In this short 9000+ word read, I'll list several of the dumb questions we get weekly by phone and email in the rural real estate business and explain why serious buyers should eliminate them and their variations.
Selling land as a top land broker in the South is a challenging and fun business. But, dang! Some of the questions we get cause us to just roll our eyes in frustration and disbelief. And it's not just us. I have friends with other companies in other states that feel the same way. It's just hard to take some people seriously when they lead with some of these questions.
This book is not a gripe-fest. I'm not just venting here. The goal is to help you avoid these "eye-rolling" questions if you are a serious real estate buyer and learn how to get some good information if you would ask some things differently. Good general info about land realtors' perspective.
super brief. Seems more like a guide on how not to annoy a realtor. Or how to seem like a more potentially legitimate buyer. Worth reading for the 40 minutes it takes I guess but not amazingly detailed. I don't regret reading it though.

Fun And Informative
Pat Porter knows land, and his books are short must reads for any land investor or broker. Great tips, oftentimes with enough humor or sarcasm to bring a grin to the reader’s face, you will easily make back the purchase price of the whole set of Pat Porter books in one transaction. A must read.
