Just-okay easy reader on the subject of pumpkins. The narrative is a little dull, but it succeeds in offering an informative and easy read for beginning independent readers. The photographs are mostly blurry and of an amateur quality.

Learning about the different kinds of pumpkins, where they come from, history, and how they grow was fun to read about. It also has an activity to do with children in the back.

Overly simplistic. Abrupt ending.
Pictures should have been prettier.
