and turns, passion and love that goes for Stefan and Bella. I enjoyed reading this book –seeing all that they go thru to get their HEA was great. The MC go thru all to get their slice of the pie in the sky happiness.

My rating: 4.5 stars ****

Bella and Stefan are stepbrother and stepsister and have feelings for each other. Bella hides hers by being cold toward Stefan until one night where the two of them sleep together. They admit their feelings for one another but things are complicated by the fact that Bella becomes pregnant. Now they must hide the pregnancy from everyone at school as well as their parents.
Stefan was so sweet all throughout Bella's pregnancy especially when their parents found out and that shit show blew up. It was sweet that Grandma Em was supportive when the two of them made it clear that they were keeping the baby and were staying together. I'm glad in the end everything worked out and they got their happily ever after.

Bella and Stefan are step-siblings that used to be close, but as they got older her feelings for him changed and with that change came distance and avoidance. Now they both find themselves at the same college, yet have no idea they are, and when a party for the frat and Bella's Sacrifice has them in an unexpected situation. An unknown hook-up for Stefan ends up being Bella and while it's unexpected he can't deny he's happy it happened. Bella and Stefan will go through so much to get the happy ending they want with each other, consequences don't matter-in fact one he is really happy about, even if she is scared at first. Stefan will do whatever it takes to keep Bella safe from anyone. This is a hot read from Lauren Landish that was previously a series, but now all in one book. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I'm a big fan of Lauren Landish's books and this book is great to read.

In places it left me twisted and torn because I couldn’t understand Stefan’s part in this story.

I'm not sure what to say. Partly he appears almost arrogant, though in love with Bella, but less concerned about their common problems.
And that puts Bella under a lot of pressure.

Bella's character is totally believable, her inner turmoil is totally comprehensible.
With Stefan's character, I could only befriend myself when he was forced to man up and take a position.

Alpha's baby is a solid book, but the recent books by Lauren Landish are better and more mature.

Lauren Landish never seems to disappoint. Her books just get better and better. This is one of the best stepbrother romances I've read. Stephan is a a real jewel and I fell in love with him myself. So refreshing how he stands with and supports Bella.

Step siblings who have fought and tried to hide an attraction to each other from each other for years. Things get heated and take a change when they both end up at the same school. Neither knew the other was at that school and they get drawn into a sorority/fraternity "sacrifice" and it ends in a surprise pregnancy. Not wanting to be a spoiler - great story that you will enjoy reading... A page turner for sure

Stefan has loved Bella his stepsister for a long time and not knowing that she loves him. Stephan goes to one college and Bella to a different one. Then no one tell Bella that he has transferred to her college. To each get into there sorority they each had to complete task. As the winner Stephan goes forward to the last part and since Bella’s name is picked she has to complete it for her sorority. They both have to get in costumes and goe to a dark room for sex. After they have finished Bella realises that it Stefan and pulls his mask off and runs from the house. Then a while later Bella realises she is pregnant and so there troubles begin.

If I'm being completely honest, my actual rating for this book would be more along 3.5 stars. While this was a sweet and and times steamy story about step-siblings, there were parts that seemed "forced". The dialogue was a little cheesy and Bella came off a little on the weak side. While Stefan was an alpha through and through, it was almost hard to believe his dedication. Still enjoyed the book, maybe isn't one of my favorites by this author.

Stepsiblings have a fraternity/sorority hazing one-night stand with masked strangers who turn out to be each other resulting in becoming social pariahs and an unexpected bonus. There is a lot of lying, hot times, plotting, and not a lot of help or support from the people who are supposed to do so. This is a pretty good story.

Excellent taboo romance

I liked this story, even though it's a taboo subject, I found it to be an excellent read. I love the love and passion between the two of them. Makes me wish I had a sexy step brother, however no such luck. Lol

Cute

This book was cute. The story was cute - that’s the best I can say. It was pretty predictable and cheesy. Bella was very whiny and Stephan was an insta-love idiot. Not a complete waste of time but not a page turner.
