I believe children will really enjoy this book. It is filled with unique facts about each animal as the book ticks off every animal from A through Z. It is really well written with poetry that is entertaining and interesting. The images were bright and attractive which kept the child's attention. I can highly recommend this to anyone that is looking for a bedtime read for their little guys. I learned a few things along the way too.

This is a very educational book. Children will learn much from the use of words in the poetic language and the many facts the book tells about animals. They will enjoy looking at the pictures and find the poetry to be clever and fun.
The author focuses on animals from A to Z: antelope, bear, camel, donkey, etc. Kids will learn much about the animals, where they live, what they eat, how fast they can run, their favorite pastime, and so much more.
For example: Elephants eat 22 hours a day and their trunks have over 40,000 muscles. Giraffes sleep only two hours a day and do so standing. X-ray Tetra, a fish, lays 300 eggs at a time and the baby fishes that are born can swim the day after birth.
