Very nice cover!

I literally couldn’t write a word before I finished the story. It just moved so fast and the art was so amazing.

Five FBI agents are shooting at Cassandra Cain. They tell her that the man she is protecting is a terrorist. She doesn’t believe them.

The guy she’s protecting and her are both captured by the FBI. The guy is being interrogated. He’s an FBI sharpshooter. He’s never seen Cassandra before. He somehow couldn’t shoot his latest target.

”Did she… did she go through with it? Her terrorist plot?”

They laugh at him. And tell him that he has to die for his failure. Then they go to interrogate the girl.

She’s already freed herself and gotten a gun. She gets the sharpshooter untied and takes him away. They warn her that they can get to her. She tells them that her friends will find him.

Then a big chase!

This is a just a fantastic series and this type of story is why. Very few words, but lots of action. How can you not love Cassandra after this?

She’s a darker kind of bat. Her sense of justice is more instinctual. There’s no ‘code’.

”Instinct. That’s…. Who you are.”

I keep forgetting to credit the inker Robert Campanella. It really matters!
