Everything changed on the night of the Olympian Comet.
I’ve always known that I’m a witch. But I didn’t expect to discover that I have a mysterious power unheard of amongst my kind. My best friend Garrett — who I’ve secretly been wanting to become more than a friend — has one of these powers too.
We know something big is going on. But we didn’t realize that there are ancient creatures searching for us, and that they’ll kill us for what we are…
The Wrath of the Fury is a short story that takes place in the Elementals universe. It can be read before, during, or after the Elementals series.

I'm still thinking whether or not I should start this series. The writing is good and the characters seem very interesting. This short story was action packed and it definitely peeked my interest in the Elementals series.
This is a new genre for me, but after this it won't be the last. 2 very short stories, read both in under 40 minutes. Will definitely be looking for more of these series.
This was such an interesting stort story - very quick and fun!! The characters worked very well of each other :) And I really like how the magic worked in this world :) Not sure if I'll continue with the series... but this one was good :)
Sydney Parker is witch, but not just an average witch. These witches are descendants from Greek Gods!
The Wrath of the Fury by Michelle Madow is short story that’s part of the Elementals Series. This short story was the perfect length for the time I had available and a great introduction to see if I wanted to start the series - which I do.
The story is focused around 1-2 days with Sydney and her friends Kayla and Garrett, and some rather interesting events that take place.
*Instructions about how you can get the first full-length book in the bestselling Elementals series for FREE are at the end of this short story!*

4,25 stars. A sneak preview of the Elementals series do the writter tells us at the end of this novella that the characters of this book only come obove water again in book 5. In the few pages this book contains I did enjoy this novella and it ends not only with a bang but also a cliff hanger!
Really enjoyed this past paced novella set in the world of Michelle's Elementals Series. It was intriguing to see what others were doing the night of the comet (if you've read the main series you know how those characters spent that night). My absolute favourite part about this setting was the fighting was taking place at the Diamond Hotel !!!! If you've read The Secret Diamond Sister (Series) by Michelle you know of this hotel... and it was just really neat to see her bring theses two worlds together !!
Za darmo jest dostępna na Amazonie. Trochę szkoda, że taka krótka. Z tego możnaby stworzyć fajny spin-off, a niestety otrzymaliśmy racej niewykorzytsany potencjał w postaci króciutkiej nowelki.
The night of the Olympian Comet, everything changed for three friends. These friends also happen to be witches, descendents of the Greek Gods. Something is happening, it has their teacher scared and the principal putting a curfew and lockdown in place for everyone's safety. However, that won't stop the trio from sneaking out to attend an event. However things take a turn for the worst, and two of the three find out something rather interesting and dangerous about themselves.
This is a short story that I've had sitting on my kindle for AAAAAGEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS. And since my kindle TBR list is sitting at 191 BOOKS! YES 191. I HAVE A PROBLEM. I figured what better time than now to start to whittle this list down to something a bit more manageable and lets face it...normal. So I've decided to go through all my kindle books and get through all the novellas that I've got sitting on there. This happened to be one of them, I believe I also have the first book to the Elementals series sitting on there as well.
I found this to be a great story to cut my teeth on as I haven't read anything by Michelle Madow before. This story can be read at any time throughout the Elementals series, it doesn't impact the main story line from what I can gather, it's just a little peek into the Elemental world.
While I enjoyed this story, it was fast paced, action packed for such a short read, and the whole premise of the world and the inhabitants is super interesting, I did have a teeeeeeeny issues with the writing. Don't get me wrong Madow is a good writer from what I'm seeing in this story, and she has a way to make her characters jump right off the page, I just felt that she was 'telling' rather than 'showing'. I'm hoping that this changes in the main series, and that maybe it was just a problem in THIS particular story as it IS so short.
There's not too much I can say about the story other than what I've already said, but I definitely recommend it for those who have read the series, or are yet to read it.
This is only a short book (about 13000 words) but does a fairly good job of introducing readers to a world which seems like our own but includes gods, goddesses, witches, and mythical creatures in the shadows. The story is set in Las Vegas, partly at a highschool and partly at a fancy party at one of the glitzy casinos.
Sydney Parker is a witch, which in this world means that she is in some way descended from the Greek gods. When her powers were spotted by one of the Elders, she was enrolled in a homeroom for magical kids at her school, Spring Valley High, along with her friends Kayla and Garrett When an ominous comet appears in the sky, strange powers begin to appear and all the magical kids are all told to stay home inside magical protection, but Sydney, Garrett and Kayla have tickets for some top DJs and sneak out to the gig. Things start well, but soon become dangerous, and Sydney has to make some very tough choices.
The world in which this takes place confused me a little. The community of witches seems to be at least partly in the open, and Sydney describes her powers as including being “unnaturally lucky”. If the people running the business of Las Vegas had any idea that such abilities existed, they would never be allowed anywhere near a casino!
The story itself was fun, but really only the first few chapters of a longer story, and it finished without answering any of the questions raised at the start. I also felt that the introduction of Sydney and Garrett’s special powers was very sudden, as was their decision at the end of the book. I would have preferred a bit more time to get to know the kids, their families, and more about the community and the magical world they live in.
Elementals: The Wrath of the Fury Kindle Edition by Michelle Madow An intelligent story, with a perfectly built, deep and complex world and a heroine that everyone of any age can connect with. I don't know if I am happier I found Ms Madow's work now or that *I happier that I have all of her books to look forward to? Honestly, I'm a little of both! I really can't wait to dig all the way into the Elementals – a series of novels about the descendants of the Olympian gods who are now witches. This, the Wrath of the Fury, is the kick off story, and like any good dealer, Ms. Madow gave us the first bit free just to fully addict us and I am. The last time I was this addicted it was the Godhunter Series and I'm already jonesing for the next one of those!
Like all great literary crack, Madow's work hooks you instantly. Opening up with a visit to the desert to see a comet and revealing that the narrator, and her friends, are all witches is a great hook! Short enough to gobble up after school or if you are just a teensy older, like me, with a glass of wine after dinner, but deep enough to keep you craving more, I give this short story 5 shiny shooting stars out of 5.
Just when I was getting the hang of these new characters, it was over! My seat wasn't even warm yet. Frustration that's what I felt when I finished reading this short novella. I need it to be a little longer because it's kind of bad leaving Kayla like that. I thought they were supposed to be best friends! Also, now I'll never know Sydney and Garrett's adventure since the main stories weren't about them.
Ignore my rambling. That's just me being melodramatic, having a hard time accepting that it's finally over. Elementals series was the first series that I read from the author, and I enjoyed the story. Hence, I checked out the first book's blurb on her other series, and I liked what I read. You have my support, Michelle, and I'll start reading them soon!
This short novella, The Wrath of Fury, is an addition to the Elementals Series.
Sydney, Garrett and Kayla are witches… but when they break curfew and sneak out to a club, Sydney and Garrett find out they are different from the others. When all h€!! breaks loose, they find themselves on the run… but from what and why they aren’t sure.
This is such a quick read, I read it the same night as another novella. As always Michelle Madow doesn’t disappoint. I’m drawn in from the first scene when Sydney’s magic does something unexpected and I literally read without pause until it was finished. This story can be read in any order with the other books in the series but having read first, it’s such a teaser as to what’s coming that for sure I’ll be grabbing book one, The Prophecy of Shadows next.
This is my first time reading a book by Michelle Madow. Elementals: The Wrath of the Fury was interesting because it had as much detail in the story as a regular book would without being long or overly explained. Michelle does not force you to purchase the book set for a conclusion by leaving you wondering about the ending. You can either purchase the set because you enjoyed the book and love to read or buy the 5th book in the series to find out what happens.
This was just a short story. I guess a precursor to a book series. This short story was quite interesting. A school where witches and demi gods go. 2 of these kids s far didn't know they were witches, but then a Fury showed up and informs the both of them that they ate actually demi gods, daughter of Aphrodite and son of Hermes. Now this story was super short and it does sound very "Percy Jacksonian", but throw in some teenage witches and a weird comet? I'm curious about what happens. Aren't you?
Picked this one up to go with the rest of the Elemental Series. I was a bit surprised how quickly it escalated and ended up with a pretty much a cliff hanger. I am wondering if there will be a spin off for these to cover the demi-gods and how their life is like after the big show down. Will there be a few books on the "Xavier"-eseque school for the gifted? It will be interesting if that is the case. Whilst this can be read as a standalone, it may be confusing and not catch the attention of a new reader. I recommend reading this after or during the reading of the main series.
They didn’t realize that there are ancient creatures searching for them, and that they’ll kill them for what they are…
I loved the Elemental series so I really have no idea why it took me years to read this short story. Now that I read it, i think it's time for a reread of this series - it's been too long.
A hooking short read. For such a short book, it is action-packed and well written.
Full of witches, furies, gods, demigods, action and loss.
If you enjoyed the Elementals series and wouldn't mind reading more about demi-gods from that universe, you will enjoy this story. Even if you have not read the series, this is a good standalone short story that may just intrigue you into reading what happened next. I enjoyed revisiting the comet appearance with a different set of witches.
This was a nice short story that gives another perspective to the Elementals world. I read this after finishing the series, so I knew where Sydney and Garret end up while reading this. I wish it would have explored where they were and what happened to them between the end of this novella and where they end up, though.
Syd and Garrett had no idea what they truly were until they snuck out one night to a club in Vegas with their friend Kayla. A fury attacks, calling them demigods and sending their whole world into a spiral. Where are they to go now?
Such an interesting story in the world of the Elementals. I cant wait to see more of these characters.
I gave this book a rating of 5 because I loved it . It was sad though. They lost their best friend. I loved it because it was unique . I recommend this book to anyone that loves magic .
I enjoyed reading this novella, it was written brilliantly. I just wish it was longer than what it was because the book has so much so before or during the books. But either way , I would still recommend this book.
Interesting Take on Greek/Roman Mythology in Modern Times
This has an interesting take on Greek/Roman mythology in our times. The characters started out as a bit conceited but then they came together when needed to. I think I'm hooked on this series.
...even though it is 52 pages long. Most of the book is an advertisement for the Elementals series. The 52 pages include the first four chapters of the first book of the series. This short story is a good introduction to the series.
I didn't judge the book by the cover this time and I was genuinely surprised by how much this novell titillated my curiosity for the Elementals series. I can't wait to see what else is in store for us readers!
I would like to see more of Sydney and Garrett. I'd like to know what they were doing while Nicole, Blake, and the others were handling things on their side of the world.
