Depressing Read

This may contain some spoilers, though unintentionally. First, the author does a good job of creating this story and moving it forward. The characters seem a bit two dimensional and never really get fleshed out. The game world he creates is the most depressing environment where kill or be killed, dog eat dog, trust nobody is the prevailing theme. It stretched my imagination too far to believe anyone would create a game world that no one in their right mind would want to play. Especially if their goal was to make money. For me to enjoy a book, I want to be able to identify with some of the characters. I couldn't, there is no fun in the book. No real humor, no light moments; yes there should be challenges for the protagonist, but it can't be weighted negatively with the few advancements being to few and hardly enough for a promise things will get better. (Sorry for the long sentence.) I gave it 3 stars because the writer is not "bad" at writing. The story didn't do it for me. I would not recommend this book, nor will I be purchasing any more of the series.

Difficulty Legendary

Great read, loved the characters and storyline. Great surprises and shocks, Intrigues aplenty. Really great action to keep you interested, I read the whole book in one sitting. Fab

Kindle Unlimited Overall was a very interesting book, except...took a bit too long to actually get into the actual game part of the story, which maybe could have been handled in a more condensed form or something, but overall as always say, look to the stars {ratings}, but went faster in second installment.
