“A beautifully spun, atmospheric story of magic that transcends the boundaries of time and the ties that bind.” ~ Casey L. Bond, author of When Wishes Bleed
Through space and time, sisters entwined. Lost then found, souls remain bound.
After facing a relentless foe, three sister witches are forced even further back through time to a place that holds just as much sorrow for them as it does joy.
Returning to their origins in 1685, the trio races to save not only their mother from the clutches of their new enemy but also to secure the future they’ve worked for centuries to build.
Avoiding their younger selves is a necessity that proves difficult, especially when one sister isn’t sure she wants to leave the past behind. Faced with love and loss, these witches are forced to endure the burning times again, and one wrong step could alter history and their future forever.

A common FAQ: "How do you pronounce her last name?"
Kennedy crept into the back room of the Hollsteen’s kitchen, gathering tools and ingredients for a quick memory spell. “Goddess of sight, hear my plea, gift me your vision so that I may see. Auras of doubt, harm, or fraught, show me your colors hidden or not.”~ #Excerpt #TheSistersofSalem
This book is ABSOLUTELY a page turner! I couldn’t put this book down! Tish absolutely outdid herself with the final book on this series and I will definitely tell you, it could make you cry and make you cheer all at the same time! If you have read this series you ABSOLUTELY have too because all 3 books will be page turners and you won’t be able to put them down! Thank you Tish for another FABULOUS series!
The sisters are back and better than ever. There is so much going on and I couldn’t read this book fast enough. With tons of truly spellbinding action this is an absolute must read!
So honored to receive an ARC copy of this third installment to The Witches if BlackBrooke! I don’t want to give any spoilers but if you loved the first two like me then you’ll love this one even more. I’m so happy Tish Thawer took her time with each book to make each one just as good as the last. You get all the characters back with extra background on each one, the story moves fast and has a lot of action. I really enjoy the back and forth time frames and seeing how the mysteries unfold and come together is my favorite part. I told a friend of mine that reading this series was like a grown up version of the Fear Street Saga novels I read as a kid lol. Definitely recommend The Witches of BlackBrook series by a Tish Thawer!
Wow the ending of this made me cry. It took me only 3 days to finish this book. This writer did a wonderful job writing this book. I will be buying the side stories so I finish this series. I will miss reading those books. I will have to read her other books as well.
Received an ARC copy in exchange of my honest review. This book was amazing and I could not put it down! I really enjoyed this trilogy. I love all the dialog and how quickly the plot moves forward. This book gave me everything I was wanting for all my favorite characters and how each sister showed how strong they were! I love the titles for each book and how they come into play especially in The Sisters of Salem !
The story of the three sister witches is a thrilling adventure full of twist, turns and excitement! I was so delighted to receive an ARC for the Sisters of Salem as I completely fell in love with the Howe sisters and their journey. This entire series is one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITES and filled with the things I love most - unbreakable bonds, exhilarating quests and all things magic! 10/10 would recommend.
You know the feeling you have when you’ve waited patiently for one of your favorite authors to come out with a new book, but not just any book––the end of a series you’ve been dying to read? Well, I want you to take that feeling, roll it in time travel, wrap it in magic, and sprinkle it with twists and turns that’ll take you on an incredible journey––that is what The Sisters of Salem is, a perfect finish to this amazing story! You don’t want to miss how this series ends. I had a few audible gasps and some moments that took my breath away. Bravo to Ms. Thawer for making sure this series ended as beautifully as it began. <3
Oooohh Tish Tish Tish! How you play with my emotions! I don’t remember being this excited about a book release since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows waaaay back when (original release date....yeeeeesss I queued up at midnight to go get my copy at my local WHSmiths!!)
The sisters are back! And this book is EVERYTHING i wanted it to be. I have DEVOURED it!! So much so that it feels ever so shoooort! The date stamps say that its taken me a month to read it but in reality it has been three days. Which is the fastest i have EVER read a book.
The timelines soooo very cleverly intertwined and weaved in and out of. So many ‘edge of the seat’ moments! So many wonderfully written heartbreaking scenes, and also so much love and joy.
The only problem with this book is..... THAT IS THE LAST ONE in the trilogy!! Nooooo, i need more of these sisters!!
What about spin offs?? Stand alone books on each of the sisters separately and maybe then one last one reuniting them all once again...a la MCU Avengers stylie!!! ;) #justsaying
I dont want to give too much away on the plot, because I dont want to spoil anything, but if you enjoyed the first two books, BELIEVE ME, this one will NOT disappoint.
Travel through time and books. I love the Howe sisters and their ability to work through everything. Love how it mentions another story in Colorado, which is one of my fav series. Tish has a way with words and is a fantastic storyteller.
A magical tale! Book 3 transports us back to a much different time filled with more trials than one may wish to endure. The sisters’ struggle to save themselves & those they love proves to be a difficult task, but one that must be done. I am in love with this world & the author’s beautiful portrayal of it’s characters. Quite addicting! The Sisters of Salem is a wonderful close to this series, & one you do not want to miss!
Loved all three books do your self a favor treat yourself, the family has to go back in time to catch the Putnam family so their past and future doesn’t exist, enjoy
The three sisters of Witches of Blackbrook, (who escaped Salem's persecution of witches), are back. If you enjoyed the first two books, you will LOVE this book. Packed with adventure, twists, and turns (no spoilers). I am thankful that I receive an ARC for the Sisters of Salem. I highly recommend this entire books series :)
While the storyline was entertaining and, overall, I enjoyed it, any good writer does their homework before writing anything historical. Was the book even edited before going to print? There's no way Kara/Caris could have lived in Colorado in 1705. Early Americans of European descent didn't settle west of the Mississippi until the mid-19th century. Ohio was still "The West" in 1835, 150 years after the Howes' time. Farmhouse sinks, whistling tea kettles, and general stores would not have been part of the original Howe girls' lives. Ready made bolts of cloth weren't available until the 1830s; in Karina's day, they would've sheared, plucked, scalded, dyed, carded, spun, woven and sewed fabrics by hand (I worked in living history museums for a number of years). General stores were part of the Old West...mid- to late-1800s. Aranck, the Native American shaman in Daughters of Maine wouldn't have used aloe. Again, we're still east of the Mississippi. Aloe is a southwest U.S. plant. It is not native to New England. Puritans didn't have stained glass windows in their meetinghouses. They considered them part of the Roman Catholic church and a form of idolatry. Bread was not baked daily. It took 3 hours of an inferno burning in that little beehive oven to heat it enough for baking; I've done it. It required an enormous amount of wood. Housewives did their baking once a week for the week. The living room is a 20th century term and, in 1685, only a wealthy few had a cushioned sofa to sit on. Puritan homes instead had wooden settees to sit on. There were more holes in her world building than a piece of Swiss cheese. I would've enjoyed the story much better had the author done a little research on 17th century daily life.
While it is a great conclusion to the story of the Howe sisters, I found that many of the passages in this book had just been copied and pasted from the previous two. There was a lot of repetition of scenes when characters were recalling the past. I do understand that those made the story move forwards. However, I would have liked to read more about the different timelines that the sisters had. Time travel is a concept very difficult to grasp and Thawer made a good attempt.
Spoilers ahead. The story of Salem was just not necessary. It made no sense to simply add that twist or have the Mother know it all. I wish the plot could have been resolved in some other way. The last chapters are an unnecessary twist. I also wish that Jason had a greater part in all the action. If the intention of the novel was to let the action be focused on the sisters, then so be it. Let the reader see their relationship come to live and do not add Jason into the mix.

I just want to say that I didn't find this series particularly great. However, I don't dislike it. I would not recommend it to my adult friends. The story was a bit slow, and a bit muddled. I only finished the series b/c the 1st one was good & sometimes the 2nd book sucks in a trilogy. BUT, if you have a kid who is burning through books & wants something more 'mature' to read, this is a great series for that. The characters rarely curse & there are no explicit sex scenes (mostly just simple good bye hugs and kisses & the occaisonal romantic cheek touch.)

This is the second time I’ve read this book💛 I’ve actually read the whole series twice now and I love it every time! Lots of twists and turns, love and loss and strong family bonds that transcend time itself. This series does not disappoint! 10/10 recommend!
This trilogy has been thoroughly enjoyable. Following the sisters as they flit backwards and forwards in time is exciting as you are pulled into the story. I can fully recommend all three books.
A very cheesy ending and honestly the worst of the three. I feel like what had potential in the beginning became forced and commercialized. I've never read this author before and honestly I do not think I will again.

I think it’s been too long since I read the first 2 in this series, so I just didn’t feel that invested. And I was pretty confused for most of this book. But it wrapped the series up nicely and it was definitely a page-turner, even if I was lost.
Between all three books a total of over 600 pages, double spaced. This could easily have been one single-spaced volume that you picked up and finished, then quickly forgot about. The time-travel element was clunky and awkward.
