Most Valuable Use of My Time

Rate this book
This book has few typical time management tips. It focuses on personal values. Strive to organize your life to achieve the most balance, harmony, and inner peace you can attain. Ask “What is really important to me?” to clearly examine what you spend your minutes and hours on, why, and how well. A good way to affirm what you want and need to feel happier and more successful is to know the importance of investing time in yourself, family and friends, interests, career, and personal growth.

Valuable events in life are Blessings, Accomplishments, and Goals. When imagining anything you want, be sure to add this insurance “Do this or something better in ways that are for the highest good for me and everyone involved.”

While there are resources and connections you are unaware of because you have not yet been introduced to them, you have most of the needed tools. What you do with them is a choice. What you make of your life is up to you. What value is placed on your days?

What are your assets in knowledge, expertise, beliefs, and value system?
What else do you do well - specifically?
How and with who are you sharing these attributes?
What are the projects, tasks, and fun things you enjoy doing?
How have these benefited you and others?
Anything else you want to accomplish in your life?

Life is filled with continuing challenges. Increase your spirit daily with activities to reinforce your resolve and bring joy to your soul. Every challenge becomes an opportunity for advancement rather than a trap door into unpleasant thoughts and expectations. Once you make a choice and your direction and commitment is firm, trust it!

Daily existence is not static. Things will always be evolving, maturing, expanding, multiplying, and infiltrating into every aspect of your life. These possibilities and opportunities are sometimes very vivid and noticeable. Other times they are hiding behind a 'problem' or hard work you'd rather avoid by taking the steps required to meet the challenge and resulting achievement.

Live well with yourself means being proud, acting with integrity, having a winner versus a loser mentality, practicing goodwill and hope, giving courage to be encouraged, and experiencing happiness.
A poem, Just For Today, is a good reminder.

Setting up a support system supplies encouragement, examples, and energy. When people work together they not only find satisfaction in helping one another create and realize their visions but they find they more often offer their own services as well as give referrals.

One chapter takes excerpts from the book Jonathon Livingston Seagull to remind you of the importance of being who you want to be.

If you need to or want to change the way you are thinking to achieve better results, modify your behavior and set a different standard of living. Thoughts lead to actions and habits which form character. Give new opportunities a chance and break the automatic negative thought pattern. Quit doubting your inner power. Maintaining a positive attitude brings many benefits. You can decide to alter the course of your life at any time. These are valuable uses of time.
