Tim and Cass! The different perspectives they bring to Batman's mission as Robin and Batgirl are so interesting when set side by side like this

That cover is simply amazing - and yes I WOULD keep it in my house! It also makes me think that a Robin/Batgirl team-up could’ve been a great thing!

“Issue #18” starts with Cassandra having a psychotic guilt dream.

Batgirl goes out patrolling and finds a deal gone wrong with lots of guns involved. They fight. In the middle of the fight she runs into Robin. Explosions follow.

Robin tells Batgirl he’s here for the boss and guess she’s here for the assassin (who got away). He tells her he put a tracker on his car before he came in and gives her the homing device. But they both find themselves at the same house!

They bust in and fight before they find someone tied up who says they took his daughter. Robin says to spit up.

Batgirl finds the assassin with the daughter but he shoots her and jumps in a car and drives away.

Robin wonders how she can get shot? He’s seen her dodge bullets before?

Robin intercepts the random demands for the girl. He thinks they can set up an ambush. Batgirl is sure, he will kill the girl no matter what. They follow the tracker.

That was just an incredible experience. I can’t wait till they put this in an Omnibus. The artwork just gets my heart pumping.

I wish this team-up had lasted longer. 5 stars
