Ollie is a half-vampire who, following his uncle's death, inherits a detective agency in the undead town of Skullenia.
He also inherits his uncle's staff: a zombie who can barely hold himself together (in more ways than one), a zombie the size of a phonebox and with a single digit IQ, a mad professor, and their chain-smoking friend Ronnie who has the ability to make himself invisible.
But Skullenia seems to be the last place that would need a detective agency. At least that is what Ollie thinks, until Count Jocular commissions him to help resolve a series of unexplained disappearances.
Has Ollie bitten off more than he can chew? With the help of his motley crew and some quite frankly ridiculous characters, he attempts to solve the perplexing mystery.
I was born in Cardiff, South Wales in 1967. After finishing school I, like many authors, have had a series of differing and varied jobs including working in a warehouse, a clothes factory, and as a police officer. Obviously I'll never settle anywhere because all I want to do is write for a living so work is just something that I have to do between chapters.
I'm extremely happily married to Sharon, and I have a son, who works at a games developement company, and two stepchildren and live in Kent, UK.
My novels are a mixture of the supernatural combined with a healthy dose of extreme silliness. In short I write what makes me laugh.
The books have been picked up for movie and TV development by Thunderball Films run by Mario Domina which is very exciting. Have a look at http://www.thunderballfilms.com/index...

If you've been kind enough to read any of my books and enjoyed them, then a review would be great.
Ollie, Stitches, Ronnie, Ethan, Flug and Dr. Crumble are all part of a supernatural detective team.
Ollie is one half human and the other half vampire. Stitches is a crumbling to pieces mess of a zombie. Ethan is a werewolf. Ronnie can turn invisible. Flug is a brainless idiot of a zombie and Dr. Crumble wants to be an inventor.
One day, Count Jocular, who lives in the neighborhood castle, with other supernatural creatures, calls Ollie to the castle for help.
When Ollie and Stitches arrive, Count Jockular tells them that the residents of his castle have been disappearing. They are free to leave, but nobody is returning home. What is happening?
Ollie, Stitches and Flug sets out to find Ronnie, who is also missing. They need his help. But it appears that the team is going to find more than Ronnie.
It was a really funny book with lots of sarcastic humour which I liked. I really recommend this to anyone who wants to try an audio book as it's one of the best I've listened to. Each character was really brought to life and I felt I knew all of them. The plot was simple but a nice pace and kept me intrigued, dotted with quick wit.
What a marvelous aray of caracters surrounding this mystery. Tony Lewis has a rather smarmy Idea of the paranormal world in Skullenia. If there is a mystical being or an undead form you should be able too see it walking or flying around town. Ollie and Stiches are but two such beings Ollie is a halfling vampire, Stiches a zombie both working in a P.I agency inherited from Ollie's uncle another vampire. When werewolves start to go missing they are asked to step in and find answers. Can they discover the answers before another goes missing. Start reading "Werewolf "now and enjoy the comical mystery with the rest of us. 🤔🙄😉😏 Kat
I thought this was a cute story, and how the writer rambles on in brackets every so often makes it funny in a corny way. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series
I couldn’t stop laughing at this great story. Being English myself I completely understand the dry humour as I use it in everyday life. I can’t wait to read the next book!!
There were a few jokes that made me laugh out loud, just that everything in between was somewhat painful. I guess it depends on what you make of the likes of 'Suicide pact lunch' whether you'll like it or not.
Wherewolf is a succesful combination of Britishy, witty, occasionally silly humor, a detective story and a tale of urban fantasy with vampires, werewolves and all the usual stuff included.
Main character alone, a half vampire who despises blood is a nice touch, I hope we will see more of his troubles with his undead-side. The rest of the cast fills in nicely, my personal favourite would be Stitches, a zombie who drops random body parts and sews them back on with a needle and a thread ... and he cannot keep his mouth shut even if his (un)life depended on it :).
While the individual aspects are not new, the author manages to create an unique world with unique writing style. For five stars I would probably need a meatier main plot or more character issues.
Nonetheless this is a great start to a series and I warmly recommend it.
This book is not my usual genre but I really enjoyed it.
The idea behind the book is excellent and very unique.
I really liked the pace and the writing style, the novel never lost momentum and kept me engaged till the end.
I like the fact that it's part of a series and I'm keen to read to more but this particular story actually had an ending, and a good one at that, so I wasn't left hanging.
The characters are very well created, introduced and surprisingly believable.
The book was funny and at times I laughed out loud. The authors personality comes through as well I think.
I felt a 5 star rating was appropriate, because the book is well presented, well written and edited, had a clear, well paced storyline and fulfilled my expectations.
It's creepy and it's kookie... and for an old Munsters and Addams Family fan, it's an all new take on notions from my comfy past. What am I talking about? Wherewolf, that's what, the first book in what I understand is quickly becoming a new classic series of comedy (with a capital C) monster detective books, cumulatively called Skullenia, by author Tony Lewis. You'll grin, you'll groan, but mostly you'll laugh out loud as you follow the adventures of half-vampire Ollie who may or may not be up to solving monster mysteries. Wherewolf was too much fun!
One of the funniest reads in a while :) I especially like the witty remarks that Tony has perfected in his writing. Overall, it reminded me a lot about Pratchett.
