I love how Aiden and Cait get to finally have a real conversation about the past, without anyone listening or interfering with them.

Ok and AHHH OMG K.A. what are you doing to me?!?

More importantly, what are you doing to these men?!? have they not been through enough with Cait ;)

And this is a five book series and I am only halfway through book 3, what more could you have in store for these characters.

I just want to give them all a big hug, and take them away from CBCL forever.

Ahh this book is so great, but damn if Cait isn’t running herself ragged hot dam(n)!

I both hate and love the give and take between Aiden and Cait & Xavier and Aiden & Xavier and Cait.

And ugh why is Cait always running, every time she does things go haywire.

AHHH THAT ENDING!!!

HOW COULD YOU!?!

Key points in no particular order:
- mind altering
- experimentation
- hiding
- overexertion
- love lost
- assignation attempts
- betrayal

Stealing it Back is the 3rd book in The Thief Chronicles by K.A. Masterson.

From the moment I read “To Steal a Thief” the first book of this series I knew I was going to be hooked on this series. Caitlyn, Adrien, Xavier, and Derrick pulled me into the 1st book and just enthralled me and didn’t let me go.

Then we continued in the 2nd book “The Stolen Thief” and we are back with Caitlyn and I was reminded why I had fallen in love with this series and all these characters to begin with and once again I was enthralled by the story.

And that brings us to “Stealing it Back” the 3rd book in this phenomenal series. And boy does this book start off with a gun shot. (In the most literal of ways.) We are back with Caitlyn and Aiden. Only we find our intrepid duo in trouble as Aiden is bleeding in Caitlyn’s arms and suddenly Caitlyn shifts them from Port Crescent, Washington to this house on the edge of the Arizona desert.

It’s here we find Nikan where Caitlyn begs Nikan to save Aiden. But, it’s in fact Caitlyn who manages to save Aiden’s life due to her blood and who and what she is.

Once again K.A. Masterson has knocked out this book and it kept me hooked from the first page till the very last word. She did a stunning job on the pacing and maintaining the pacing and that itself kept me turning the pages.

Masterson’s writing flows on the pages perfectly and each character both new and old adds something special and enjoyable to the story. There was never a moment that a character wasn’t keeping the story moving forward, keeping the story interesting and new. And I absolutely loved that aspect of the book and the series to this point.

And then there was that ending, that ending was so satisfying and it kept me excited to see what happens in the 4th book and where the rest of the series is going to go.

With each new book this series just keeps getting better and better. The characters, the story, the action and events are so well written and intense that it can’t help but leave you on the edge of your seat!

I have to say that with how much I have enjoyed this book I highly recommend this book and the entire Thief Chronicles Series, especially to anyone who loves speculative romance. But I do have to say that you do need to read the series in order to understand the events that happen in each book.

This series just keeps getting better and better. Stealing It Back begins where The Stolen Thief ended. A gunshot rings out that could destroy someone very close to Caitlyn. In an instant, Caitlyn shifts to safe territory begging her friend Nikan to help her. Only in the end, she is the only one that can save the broken body in her arms.

This book focuses on Aiden and Caitlyn trying to get revenge on CBCL. This organization has taken so much away from both of them. When they first arrive back at CBCL they find Xaviar in extreme danger. They get Xaviar back to Arizona, and pray that Xaviar recovers. They leave him in the hands of Nikan who prays over him daily.

Aiden and Caitlyn turn their focus back to destroying CBCL. They meet many new agents as they arrive. They have to decide which are friends and which are enemies. As Caitlyn meets each of them she absorbs their powers, which makes Caitlyn the most powerful agent at CBCL, and they will stop at nothing to contain her. It takes awhile to build trust among the new agents, but they gather the ones they can trust and go back to Arizona to plan their takeover.

Caitlyn's heart breaks each time she sees Xaviar. She prays after this is over she will be able to save him and bring him back. She tells Aiden there will be changes after this is over. He begs her to reconsider, but she is adamant on what she must do.

This book had me crying uncontrollably especially at the end. It's definitely a rollercoaster of emotions. The author sure knows how to leave the reader wanting more as soon as possible. The story is woven into your brain and you just can't let these characters go. They become a part of you. Every time I would put the book down to do something, I couldn't stop thinking about Caitlyn, Aiden and Xaviar. I still don't know how I want this triangle to end. I find myself rooting for both Aiden and Xaviar in different parts of the book. I definitely recommend this series as I'm sure you will become as invested in the characters as I am. And yes I need book 4 NOW!

K.A. Masterson has done it again in this latest installment of The Thief Chronicles, and I am genuinely reeling. To put it simply: I am frustrated! It is so hard to explain why without diving into major spoiler territory, but let’s just say Caitlyn’s choices had me yelling at the pages. While To Steal a Thief set the stage, Stealing It Back ramps up the emotional stakes, focusing heavily on the complex history between Caitlyn and our favorite icy assassin, Aiden. We follow them as they navigate the dangerous waters of dodging the CBCL, but as is usually the case for these characters, things go sideways fast. Watching them forced onto the offense to save the people they love kept the tension high, even when I wanted to shake some sense into them.

While the overall story is fantastic, I have to be honest and admit that I enjoyed the second book a bit more. That might just be my bias showing because I am firmly #TeamXavier, and I missed seeing our charming shifter get his moment in the spotlight this time around. However, if you are a fan of high-stakes love triangles—think Twilight vibes but with the gritty, superhuman energy of X-Men—this series is a must-read. The FMC is a total badass, and the world-building continues to be top-tier. That being said, that cliffhanger is absolutely massive. I am left desperate for the next book to see how this all untangles, but in the meantime, I’ll just be here waiting impatiently for K.A. Masterson to give us answers!

Oh, my goodness these keep getting better and better. Stealing It Back is the 3rd book in the Thief Chronicles. I am hooked to this series like a so bad. I cannot wait for book 4. I love how K.A. Masterson creates the world in these books; it's like it comes to life in my head as I read them. The characters are so relatable and very entertaining. Side note I do love me some Aiden and Goggles. There are so many amazing characters though in this book. I am so excited to see how this series continues. Side note I cried like a baby when this book ended.
Thank you K.A.Masterson for the opportunity to advance read all of these it means the world to me.

There was one quote I loved so much:
I speak in his mind. "If you survive this, I'll give you everything back. Everything that belongs in your mind except the Indoctrination. Live through this, and the rest is yours." He watches me, confusion cutting sharply across his features. I step forward and cup his face with my palm. "Promise me you'll live." I beg silently. Aiden's Blazing blue eyes lock onto mine and i know he makes the promise.

Oh boy this book series keeps getting better and better!!! Now this one was mainly about Adrian and Caitlyn and they journey together after the ending of book two. Can I just say that this book is having me in a choke hold and I do not want to stop reading. Just everything that they go through, and everything that Caitlyn has to do to just survive is just crazy. First of all, I felt terrible for what happened to Xavier. Because no one should go through that. Second of all, just everything that's happening is so crazy with what the CBCL will do to get her back.

But again, each book is getting better and better!!! After everything Caitlyn did, she was able to finally do what she wanted to do. There were times oh she got me mad. I was lik, stop taking these men's memories!!! But then I can understand why she did what she did. Honestly you guys should read this series. I am loving it and cannot wait for book 4!

Wow. Just, WOW. This book was a rollercoaster and absolutely heart-stopping. Caitlyn has me feeling all types of emotions with her whirlwind personality and impulse decisions. Like, stop taking these men's memories! Let them love you! But at the same time, I totally get it. The ending had me gasping OUT LOUD and genuinely disappointed book four isn't out ALREADY, but I'm super excited to read it when it does come out. Masterson has done it yet again and given me a truly unmatched experience when reading her books. I can never put them down, and as much as I can sometimes be very frustrated with Cait, I often see much of myself in her, which is indicative of good writing :) I really hope Cait and Xavier are reunited once more as soulmate lovers in book four and that they get their happily ever after, because they SO deserve it. I can't wait for the next masterpiece!!!

This is the third book in the Thief Chronicles, and I’m already looking forward to the next installment. I was hooked from start to finish, the pacing kept me turning pages, the writing flowed well and every character added something enjoyable to the story. The ending was especially satisfying and it left me excited to see where things go next. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend both Stealing It Back and the entire series to readers who love speculative romance.

This was the first novel I published, but, by no means the first one I wrote. But this series spearheaded my rise to published authorship. While I'm nowhere near famous, it's nice to see my Amazon author page, to read the reviews, and meet other authors and writers. I fell in love with the story and characters, and thank them for making me a published author.

For the first book in this series I was hooked and this book did not disappoint!

After book 2 on a cliff and I dove in headfirst this book and could not put it down, it had me on the edge of my seat. I laughed and I cried.

The patient of this book was well paced and the author did a great job keeping this pace. It was also beautifully written just like the other two books.

I found that all the characters whether new or old but all brought something different for the story and I found that no two characters were the same.

I love this book went back to focusing on the love story between Caitlyn and Aiden as I really missed how they were in book one when I read book 2!

This book ends the same as the other books on a cliffhanger and that makes you want to devour the next book straight away.

Thank you to the author for the chance to read this as an arc. I look forward to book 4.
