L. Ann started with the Baxters and followed that with multiple series and genres. While her books feature paranormal, FBI, ex-military and Badass Bikers, L. Ann is writing about the strong women that these men need in their life to help right the world's wrongs and keep their small part of the world safe. The women are extraordinary, strong and determined to make a difference.
The men fight for right in every book. Yes, they kill people. Yes, the MC shoots at the bad guys’ feet to cause them pain. Yes, some throw tampons at each other regularly.
That being said, they do these things while stopping human trafficking and experimentation, bringing their world into legitimate businesses, fighting gangs to keep drugs away from their town and kids, keep women sheltered safely while trying to stop domestic abuse. These are men that don’t leave a pack, Team member or Brother behind. They don’t treat women as possessions and they don’t cheat. Respect takes on an honorable meaning. Women and kids are cherished. Everyone is looked out for and everyone is equal.
L. Ann has made amazing worlds, tackled the taboo subjects and made it easy to imagine living in a world where your protection comes from the vampires, shifters, freaky kids, albinos and orientals, military turned FBI and some Badass Bikers.
With readers writing about rereading the series over and over, she feels like she’s told her characters’ stories in a way that would make them proud.
Every book will make you laugh, every book will make you angry for the wrong that happens in the world. Every book will make you cry for the pain that a character feels. Every book gives you hope that we may just get it right yet

Crazy

Ricky and Elizabeth's book was awesome. Between their awkward start, Knights crazy and the great love story they turn out to have this is one of my favorites in this series. I am very excited to read the next one.

Another awesome book!!

This series could just keep going forever (evil smile)...I don't feel that the storyline or characters suffer. I absolutely loved this book! The whole Steve blowing stuff up was hilarious. It's when Elizabeth kept getting hurt it did seem twisted in Steve's head. Love the banter and relationship of Ricky and Elizabeth. Nothing is done easy in the Knight family. I still love how all the Brothers show all in and when they screw up they own it and make it better. Love this world and love the ideals it shows humanity needs to take a good hard look at how we live our lives! Great book and can not wait for more!!!

Love it

It's great to see the mc kids grow into amazing adults, Ricky turned into a fantastic man who made Elizabeth's life better than she expected. It is also great to see the mc family are still nuts.

Ricky and Elizabeth's story was so worth the wait! This was a great love story and love how Ricky was never shy about telling Elizabeth how he felt. Really was a changing of the guard but not what I was expecting! I couldn't put it down. L. Ann does it again. She never disappoints with the crazy MC Brothers. I laughed throughout the book with the antics. So glad this showed Pres in a better position than in Christian. Ricky shines through and shows why he is destined to take over the MC.

Oh my Ricky!

This was another stellar entry in the MC saga. It was good to be back with the MC and see the old familiar characters as well as her to know the children better as adults. I love to see the Baxters in there too. Ricky and Elizabeth are a great couple. I loved to see her learn to value herself as much as he values her. Knight is my favorite of the original cast and it was great to see he still could have something to learn also. Keep them coming please!

Loved it

I loved Ricky and Elizabeth's story. Tiny and Nancy raised some amazing kids. I love Ricky. A bit like Uncle Danny, unrecognized for so long for all he does, you clearly see why he will be the next MC President. In Ricky you see the best of all the MC top men.
Elizabeth, has been a MC princess her whole life. Steve's over protractive ways have made her off limits and the few men who have taken a chance have treated as a conquest, and like a whore. While she has seen the kind of love all in is she thinks its something she will never have.
A tragedy bring Ricky and Elizabeth together. To much alcohol leads to a night of sex. When Tiny walks in the next morning, an emergency wedding is executed. Needless to say Steve is not happy.
Ricky and Elizabeth both feel they work. The readers say they work. Convincing Steve they work, and that Ricky can protect he, well that's a problem.
Ricky really treats Elizabeth as a princess, and a equal. While he worries about her safety her trusts in her abilities. He sees herself doubt and while he can't read her he can read those who contributed to her state of mind. He works to build her up.
Steve's retaliation's are epic and amusing at first. When Elizabeth get hurt and he doesn't let up, you realize that something is really wrong. Ricky sees it and works hard to bring Steve back before they have to do something unthinkable.
The attacks on the MC, Baxter's and Prince's, continue. As the big picture unfolds, the younger generation continue to show the older how capable they are.
A great story. Ricky is now my favorite of the men of the little brothers all grown up. Every women should have a life partner like Ricky. Can't wait for the next book. With Kaleb Baxter's political ambitions, can't wait for his and Jared's story. Will they be like their father's and share a wife or is their a special women out there for each of them.

Wow...this is book 10 of the Mc series that started it all. Ricky has been part of the Mc from a teenager being adopted by Tiny and Nancy in Mc Callahan. He worked alongside Little Ben and the other Mc kids learning the life and ethos of their way of life. He quickly progressed forging strong bonds with all. When Little Ben left and moved to start Princes Mc Ricky took over the Little Brothers and continued the work they started and quickly became a force to be reckoned with albeit behind the scenes. As their abilities start to emerge he is moved up to VP and is being groomed to one day take over as President of the Mc. Elizabeth is Steve Knights daughter and sister to Little Ben. Her father always protected her fiercely to the detriment of allowing her a normal teenage romance. After a tragic event Ricky and Elizabeth find esch other and what follows is more crazy Mc shenanigans. Knight is trying to protect her still unfortunately not how she needs. This is an amazing but also slightly hilarious journey to convince Steve she's finally found someone to take care of her. Meanwhile the crazy Mc haters are still trying to disrupt life and their plans. Absolutely loved this book once again L Ann Marie has outdone herself with an imaginative story full of action, drama and love.

I absolutely love this book! Ricky and Elizabeth are an amazing couple. They fit so well together. Steve, Elizabeth's father, getting angry and blowing everything up was hilarious and sad at the same time. I'm glad I learned more about how he thinks and how his brain works. This book had me laughing, as always. I teared up a bit in certain parts and love that love is always an important theme. I love the little messages in the the books as well as the current events that are happening. This book to me spoke of the need to love and respect yourself. Always love yourself and treat yourself with respect. Definitely one of my favorite books in this series. I can't wait for the next story!

Definite must read!

This book has it all! Explosions, fighting, bikers, surprise love, and so much more! And if you had any issues you had with this author's last book, The Protectors: Christian, I beg you to read this book!! Ricky's book comes RIGHT after Christian and may help clear up any issues you have. When two people come together unexpectedly and get caught can they handle the extreme crazy that is the MC? Can Pres make up for his past transgressions towards the gifted kids? What all gets blown up this time?

read this as soon as i realized it was available. this is a truly engaging series that i have thoroughly enjoyed. what i have said in previous reviews still holds true - my only real problem is that sometimes it is a bit ambiguous as to which character is speaking so i do get a little confused and have to reread sections to get them in perspective but aside from that and also keeping the cast of thousands straight in my head the author shows great imagination and carries off great romances amid the action and mayhem.

We’ve all heard the jokes and stories of the overprotective dad right?
Well what if your overprotective dad was the VP of an MC, an ex-Seal, and really and truly deadly?

How would you begin any relationship?
What kind of guy is brave enough to date you much less try and form a relationship.

Elizabeth grew up in the MC, she was protected by all the men and told over and over that she could be anything she wanted to be. But somewhere in all that she never learned self worth like the lessons were meant to. The only time she tried she was used.

Ricky grew up in foster care until he was adopted by Tiny & Nancy and became part of the MC. His character and loyalty come to light when he stayed in a dying relationship so his suicidal girlfriend wouldn't end it all. He grew up with Elizabeth in the MC and heads the Little Brothers. Ricky shows everyone his loyalty to the MC and Pres and what a great leader he is.

The MC has gone through some upheavals and it looks like there is more to come. The Protectors is where Elizabeth has found her professional life and in Ricky she will find the love and respect she deserves.

A really great read that flows well with humor, loyalty, and awesome characters.

Another fantastic book !!!! I have loved every single book more than the previous one. We have read about Elizabeth since she was an infant. We saw how severely protected she was by everyone. When Elizabeth and Ricky get together, they are forced to get married. This is when we see just how protective Knight gets about his daughter. It takes the entire MC and the Princes to bring him back to normal.
The relationship between Ricky and Elizabeth is so amazing!! They reminded me of Jess and Steve!
I can not wait to see who's story is next but until then, I will be falling in love with everyone all over again, beginning with Knight!!!

I applaud L. Ann Marie on another awesome book. Ricky, son of Tiny and Nancy, Elizabeth, daughter of VP Knight and Jess, are the main characters in this book. Ricky and Elizabeth have been drinking, getting drunk, when Ricky's dad shows up the next morning. Elizabeth is covering herself with a throw blanket to cover her naked body. Tiny is saying Knight is going to kill Ricky. Knight is very protective with his daughter. When Knight finds out he goes and blows up Ricky's house. Uncle Danny is talking about the couple getting married, saying that once their married, VP won't kill Ricky. VP is blowing up everything.
You have to read "Ricky". There is a lot of humor and some tears. I give this book a 10. Can't wait til the next book.

Awesome book!

Before reading this book, Ricky was just a background character and Elizabeth just Little Ben's sister. Now, I know what a strong, smart, and sweet badass he is and what a strong, smart, and sweet badass she is! Learning about them and reading their story has made the two of them one of my favorite couples of these series!

I'd give this book more then 5 stars if I could. RICKY pure sexy sinful delight. But surprisingly the humor and the face palm moments really did upstage Elizabeth and Ricky as a couple IMO, but it really worked for me. I'm by no means saying that the couple aspect was lacking or that I found it wanting because that's not the case at all. It was just a really fun book to read. I'm never disappointed when I pick up one of L Ann Marie's books.

Oh the only down side. ONE HECK OF A BOOK HANGOVER.

Another one out of the park

Each book gets better...each book draws you in further...

The MC antics are back. Pres has gained an understanding that he didnt have before. Ricky found the woman that was meant for him even though he wasn't looking. Elizabeth found respect and a love she never expected. What a story. Each one draws you in further.
You definitely need to read the books in order. There are several but that is part of what makes this a great series. You can follow you favorite characters and watch the kids grow into who they were meant to be.

I loved this book as I have all the others in this series and spin offs. However as a huge fan of Steve Knight (VP) I was torn as he spent a fair part of this book not reflected in a good light.

Well rounded story

I enjoyed reading Ricky and Elizabeth's story. Their characters are well written and develop nicely throughout the story. The book was full of action and parts I actually laughed out loud. at. The ending was probably one of the most sentimental and romantic moments in the series.
