The exciting sequel to Run....

A love gone wrong…
Despite the tumultuous events that brought them together, Aya Smith believed she’d found her happily-ever-after with Dare, the love of her life. Soon, however, things begin to fall apart. Feeling overwhelmed by Dare’s jealousy and possessiveness, Aya finds herself at a crossroads when she realizes that leaving will break both of their hearts.

A passion too strong…
Dare O’Shaughnessy wanted Aya from the second he laid eyes on her, and he stopped at nothing until she belonged to him. He’ll do anything to keep her by his side, but as his love grew into an obsession, his biggest fear of losing her was becoming a reality.

Someone’s watching….
As Aya tries to break free, Dare fights to hold on to what they once had. But when a new player enters the game with the intent to steal Aya away for his own nefarious means, Dare will do whatever it takes to protect his woman. But will it be enough to save her?

Great follow up!

I love Aya and Dare. Dare is that book boyfriend you don't quite want to admit to. The book is full of action and suspense. Aya did make me want to slap her, but I still love her strength. She's the only woman who can handle Dare. Some parts repeated and lagged a bit, but overall it was a very solid read.

I adored The Run, but now that I've read the sequel I wish I'd stopped reading after the first book, with its HFN ending. While this sequel wraps up Dare's and Aya's story nicely - *too* nicely, actually, I could have done without the generic ending. Come on, who hasn't read dozens of stories where the main characters for some inexplicable reason fail to communicate properly with their significant others, only to have bad things occur because of it dozens of times already?

I didn't hate this novel, but I didn't love in either. Unfortunately, this one only gets three stars from me.

LOVED how insanely possessive, obsessive, and jealous the H was for the h. That was my favorite part! However, I did not like the dark and disturbing scenes when the h is in captivity.

Master!

Aww what a beautiful ending. It’s always a puzzle to me as to why someone would want to take revenge on someone who had nothing to do with the cause of their pain but then again that’s just how some mind’s work. I must say that Aya and Dare was responsible for what happened to Aya, nevertheless I’m happy everything worked out in the end. Ohh not forgetting the hurt they have felt from being betrayed by someone so close (Aya specifically)

One thing I love when I’m reading my novels is to be able to read the thoughts of both the hero and heroine, and with that Eve Vaughn has always delivered. So another job well done by this author and I definitely recommend this series

"Master" is a well done conclusion to the story of Aya and Dare that begin with "Run." While not always an easy read, the story is very compelling. Those familiar with Dare and Aya's story are aware that they have quite the hurdle to climb regarding their personalities. There's no doubt that they are in love but both are very strong-willed and stubborn. Personal issues conflict with relationship issues to drive an engrossing story about forgiveness and growth.

Very good read that I recommend. The trilogy - series? - as a whole is very good.

Not for Me…

I really wanted to like this book, but sadly I could not. I had to skip several chapters just to get to closer to the ending. Something about this book was a little too triggering for me and I think this book could stand to use a warning at the beginning too. The first book for Aya and Dare was super intense, but just barely likable; I was highly disappointed when this book did not go in the direction that I thought the cover of the book was indicating. Read at your own risk!

Was a good enough read however both the hero and heroine were irritating. Aya had issues and always thought that the Dare wanted to control her even when he really just wanted to protect her which directly led to her putting her life in danger and making it easier for Reichardt to kidnap her. It is an interesting read.

Lovely ending

I love Dare and Aya and this book was just as great as the first one. Dare was still over bearing and possessive but for good reason this time. I loved their make up sessions after their fights and even though I hated what happened to Aya in the end it made their love stronger.

This was a page turner I couldn't put it down.

Should have left the original alone

I didn’t enjoy this at all, the original and this couple should’ve been laid to rest.I skipped through to parts that were interesting. This story did not hold my attention and even the most exciting scenes were a snooze fest. The plot of the kidnapper and aya being controlled was a good idea but the execution was just blah.

Master

The book three of the series with Dare, Aya, Foster, Tori, Uncle Edward, Mera, Ben and Macy was an excellent wrap up of Eve Vaughn's writing. Suspense, twists and turns kept the story along as a page turner. Im just sorry the stories with these characters are over. Job well done Eve.

Enjoyed!

The storyline was good, but Aya began to work on my nerves with her self righteous way. Even though I don't agree with what happened to her I felt she got what she deserved , she should have listen to her man. I would recommend this book.

There is no point for this book to even exist.NOTHING happened that made Dare's and Aya's relationship progress in a BETTER direction. The first book was all we needed.

Good book. This was the HEA the author aimed to give the readers after book 1 & 2. Not sure if the kidnapping was needed. It's a good read overall. Solid 3.75

Happy that I read it!

Happy that Aya grew up. Had to learn to be humble and see that Dare wasn't a bad seed. Lesson was learned the hard way, but the lesson opened her eyes to the ugliness of the world around her. Dare was a very patient man, because At a was difficult and at times too independent. Great read and happy that I read it.

Master

A continuation of the characters I found fascinating in book one. The controversial subject matters continue in this book, as it works through a true? Love romance.
Editing needs work.

*** POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT!! BE ADVISED THERE MAY BE A B IT OF A SPOILER IN THIS REVIEW ***

I finished reading Master and it was outstanding. I like the total redemption of Dare because he was a colossal south end of a northbound mule and motorscooter in The Run. For those readers that complained about him not totally redeeming himself at the end of The Run, they will be more than satisfied. It was almost as if he was broken by what happened to Aya. I figured out who was stalking Aya and torturing Dare before she was drugged and kidnapped. I was soooo pissed at Dare for not telling Aya everything but a lifetime of being closed off was hard to break. When Aya went missing, I wasn't sure if Dare would be able to find her before it was too late or if he would survive if he found her too late. But the story still took twists and turns before a true HEA happened. Eve, thanks for this return book and the redemption of Alasdair O'Shaughnessy!

Eve Vaughn is an incredible author who writes books about jerk alphas that manage to come back from total jerkville to likeable semi-jerk. Not everyone is a a good guy and not every good guy is likeable. Sometimes the jackass needs the right woman to help him see he's been a motorscooter his entire life and needs to change before someone kills him.

Great follow-up

Ooh child....not for the faint of heart. I truly dig the futuristic vibe to this story and oh what an imagination this author has!

Aya and Dare both had hang ups; both were holding things back from the other which left them vulnerable to catastrophe.

I cringed while reading about the brain washing against Aya and the ladies; don't know if I could have survived that!

If it is meant to be, you'll find your way back to the one you love; Dare had to bank on this being true and it paid off.

Well Dobe!

This was a perfect follow up to the Run. Dare and Aya are one of my favorite fiery couples. Dare has the jerk quota on overload, but he sure redeems himself. Aya is a firecracker and doesn't go down without a fight. Good writing, very engaging story. Definitely worth the read.

At first I loved the book and wanted to give it 4 stars, but then near the end of the book I didn’t really like it. I was a bit disappointed tbh. Ps I want me a dare like damn is it so much to ask for ?

Sequel 2

The first book to this series is my favourite. Still a good read, but I felt more emotionally for Ava in The Run, than in this kidnapping mind control storyline.
