Four stars. Looking for a fast, hot mafia series? This is it. Apparently these books were previously published under a different name or a different author. I am not sure how this works but you might have read them before I had not so this is not an issue for me.
Alexei is part of the Bratva. When he murders someone and the woman he has secretly been admiring from afar witnesses the kill, the only thing he can do is kidnap her and make her his prisoner. She resists him but of course, he slowly breaks her using her body against her. not very original and I am not a big fan of edging but it was written really well. So she eventually falls for him (that's not a spoiler unless it's your first mafia romance) and then there is drama, intrigues and more drama but int he end there's a happy end.
This series has a thing for dub/con / darker subjects but because it's written very one dimensional it never gets angsty. For a quick read this is def a good thing.

Great Mafia Romance
I enjoyed the romance between the two characters, and even though Alexei is the dangerous Mafia boss, he tries to be reasonable with Tara even when she fights him at every turn. The whole Mafia theme is brought across perfectly. This was my first book of Kiera Silver but i will definatelly read more from her.

Too short
Book was too and had many typos. Good storyline but it could have been way better. Prolly won't read another cuz it just didn't make me crave more and that's what I love!

Too many grammatical errors! Words missing from sentences, misspelling...book was rushed and at time boring. I skipped over more than I actually read.

I have marked this book as read but I only got to about 20%. Despite double checking my read books list, this book felt like I had read this story before. It was so familiar that I correctly predicted what was going to happen. But no listing of this author on my lists. Sorry but it was a DNF.

Previously published under R.E. Saxton I gave this book 3 stars for a few reasons. The book nowhere states it was previously published and for trying to republish with a different name it should at least have had a good editing. I also wouldn't list as a dark romance, more just a mafia romance.
I will say that I did enjoy the story both times I read it and the characters. The story can be read as a standalone but has returning characters and should be read as book 4 in the series as there are spoilers for Patrick: A Dark Mafia Romance if you wish you read that first.
