The last thing Liam Daly expected was finding a real-life Goldilocks in the Colorado mountains. But after a blizzard leaves Meredith Jensen stranded, Liam’s solitude is shattered by the electrifying golden-haired beauty.
Sheltered Meredith is determined to build a new life for herself. But she’s compelled by Liam’s warm soul, still recovering from a love he tragically lost decades earlier. It’s just a matter of time before they give in to the spark between them…a spark that unexpectedly makes them parents-to-be.
Even though stand-up Liam wants to do the right thing, Meredith won’t settle for a duty-bound man. How can she convince Liam that his real-life Goldilocks is just right…forever?

Looking for a seasonal read without going into Xmas romances yet ? Here is the book for you, with a story set « just in winter ». Between the rich heiress whose family doesn't understands the need for independence, and a wildlife photographer with many autistic traits added to a painful past, plus his adorable doggos, we get a wonderful blossoming romance, with natural complicity, doubts, realism, shared humor. It's SWEET. Cute. We immediately get attached to the characters, from the overanxious – not for nothing, finally – Meredith to the grumpy-prince charming Liam. Everything in there is credible, how they deal with the situation and problems, how they make little mistakes while trying to do the right things, how they communicate with each other. It was absolutely wonderful.
9/10, rounded up to five stars. Really nothing to complain about.
