When an old enemy hatches a dastardly new plan, it's up to Poppy to save the day.
Poppy McKeever and her pony Cloud are all set for their first showjumping competition at Claydon Manor. Only Poppy’s nerves stand in her way.
So when snooty rich girl Georgia Canning disappears halfway through the show, it barely hits Poppy’s radar.
Until her beloved donkey Chester also goes missing and she realises something is dreadfully wrong.
So begins a chain reaction that will see Poppy face up to her arch enemy – and force her to think on her feet before time runs out for both Chester and Georgia.
Can Poppy unravel the clues before it’s too late?
Missing on the Moor is the sixth book in the Riverdale Pony Stories, a feel-good pony adventure series enjoyed by young and old alike.
In this booked I loved how Georgia still managed to keep her spolit child attitude three it all, and how poppy remained true to her character, brilliant, sad the series is at an end
GOOD HORSE stories. I would read it again. The only downside is the stupid decisions that Poppy makes time and time again. Is she really that clueless? Each book seems to be catering to a younger audience
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Missing on the Moor is the sixth book in the Riverdale Ponies series following the adventures of Poppy and her beautiful pony Cloud in their home on Dartmoor.
This proves another excellent addition to the series. Poppy is dealing with the nerves of her first show, and then finds herself in the middle of a mystery she can't talk about. As with the previous books, it's well written and paced, and mysterious to the end. The fear Poppy feels, and the tense, spooky moments just grip you and you can't help feeling what Poppy does.
But what makes this series for me, is the love and relationship between Poppy and her pony. And the laughter I get from the antics of her little brother Charlie! Safe to say, if you've enjoyed the previous books, you'll enjoy this one too. If you've yet to try them, then if you like pony books with real substance to them, this is totally for you!
