Complex Three…in the heart of the Republic’s military-industrial complex. Where the brightest scientists created advanced fighting machines to hopefully repel the advancing savage horde.
The Republic was on the ropes. Ever since the fateful counterattack in the northern hills, the savage horde remained one step behind Joe, chasing him from behind enemy lines to the prison camp at Old Stony Lonesome and onward.
The laboratory compound of Jade’s creator should have provided Joe’s beleaguered group a respite, but he knew better. Fascinating inventions, android siblings, a kidnapping, and more kept them constantly on the move, scrambling their way on to Gogury to the home of the curiously named Animatronic Cloning Group.
And then the Hunter-Killer flew overhead.
Joe could crawl halfway across the Republic, surviving aerial bombardment and worse. Circuits fried, fireballs crashed, and still the odyssey continued to Complex Three.
Young Adult fiction author of action/adventure novels for the young, and the young at heart -- and now branching out into adult themed works including two new psychological thriller series and a couple of moonshine books too.
Prior to my newest series, my standalone novel, Creeper Falls was published. It's another classic teen action/adventure that's even more heavy on suspense: http://www.amazon.com/Creeper-Falls-C...
Before Creeper, I released Complex Three, the third in a YA, SciFi, dystopian thriller series. It all started with Savage Hills, an edge-of-your-seat story about teens trapped behind enemy lines. Even if they could, they're not sure really want to make it back to so-called friendly territory. Check it out here: http://www.amazon.com/Savage-Hills-Ho...
Prior to that series, my latest book was Murder Cove. While not a huge departure from my usual outdoorsy wilderness survival adventures, this one has a bit of an indoors Die Hard feel too--and a nice dose of humor. On Kindle and paperback. http://www.amazon.com/Murder-Cove-Chr...
One of my more recent releases, Game Changer, is a float trip gone wrong. It's perhaps a bit like Deliverance...for teens. http://www.amazon.com/Game-Changer-Ch...
Then there's the trilogy, which was finished in 2015. Hard to believe it's come to an end, starting with... Fugitives from Northwoods -- a dystopian, action/adventure novel: http://www.amazon.com/Fugitives-North...
Book three takes more of a turn into the wonderful world of chaotic robots and romance! I love how each book has had a very different feel and different overall theme. The plot is fresh and the new characters bring so much comedy and fun in the midst of never ending conflict. I won't ever be able to look at a bus or robot without fondly remembering this story! The end leaves so much more room for a continuation and I'm dying to see what Bostic has in store next for our weary heroes.
I liked this book the best from this trilogy. Enjoyed the character development over the 3 books. Grew to appreciate Cookie as he became more human because of Jade. Left me wanting a fourth book.
